Sea-Sun Bungalow & Resort

I love this hotel very much, the room was clean and staff super friendly and helpful, location a bit far from the beach but not too far, maybe 15min walk. All guests get complimentary breakfast (eggs, toast, jam, cofee) and that is so nice of them. I read some coments about breakfast being "poor" - how can you rate something that is given you for FREE as poor? You didn't pay for it and they are giving it for free. I would highly recommend this hotel, great value for the money.

All of our family had a wonderful time here! We stayed in a new building. Rooms were bright, spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfortable. The resort is 3 minutes drive from the best beach on KC - White Sand Beach. 7/11 and Macro are walking distance. The owners are a very nice family and by the end of our stay we felt like we visited our friends. Good luck guys and see you some time in the future!

Just arrived on koh chang island on the latest leg of our thailand adventure. Beautiful island in the northwest of thailand, near the cambodian border. Just driving along and spotted the seasun bungalows, 550 tbht per night for big double room, very clean and tidy with nice surroundings. Only 500 mts from the beach, and at this price, well worth a visit. We're here for three nights, maybe more.

Very friendly and accommodating owners/receptionists. Place is clean and well-kept. Sheets are white (very important for me) and clean. They have free coffee and toast every morning - just help yourself. Also they have a little garden to chill and eat in should u bring food back to the hotel. Garden also has some colorful birds. Price is not expensive. Drawbacks: toilet and elevator doesn't smell nice (just talking about the main bldg not the bungalows and the other bldg to the back) and convenience stores so far away (500 meters to 1km) from here, though u can find restaurants in front of the place.

It was our first time visiting Koh Chang and therefore Sea and sun bungalows, and we absolutely loved it.
The location is perfect - 10 minute walk to white sand beach with plenty of bars etc en route. Taxis are also easily accessible from the accommodation.
Each morning you can go to the guest area and sit amongst the birds and wildlife and help yourself to coffee and toast.
Upon arrival Game (owner) had already upgraded our room, which was so spacious and really clean. We were given fresh water daily and had our sheets changed for us multiple times.
Game and Praew (Belle) were so friendly and they really did make our whole experience in Koh Chang unforgettable. They accompanied us paddle boarding, then to a beautiful lunch at a seafood restaurant. On our last night we all went for dinner at the local Thai Buffet which was a whole experience in itself, can’t say we’ll be eating chicken feet again anytime soon!
Overall Sea and Sun was the perfect stay, made so by its wonderful staff, and of course Lucky and Sonar ()

บังกะโลค่อนข้างเก่า ห้องเหม็นอับ ห้องค่อนข้างสกปรก เดินทีเหมือนดินเต็มห้อง ฝุ่นเต็มห้องค่ะ ปรับปรุงหน่อยนะคะ

สะอาด​ ร่มรื่นแม้ไม่ติดชายหาด​ราคาไม่แพง​ ห้องพักมีหลายแบบ มีนกแก้วหลายชนิด​ มีกาแฟบริการตอนเช้า​ ใกล้ที่กิน

Staff was SO FRIENDLY, personable and not the least bit rushed to answer questions, treated me like a friend. Saw some monkeys out the back one morning, they enjoyed me sharing a few bananas.

Super friendly and helpful staff, nicely equipped bungalow, cosy garden. But the bed was awful, the worst I've ever experienced, barely slept, woke up with the back pain and. BED BUGS bites!
Such a shame

Great location, Very friendly staff (Game and his lady).
It's my 2nd visit and I have no desire to go anywhere else.
The bungalow is spacious, clean and well kept, loads of TV channels.
I'll be back again in 2 weeks.
BRAD

Clean family room in front of big parrots cage so nice to wake up with their sounds and walk through small jungle! Breakfast toasts butter jam coffee, good quality bed and helpful staff. Shops, scooter rental and food in short walking distance, beach in 5-10 minutes walk

Location is a bit noisy if you do not get the bungalow (hotel rooms are on a busy street side). Personal is speaking English and assisting. Rooms are relatevily clean (we only were in the "hotel part"), while the bungalow are small and old. Not the best in general location because of noisy busy street, beach not close by, and we wanted to cancel because of the location but we had to pay it all.

It is a place that you can relax and have fun.
Close to main village, atm and 5 minutes walking to the beach.

We came late in the evening and they tried to give us room with terrible smell like some sewage pit, when we refused they suggested Bungalow with single bed (we are family of 3 persons) or some dormitory type rooms with bathroom in staircase at the main street with big noise. After we asked for 2 bungallows they said that they will be free only next day with additional fee we have agreed only because it was late and we were tired. So first night was waisted. Bungalows was OK, but overall experience very bad. Tourist trap.

Was travelling with a company of my wife and 2 kids of 6 and 1.
First sight impression was bad. We spent one night in two-storeyed room 31, that was not clean - with dust on stairs, and another places. Bath was clogged as well, furniture and appliances were very old.

We asked lady on reception to change the room, and she kindly gave us first floor room. This was much much better. Clean, spacious and comfortable with nice garden. In the evening we enjoyed self made BBQ.
So, finally I can say that this place is worth of money. And I suggest management to take more attention to upper floor rooms
