Tantawan Bungalow

Just on the foot of white sandy beach. AC Rooms are really nice and affordable starting with 500bhat. Rooms are just outside the white sandy beach which I loved the most and the owner is really a champ too.

Great price & location. They have very simple rooms right on the beach for 500฿ (low season) but quite dark & no balcony/patio area. The bigger rooms behind those are 1000฿ (low season) are very nice, spacious, & comfortable. Both options have aircon and a small fridge. Our room also had a TV. The bed is firm, which was fine for us, but if you’re used to a soft bed it might not be so comfortable. The owner is very kind and helpful. We didn’t want the room made up but she still gave us water and toilet paper daily and new towels as needed. The location is great with plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants nearby. The hotel has some chairs & a table you can use to sit on the beach. It’s recommended to walk up the beach a bit to swim as there are some rocks right around this area. Would recommend and stay again!

We stayed here for 3 weeks on December. I liked it! Basic room, but on the beach which give you the freedom to enjoy and relax. These are the pictures of sunset that everyday I could see

This review is just for the beach bar not for the bungalows! The beach bar is just lovely. The sea is 15 meters away and especialy the atmosphere in the evening is breathtaking. The cocktails do have a high standard for Thailand and the staff is extremely friendly!

Dirty, very dirty and expencive.
Train station toilet are more clean then this place.not service, not breakfast

The bed in my bungalow was horrible.its like sleeping on a block of wood. Didnt sleep the entire night and directly ckecked out in the morning. Not another single night. Never!

Good place.
Directly on the beach. Every bungalow have its own terrace, parking for car and motobike.
There are restaurants and massage salons. Local food market works every day right next entrance. This you can buy lot of tasty food and fresh fruits by little money.

Not recommended. Needs upgrading. The air conditioner, TV, and safe didn't work. The door lock was broken so they put a padlock on it. There was a rubbish bin turned upside down in the shower - don't know what it was for - perhaps it was for bathing a child? The bedcover was a large discoloured towel. Restaurant was closed down. The Reception staff tried his best and moved us to another room which was marginally better in that the air conditioner worked, but this place is run down. A lot of better places to stay for the money charged.

Tasty and fresh food, sea view and nice atmosphere. Good prices. Paid for my Chicken curry with vegetables only 90 baht.
