Citadines Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok

Best place with a cute lil kitchenette. This was our second time there and will always prefer this place. Location is good too. They provide buggy to the main road if you need.

Welcoming and smiling staff, comfortable and spacious room, cleaning done every day. The hotel is ideally located. The gym is well equipped and the swimming pool is pleasant.

Very good hotel. Just what we need to get away from Nana's madness while still being able to enjoy it as we wish. The pool is small though.

Although within walking distance from Sukhumvit, Citadines is a quiet retreat from the Nana area craziness. If you don't feel like walking there is 24 hour tuktukservice to Sukhumvit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I really liked having the kitchenette, with microwave, stove top, cutlery, dishes, and cookware so that I could stock up on snacks, water, drinks and groceries.

Location is in a corner all the way in soi 8. Room was fine. Got all i need. Downside is, my window is facing an abandoned building/hotel and being a lone traveller i find it hard to sleep at night. Hair dryer not working but everything else was good. Check in was a swift. Fair price and u get what u see online.

Bad breakfast and in fact there is no restaurant they offer breakfast from outside and its so baaaad. 2. The dealing from reception is bad. 3. The photo in booking fake not like real. 4. The money not equal = value. By this rate there are so many better hotels trust me.

We purposely booked here because we wanna go Khlong Toei market to buy food and cook ourselves. We like the kitchen, it has microwave and stove. All the plates and utensils are very complete.
Our housekeeper is very cheerful & friendly. We have our room cleaned everyday, including vacuum and floor mopping. I requested for extra pillow and it came fast.
This hotel has 24hr tuk tuk to send u near Nana station, you can use Line to communicate with the reception to ask for tuk tuk, or just wait awhile coz there will be guests coming out from hotel using the tuk tuk.
Everyday there are 2 jars of different drinks near the receipt counter, eg. Butterfly pea, Roselle, chrysanthemum.
You can buy laundry tokens (90baht) from the reception, and they will provide you detergent and softener. 1token for washing, 1token for drying. There's even complimentary water filling at the laundry room, so you don't need to go buy mineral water.

I have to put 2* because of the morning reception staff, absolutely outrageous!
I would give 5* if only the lady in charge of the night shift was there all the time.

This was the perfect place for me. The studio rooms have a small kitchen with everything you need supplied. There is also a gym and a pool which were never crowded. The staff were excellent and very helpful. A special mention to Mark on reception and Cindy on the concierge desk who helped me with a couple of small issues and were always very friendly. If you can try to get a room facing towards Sukhamvit as the rooms on the other side don't have any kind of view.

This Apartment really good at service, they have Tuktuk car drive from the entrance to the sides treet to the Apartment and Apartment to the entrance to the sides treet. In room their are kitchen with pan, pot etc.but this room not soundproof

It's deep in the soi so a 5 to 10 minute walk to the SkyTrain, though there is a regular tuk tuk that Citadines provides if you don't wanna walk. There are bars/restaurants at the entrance to the soi so plenty to eat and drink with a very reasonable wine bar also located there.

Photography is great, hotel not so much, better options available cheaper. Staff were professional, polite and helpful

Superb hospitality for which this hotel is described on Agoda and other websites. Very humble, helping and courteous front desk staff especially Kun Jaa and Kun Mark. My room was upgraded and my stay comparing price, service and location is money value. I am very frequent traveler to Thailand for business purpose, Have made up my mind to stay always in this hotel in view of its above qualities. Highly recommendable for other travellers too.

My expectations:
Cafe - atleast a small coffee shop or vending machine in the ground floor for paid coffee/ tea 24/7 with snacks / light eats.

For a decent coffee we need to go to times square or Soi 11.

Yes ofcourse you can make your coffee / tea in your room.but who does that

It was pretty good, and I could not complain for the price - a nice room for about $US45, which was well appointed and clean. As other reviewers have noted it is in a nice quiet location at the end of Soi 8. It does seem to be running on minimal staffing levels though.

Cons: Only permitted two large towels per day, no wash cloths provided. Asked for extra pillows twice and never got them. Room was only serviced once in the three days we were there. 90 baht for one laundry token, needed FOUR to fully wash and dry one load of laundry. Pathetic rooftop pool. Terrible view. TV did not work and only had one channel when it was working. NEEDS A SHOWER CURTAIN or something to prevent the floor from getting soaked - or extra towels

Pros: Great 24 hour tuk-tuk service to the end of the street. Fantastic location. Decent fitness center. Friendly staff at front desk helped arrange airport transportation. Great AC

I stayed there for the 1 night test and go, an dI have to say the rooms are more like an hospital room than 4 stars hotel. The swimming pool is more like a bath for your foot. They re better choices at this price.

Ok place small rooms they don't give enough water to drink. And the swimming pool was awfully cold
