Wat Phothisatto Chaomae Kuan Im Betong

Guanyin Temple is located on a hill in the town of Betong. It has an antique design. The temple is condescending and has excellent feng shui. At the entrance of the gate in front of the temple, there is a seven-story pagoda dozens of feet high. Behind the temple are Guanyin Bodhisattva and the Eight Immortals. The icon sits.

Guanyin Temple is a very popular temple in the local area. Local believers and foreign tourists come to worship and pray every day. In addition to worshiping Guanyin Bodhisattva, who is the main worshiper, Guanyin Temple also worships related saint emperors, the Nine Emperors, Jigong Living Buddha, Master Hua Tuo, Empress Zhusheng, Third Prince Nezha, Great Uncle Duke of Fu Zhengshen, Hong Haier and Duke Datuk, etc.

Located on higher ground, road leading to it is steep and quite narrow altho 2 cars can pass. It isnt really a Goddess of Mercy temple as there r many other deities inside. By d side of the main shrine is a flight of stairs leading to another open air level with more figurines of deities and a big bronze bell. Limited free parking within d temple grounds

ตั้งใจมากราบไหว้เจ้าแม่กวนอิมมาครั้งแรก วัดสะอาดสะอ้านดี ตอนเข้าไปมีเจ้าหน้าที่หลายคนถามเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้หญิงใส่ผ้าคลุมผมยาวมัดผมว่าไหว้ตรงไหน เค้านั่งอยู่กับพื้นแล้วก็ชี้ๆบอกให้ไหว้ข้างนอกก่อนแล้วเข้ามาไหว้ด้านในแต่ไม่ได้เดินตามออกมา เราก็เดินออกไปด้านนอกมีกระถางฟ้าดินบอกจุดที่ 1 ด้านหลังบอกเป็นกระถางธูปบอกจุด 2-3-4-5-6 เราไม่แน่ใจว่าต้องหันหน้าออกหรือเข้า หน้าศาลเจ้าจะถามแฟน ละมีอีกคนผู้ชายกลางคนมือถือกดๆอยู่ยืนหน้าประตูละตะโกนมาไหว้ตรงนั้นแหล่ะแล้วเข้าไหว้ข้างใน ละเราจะปักธูปเค้าก็ตะโกนขึ้นเสียงมีอารมณ์ ก็บอกให้มาไหว้ข้างในก่อนค่อยปักธูป เนี่ยๆไหว้พระวนๆตรงนี้ แล้วเค้าก็กลับไปนั่งกดมือถือต่อ คือเป็นอะไรก่อนโมโหอะไร๊ จากจิตใจเบิกบานอยากทำบุญหมดอารมณ์ หรือเค้าต้อนรับเฉพาะคนมาเลย์

Large Chinese 观音廟in Betong town. One of must visit places if you are first time here. At the back of main temple top floor houses all the 太岁Deities which are not so common even in SG.

Truly magnificent Kuan Yin. The Pagoda too. FYI, the Pagoda does not have stairs, therefore visitors can't climb up. It's made that way.

Very clean temple and there is also a huge Guan Yin statue. The local come to pray here very frequent and they are very nice to tourist. They even teach us the proper way to pray and sequence of praying. The whole environment are filled with a sense of historic. Worth a visit when u are in the downtown of betong.
