Bangkok City Hotel

Location in the city center. Close to Level Eleven, estimated 50 meters. There are quite a lot of breakfast options and they are delicious. Rooms are quite big. And there is a bath up. Suitable for holidays with family

Good facilities. Near to Bts. Easy to get halal muslim food, just opposite the hotel is Muslim street

Location is good, lot of traffic noise from the streets, horrible rooms, dark and smelly, my bathroom had cockroaches coming out of bathtub, ants in the rooms, mediocre complimentary breakfast at the lobby is full of chainese tourists all the time, no place to sit.

Pleasant stay here. You can see lots of Malaysians staying here due to it is near to the Mosque & halal food on the other side of the road. Please bring your own iron as the hotel's iron always occupied. Breakfast was great and delicious. Nice staffs too. The only downside is the main road always heavy in traffic, very taking time to get a grab / bolt driver.

I just hope they have different variety of breakfast options everyday. But overall, nice hotel to stay in Bangkok. Resonable price!

Good rates for a hotel around Bangkok with breakfast. Not the best, but with decent clean room, comfy bed and over blasting Aircon that cannot be controlled. Was given a 9th floor room, not noisy, but view is forgettable. Anything lower, don't bother with outside view. A questionable toilet arrangement though, the pedestal is too close to the door. If you are doing business and someone opens the door quickly, your knee might get hurt, and what's with the bath tub without shower curtain? Really have no idea what's going thru the designer's mind on this arrangement. Probably better off just with a shower facilities. There's a very nearby street, Soi Phetchaburi 10, has plenty of local and finger food. I'm just not happy that the surrounding titbits shops seems to try overcharging unknowing tourists.

It's really not a hotel! A run down, noisy, crowded place, no tidy dining room, disgustingly bad food, extremely bad service, there is nothing good about this disgusting place.

When I first heard the review, I saw people calling the hotel weak wifi, no hot water, but I affirm: the hotel COMPLETELY has HOT WATER, strong Wifi (1 Youtube viewer, 1 video call machine is still smooth). The location on the street, calling a motorbike taxi, tuk tuk, taxi are all convenient, 300m from Rachathewi BTS station. Night sleep is NOT noisy like previous reviews. There is free breakfast

At the counter, a female employee wearing a black suit and thin glasses (like a manager) who sometimes appears at the counter. Usually the office right across the counter? It's the woman in the room.

I smiled and politely asked for a beer opener, but as he sighed, he threw away the ballpoint pen he was using. I opened the beer in a panic because it was so rude, but I noticed while glaring at him with the attitude of telling me to finish it quickly. I'm going to go back after everything, but I don't even say hello and fight.

It was my 4th visit to Thailand, and he was the least cheap person I've ever seen.

Had a pleasant 3night stay in this hotel.not very luxurious but great value for money. Lovely breakfast, walking distance to lots of local eateries. Highly recommend if you are after budget friendly family hotel.

Not sure why putting jacuzzi bathtub instead of normal rectangular bathtub or bathroom with glass door. Since not covered with curtain, water from shower faucet splash all over the floor.
Provide coffee maker instead of water boiler.
Wardrobe has no light.
It has a good restaurant & massage shops & 7 Eleven nearby.

Clean, fair price, decent breakfast. The only concern is the bath tap ran very slow when we used it.

Too bad for the services, staff were not friendly, old facility. Stayed 3 nights without cleaning room, even we asked staff twice about this.

Had a really great stay but every time breakfast time comes, other main dishes are almost none and replenishment takes too much time thus we ate sausage and fried egg almost everyday because thats the only thing you can partner with fried rice. Wifi connection is strong and fast. Accessible location and walking distance to a train station. Anyways, I will recommend this to my friends.

Superb place to stay. Ideal location.near to all major shopping and night market. Super close to halal food town

Good location! Affordable (cheap) room tariff per night. Friendly receptionist, clean room. Lighting quite dim, need more light at the room. Food quite good, every day we got same menu (not varied). Btw, the chicken Pao is great. Free Wi-Fi is available but very very slow, and after you complain to receptionist, they will restart the router but the speed still same (very very slow). Very often the internet connection is failed when accessed using Wi-Fi.

I would like to give a compliments to the housekeeper name Saijai she's doing a great job! We like people with a great smile specially when you are in thailand.
To the manager of this hotel, thank you for your great job! Air-condition was not a problem anymore! In behalf of my family thank you! And your assistant the Lady who always there to assist us, im sorry i forgot her name. But one thing that it makes this rate low is your receptionist staff. Make them smile and pay attention to what your customer needs. I also working same as them.but even its so tough in a whole day we never fail to SMILE

Queen bed mattress collapsed caused backache, single bed with wood in the middle popping up, , having to sleep on the side of bed.complained but manager very rude.

Very old Hotel and not at all maintained. Worst breakfast. Hotel is in pathetic condition. Badly due for renovation.
