Very good hoster, staff speak English very well, because it is so important for a visitors. I recommend this hostel!

Clean, good location, friendly stuff, every day fresh water in the fridge. Would definitely go there again!

It is a good hostel and everything was fine. The only problem was mosquitoes in the public areas like kitchen. I hope they have done something about it already. Overall it is a nice hostel, recommended.

Good place for backpackers. Room was comfortable and clean. Good quality of wi-fi (included in the price of room). Staff spoke English fluently so there were no problems with communication

Very nice hotel it is simple, quiet, very clean and the staffs are very accommodating. Near to temples- by walking and the price is affordable. They have a restaurant that offers breakfast & short orders.

Sehr schönes Hostel. Gute Lage, schöne Zimmer und breite Betten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und spricht gutes Englisch. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr sauber und schön gestaltet. Der Preis für das Frühstück ist relativ gering und man hat eine gute Auswahl.

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy rooms with everything you need. We didn't eat breakfast but we heard it's good. Close to several temples so a short&cheap ride with a tuktuk brings you fun!

The Chern Hostel is located central in the old part of the city in waking distance to the China Town the old palace and several other sides. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are pretty nice clean and cheap for how good it will is. They also have washing machines free to use which is pretty convenient. The only thing I didn't like as much was the breakfast. It was expensive and not very much, though there are several indoor and street food restaurants where you can eat instead.

This place is beautiful. I stayed 4 nights and things were tranquil after a long day out exploring. The staff are great. They know just enough English to help with the important stuff. There are coin laundry and dryer machines. The area is not blocked with traffic so it was a breeze to go around.

Stopped over here for 2 nights before flying out again.

Hotel and rooms are very clean and quiet.
Air conditioning in the room was a must and worked great.

Not far from all the landmark temples etc. (Most within walking distance)

Food served from 7am till 2pm.
Cab from bangkok international airport 500baht and 400baht to/from Don Mueang and takes roughly an hour.

Location: Great location 10-15 min walking to kao san road. ~30 mins walking distance to the Great Temple and Wat Pho. Close to nice restaurants.

Accommodation: Great air con. Bedroom clean, spacious, just like it looked on the internet. Bathroom was nice. Wifi worked, though it disconnected sometimes (easily fixed).

Staff: Could be more friendly, they did their job though. You can only pay cash! (no credit card) In booking we booked WITH breakfast and when we arrived they told us our reservation did not include breakfast. You can get great breakfast at ETHOS restaurant (~10 min walk)

Impressive reception area, fun common room/play area, comfortable dorms. Slightly inconvenient common bathroom per dorm.

Clean hostel with little catering service that will serve decent food from 7am to 2pm.
The location is great as the main attractions of Old Town are in a walking distance.
Friendly staff and a daily water bottle/person. We had a double single room with A/C which was well decorated.

Two washing machines and two dryers.one of each is out of order.room is clean.staff is ok.but could be nicer.we didn't feel welcome. All in all don't expect too much. It is a" tourist come-tourist go"-place.

Chern Hostel was a great place to start our vacation around Asia. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean, spacious, good air conditioning and towels/hair dryer/etc. There is a common area with games and books, wasn't great atmosphere to meet people but it was nice to come back to a quiet room after a long night in the bustling city. The breakfast was inexpensive but delicious! Definitely a good value, clean, comfortable, and close to main attractions!
