V.J. SEARENITY KOH CHANG

The rooms are pretty old but it’s fine. The bed is very comfortable and huge. The AC is extremely noisy and it points directly at the bed, so it gets very cold at night. We had to sleep with ear plugs each night. There is a construction side next to the hotel, and sometimes it started at 7: 30 am so there was not much sleep for us. The breakfast was average. The site and the pool are beautiful. There are not enough sun beds and guests have a tendency of occupying them all day without actually being there. The staff is very nice and polite. Would come back, when the construction side is finished.

Rooms felt a little unfinished, missing a wardrobe/drawers,
Huge building works going on next door, noisy when outside however not able to hear inside the room which was great.
Beach front sand a bit dirty, felt like run off from building site, however staff great at clearing any obvious debris.
Lack of sunloungers for the number of guest, beds reserved with towels from before 7am. Meant often did not get one.
Breakfast was a little repetitive, same fruits and type of yoghurt each day for the 5 days.
Spacious rooms, clean and modern.
Staff very friendly, helpful and polite
Hotel arranged a wonderful taxi from Bangkok.
Located at the end of the beach, great location to wander down to other bars and restaurants.
Not far from the main Road, shops 7/11, great restaurants, and a quick scooter ride (on a hotel hired scooter) to walking street and kaibae for more fabulous restaurants and bars.
Smart TV with netflix loaded was great for watching after a long beach day and to escape the tropical rains.
Happy hour frozen strawberry daiquiris were arroy mak mak.
All in all a cute place, worth the money, shame about the building works however honestly didn't affect our experience at all, the sunlounger situation did though.

The staff should direct that guests do not pick up sunbeds without being there.
As well as people smoking by the pool despite the prohibition sign.

Very nice place but they have no internet. That thing is anything but internet. Pitty for such a nice place.

Vayna has a good access to the beach, and the overall ambiance is good. The rooms were kept clean, the staffs were really helpful and friendly. The floors were quite slippery in the evening from all the people walking down there after a swim. They don’t have an elevator, which is kinda disappointing.

ห้องที่ได้พักเหม็นกลิ่นส้วมมากกก แบบเปิดประตูเข้าไปเหม็นเลย จนต้องขอสเปรย์จากแม่บ้านมาฉีด เราโทรไปแจ้งฟร้อนว่าห้องเหม็นส้วมมาก แต่มันย้ายไม่ได้เพราะเป็น long holiday ห้องพักเต็ม คิดว่าปิดประตูเอาก็ได้ +ไปกับครอบครัวการหาห้องพักใหม่คงยาก กะว่าตอนเช้าย้ายห้องแทน แต่กลางดึกกลิ่นดันทะลุออกมาที่ห้องนอน ทั้งคืนนอนไม่ได้เลย (จ่ายเงินไปดมส้วม) ช่วงตีห้าเลยลองเปิดประตูระเบียงยาวไปถึงเที่ยง กลิ่นถึงเริ่มจางลง

ลักษณะโรงแรมเป็นแบบหน้าแคบ แต่ยาวเข้าไป ห้องหันหน้าเข้าหากัน ไม่เก็บเสียงใดๆวิวระเบียงอย่าคาดหวังเพราะเปิดออกไปเจอโรงแรมข้างๆแทน ฟิลเหมือนอยู่ในหอพักธรรมดาๆ ห้อง seaview มีอยู่แค่ 6 ห้องมั้ง ที่จอดรถน้อยเมื่อเทียบกับปริมาณห้อง

ห้องพักแอร์ค่อนข้างดังแม้จะเปิด Fan low ห้องน้ำไม่สะอาด ฝักบัวน้ำกระจายเปนฝอยทุกทิศทางเพราะคราบตะกรันของฝักบัว ฝักบัวหลักร้อยควรบำรุงรักษาบ้าง บริเวณที่วางสบู่มีคราบสกปรกทั้งสองห้องที่ไปพัก ผ้าเช็ดตัวควรวางบนเตียงไม่ใช่วางตรงชั้นไม้ ระบบการจัดเก็บผ้าที่ใช้แล้วของโรงแรมเก็บใส่รถเข็นไม้และวางไว้ใกล้บันได ไม่สะอาดตา พรมเช็ดเท้าก่อนเข้าอาคารเป็นสีขาวแทนที่จะเป็นพรมยาง ตู้เย็นในห้องค่อนข้างเก่า บางห้องมีคราบน้ำหวานในตู้ ไม่มีการทำความสะอาด การออกแบบปลั๊กไฟไม่มีปลั๊กไฟที่หัวเตียง

อาหารเช้าธรรมดาไม่น่าเกลียด
อาหารในโรงแรมและเครื่องดื่มราคาเหมือนร้านอาหารโซนสุขุมวิท แนะนำไปหาริมหาดใกล้ๆกิน ได้วิวเหมือนกันแต่ราคาถูกลงเยอะ

เตียงอาบแดดมีไม่พอถ้าเทียบกับจำนวนห้องเกือบ 40 ห้อง แต่เตียงมีประมาณ 10 เตียง

สระว่ายน้ำไม่รีวิวเพราะไม่ได้เล่นแต่น้ำใสดี

One week at this boutique hotel was a complete recharge for us! The hotel has a quiet beach, laid-back atmosphere, friendly super nice staff and a big swimming pool with comfortable chairs and beds around it. The daily happy hour was a big plus! We would stay here again without any doubt.

We spent 11 nights at this resort and it was amazing. We stayed at a tropical room which I highly recommend. Very good bed and great bathroom. They cleaned everyday without asking for it. The staff is really really great and they do their utmost best for you every single day. With every question they helped and looked for a solution. For example, we needed a n extra electricity cable for our laptop and they provided one within minutes. The location is just perfect, right at the beach with a stunning pool and happy hour everyday from 3 till 5 pm. We will miss this place and will surely come back again! Once again.a big complement for the staff and everything else that made our stay a 10+

VAYNA is a beautiful, laid back resort with kind and attentive people. Location was great, it was on a very quiet stretch of the beach, and directly faced the sunset. Pool was okay sized, not huge but large enough not to feel crowded.

Our room was pretty standard, but I appreciated several things - well placed sockets, a balcony (we didn't stay there but it was helpful for drying out towels etc), the spacious bathroom, and the very reasonably priced minibar. Each room was also provided with a beach bag which was a nice touch and came in quite helpful during our stay.

Breakfast was good. Bread, cereal, fruits, drinks and a salad bar were laid out buffet style, but the main meal had to be ordered, which meant getting a hot breakfast whether you go at 6: 30 or at 10AM. The fried rice was very tasty

Restaurant food - good and reasonably priced. Waiting time was about average. Bar - we never ordered any cocktails but the beers were also reasonably priced and they were served with a beer cozy.

Overall we were very happy with our stay:)

Great Hotel, very modern, friendly, great staff and good breakfast. I would come back at any time!

This is a really good hotel, it has a great atmosphere and a cosy feel to it. From what I gather it's a family run hotel.

It is located off the main drag and at one end of Klong Prao beach. It is a quiet location but has all amenities and some restaurants etc close by (within 5 minutes). It's beach front showing is impressive along with the infinity pool.

The on site restaurant provides fantastic food from the a la carte menu. We had a variety of dishes and they were all really tasty. Breakfast was good, offers something for most. They also provide a nightly BBQ on the beach which was a charming evening and great BBQ food; we opted for T-bone and king prawns.

All of the staff are really friendly, helpful and chatty. They all made us feel at home. We would have a chat most days and in the evening while having a drink at the bar.

Our room was spacious and provided everything we needed. It was cleaned daily to a good standard but one thing I noticed was the bed not being changed, it had become slightly grim to sleep in. I took the sheets off myself in the end and they were changed.

The only negatives as per above which I'll bring to the staffs attention would be; the sunbed situation, people were reserving prime sunbeds extremely early (maybe even during the night!) so it was hard to get one - the main issue being most would be reserved but not used for hours! Perhaps any beds blatantly not being used during peak times should be handed to waiting guests?

They were small issues for us, but it's good to supply some feedback.

We would definitely stay here again if visiting Koh Chang as we did enjoy our stay.

Horrible cleanliness, flies in the bathroom and bedroom, old AC, smells like mold and fungi, drain didn't work properly and flooded when taking a shower, hot water didn't work, dirty bedsheets, absurdly overpriced. Half a star for the decent renovation attempt and another half for the beach/location.

Not a good place! Looks like a jail and is far to expansive for the quality! The rooms are old and they don’t look at all like in the pictures the hotel is offering to the customers. The WiFi is not working and the impressions after I went to my “superior” room with see view you can see it the pictures attached. The AC is working but is to loud to have a proper sleep. The management is not helpful to solve those issues.

I really spend a good stay at this hotel.the girl at the reception very friendly, had a twin superior and although the decoration is outdated the bed was super comfortable, big bathroom and very hot water. They were very attentive with our towels and replenishment each day. There is everything nearby and good atmosphere at night, the hotel masseurs really impressed me, I will be back! Thank you

Clean and beautiful accomodations. Quite and suitable for families and couples. The beach spot is amazing and provided with professionals massage corner.

Our bag was stolen directly from reception. Cameras not working. No one help from hotel staff, just giggling.
Manage of hotel - Kwanchai Booncharoenkit was aggressive and told that it not his problem.
Terrible place with disgusting staff. He show cameras only then police come, but cameras not working.
In no case do not stop here, you will be robbed and no one will help you.
