Makathanee Resort Koh Mak

ห้องพักเก่าไปหน่อย ไฟแสงสว่างเสียบางดวง แอร์เย็นช้า แต่อื่นๆ ดีชดเชยกันไป พนักงานบริการดี น่ารัก มีท่าเรือเป็นของตัวเองขึ้นเรือเดินเข้าที่พักได้เลย ถ้าชอบขับมอไซค์เที่ยวมีรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ให้เช่าวันละ 200 ขี่เที่ยวในเกาะได้ มีร้านขายของใกล้ๆ หลายร้าน ที่นี่เป็นจุดชมพระอาทิตย์ตกที่สวย ส่วนใหญ่เป็นต่างชาติที่มาพัก อยู่แบบสงบไม่มีเสียงเพลงรบกวน ชอบค่ะ

Small, fine resort on the island of Koh Mak. The rooms were very large and well furnished. The breakfast was varied, from Thai to continental you could get anything. The beach was very nice. Unfortunately there were only a limited number of beach chairs.

Beware of beach flies, unfortunately very common on this island and in this resort.

Positive: good location and nice beach
negative: the condition of the hotel is a disaster. We spent one night in a beach bungalow for €80 and the pictures say it all! For that price we didn't even have a safe in the room! There was a price list in the room of what you have to pay if you break something - a disgrace given the condition of the room! Breakfast was so-so - food lukewarm!

Fairly characterless place on the beach. We didn't eat there and didn't see the resort, just the restaurant, so I can't comment on anything else. Just up the beach are a couple of bars and restaurants on the sand, much nicer if you just want a drink.

ไปเที่ยวทุกที่มาที่เกาะหมากสถานที่พักดีมากนั่งสปีดโบ๊ทมาประมาณ 31 คนหน้าสักชั่วโมงนึงได้แต่พอมาถึงที่พักก็โอเคมากเลยตอนนี้เราก็ได้แต่พักผ่อนนั่งดูทะเลมีความสุขมาก

ชอบค่ะสวยงามสะอาดพนักงานมารดีค่ะแต่หาดว่ายน้ำได้แต่ให้ระวังมีหอยเม่นเยอะมากๆใหญ่มากน้ำใสเห็นชัดเจนค่ะสุดยอดห้องพักกว้างครบครันดีเยี่ยมอาหารอร่อยค่ะ

We stayed on a sea facing villa. It had tge best sea facing view you can dream off. Sunet view, small islands, clear water, clear sky, no water sports disturbance and many more features for a relaxed family trip. It also has swimming pool, bar, resturant, carts, e-bike and scooters on rent. Leelawadi speed boat dropped us at the door step, so no hussle after reaching the Koh Mak Island. Everything about the resort was very satisfying and enjoyable. The only exception being the breakfast. But there are many options around the island for food and drinks.

The Resort is nice, but needs a bit of maintenance. Most of the staff is nice buy the person on the front desk is quite unfriendly and do not care for the guests and communication with the hotel is quite difficult. We tried to contact the place many times via email, line and Agoda sms to organize the transfer from the pier to the hotel before we arrive in the island but nobody answer and we had to look for a taxi on the pier, while all the other tourists had a car from their places waiting for them.
We paid a very good price for our room and was totally worth it. There is a nice pool, beautiful view, good beach, very good restaurant and nice breakfast. But the place was quite empty and needed a better cleaning in general.

Nice Hotel with very friendly staff. Wonderful view, private beach and Pool. Good Restaurant with very good prices. The onliest Problem is that you cannot swim in the sea cause there are all stones and seagrass.

อาหารอร่อย ให้อาหารครบทุกมื่้อ ทั้ง 3 วัน และให้รถกลอฟ ขับฟรี แลกกับอาหาร 1 มื่้อ รวมๆ ที่พักสะอาด อาหารอร่อย -1 ดาว หาดยังไม่ขาวเท่าไรคะ

ที่พักส่วนตัว สงบ ห้องติดทะเลแต่ไม่มีประตูหน้าต่างหันไปทางทะเล บริการแบบบ้านๆเป็นกันเอง แต่เดินไกลเวลาจะออกไปสังสรรค์หรือซื้อของข้างนอก

Das 1. Zimmer war abolut dreckig. Überall fremde Haare und Sand im Bett. Nach Beschwerde haben wir ein neues Zimmer bekommen. Dies war noch schlimmer da es komplett verschimmelt war. Es roch der muffelig und nach schimmel. Ebenfalls ist Grünzeug aus der klima bereits gewachsen. Da mein Partner Probleme mit seinem Asthma bekam wollten wir ein anderes Zimmer. Die reagierte die Rezeption bereits genervt und wollte und erst am nächsten Tag ein Zimmer geben da angeblich keins frei ist (die insel war leer aufgrund corona!)
Das dritte Zimmer ging.
Hotel an sich heruntergekommen und dreckig.
Frühstück grauenhaft.
Der Strand auf der anderen Seite ist deutlich schöner. Dieser ist völlig vermüllt.
Nicht zu empfehlen! Auf der insel gibt es deutlich schönere und preiswertere Bungalows!
Das war unser 5. Hotel in dem Urlaub und mit Abstand das schlechteste obwohl es dreimal so viel gekostet hat.

Tolles Resort, nettes Personal. Wir hatten einen beach Bungalow und waren sehr zufrieden. Haben uns einen Tag auch an der Rezeption einen roller gemietet. Alles unkompliziert.

Auf dem ersten Blick sehr schön. Jedoch darf man nicht hinter der Fassade schauen. Jeder Müll wird hinter das Resort geschmissen. Auf der anderen Straßenseite schmeißen sie ihren Dreck hin. Von Schwimmwesten bis Plastikmüll ist alles vorhanden.

We stayed there 5 nights. Hotel is located on the beach which is cleaned every day but Only in front of the resort. If you want to walk on the beach there is lot of Trash from the sea and it really destroyed this beautiful place. Also there was Trash from reconstruction next to our room which could be cleaned. Breakfast was very simple but you have a lot of choices - eggs, ham, toasts, fruits, pancakes,

We stayed in the main building wich is not so idyllic as a beachbungalow but it was worth every penny. Comfortable room, clean and spacious bathroom, good ac and tv.
Very kind and helpfull staff.

We really enjoyed our stay there. We would of stay longer if we could. We were able to relax and enjoy the beach every day. We enjoyed the restaurant and the breakfast was great.
