LITTLE EDEN Bungalows & Restaurant

This place is stunning! In this very moment I am laying in the hammock on the little balcony in front of the Bungalow. The Birds are singing while the sun goes down. I am really looking forward to relaxing 10 days at this place. The staff ist really friendly. A beautiful beach is about 300 meters from this place:). Perfect for nature loving people!

Quiet, small lodge on the edge of the forest. Had a bungalow with A/C. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Less busy in the rainy season, so only breakfast. Very courteous staff.

Idyllische Bugalow-Anlage im Wald. Die Bugalows sind sehr einfach, mit Ventilator und Moskitonetz, ausgestattet. Die Hängematte auf dem Balkon lädt zum lesen und zum relaxen ein! Tagsüber und nachts ist es sehr ruhig, bis um ca. Mitternacht eine Disco unten im Dorf die Lautsprecher aufdreht. So gegen 4.30 Uhr wird es dann wieder still.

Food is amazing must try the thai green curry and tom yum soup, but my favourite was the cheese tomato and bacon omelette with homemade toasted bread heavenly! The staff and owner are lovely I will definitely come back again with more friends. Also David invited us to some live music in a bar down the road I forgot what its was called but definitely check it out!

Beautiful place, helpful staff, and great value. David was super helpful, he's really knowledgeable of the island and had heaps of good suggestions for things to see and do.

Stayed here whilst backpacking thailand and had no major issues:)
only things i could think of were the shower pressure being very low and sometimes stopping completely.we also had a hole in our roof when we arrived but it got fixed the same day we complained
overall nice experience with friendly staff, cant complain

We stayed at Little Eden for 5 nights. It was an interesting stay. Overall, nice location and a cute place with an owner that loves to give tips and information.

Nevertheless we give this accommodation 3 stars out of 5 because of a view events that took place during our stay.

We clearly could feel that the owner is passionate about his nice place. We love to meet new people and exchange stories and experiences, but it would’ve been nice to have a two sided conversation instead of us just listening and immediately being told no when requesting such things as putting up one song after listening to your music all night.

So this is our tip to help you rebuild your place after such hard years of corona. Be open to other people, let them add something to your place to make it more special and warm.

Also when we asked the owner to arrange a taxi from the accommodation to the ferry the evening before we left, the next morning it didn’t show up. The owner called the taxi company again and suddenly the price was six times more expensive than we agreed the morning before. Hé than asked us the maximum amount we wanted to pay for the taxi, we said 200 baht. This was already twice as much than we agreed on the day before. We decided not to take this taxi but to wait for the next ferry taxi which is for free, this meant waiting an hour.

Kindly the owner picked us up 10 minutes later which shows taking good care of your guests, especially when we were not the ones at fault. He agreed with this and brought us to the ferry. The next thing is interesting though. When he dropped us of he asked us for the exact amount (200 baht) that we told him, we were willing to pay the taxi earlier when he had the company on the phone. This is not polite in the slightest way and left us with a weird feeling while boarding and leaving the beautiful island.

When charging your guests with a price higher than most accommodations that offer the same or better services, than make sure you can win this competition by kindness. We got the feeling at that moment that the owner was more into making money than in taking good care of his guests. Which can kill your business.

David is a formidable host who was helpful from beginning to end! The rooms are cosy and affordable. We are already planning on coming back next year.

Now i sit here and have my last thailand beers, if you are looking for a place where everything is possible (family connection, calm, and serenity) then this is the place to stay longer. Thanks for everything, Ramon& Corina

We had a nice stay in the cozy bungalows. Food was a little bit expensive there, but good.
Good if you want to escape the rush from bigger cities like Phnom Penh.

Not only was the service outstanding but so was the food and hospitality! Could not recommend a better place to be on this island! Also if you need anything done properly dont hesitate to ask the owner David!

Seit Jahren eine tolle Anlaufstelle auf Koh Chang. Saubere Zimmer, leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preis. Was will man mehr.

Had 6 nights here, Great place, fantastic AC bungalow, great staff, just out of range from the late night booming mucic so very peaceful.

Unfortunately very rude unprofessional staff and ants everywhere, even crawling out of the shower head spout! Never had to relocate stays before, but had to leave this place. Be weary to book a stay here, after cancelling our stay the manager (Sun) completely lost it, he cursed and insulted us numerous times on our way out embarrassing himself infront of other guests (The owner of the establishment had no issue with our cancellation and was completely understanding). But what a really horrible experience: (

Crawling with ants and completely inappropriate management.
I've never had to leave a booking before but here crossed the line. Ants across the walls are fine to deal with, we're in the jungle, but when they're coming out of the shower head and coming out of my hair an hour later, that's too much.
As we were leaving, the manager of Little Eden began swearing at us an insulating our nationality infront of my partner and other guests.

I very much enjoyed the hospitality of David. Onsite food was amazing; the air conditioning unit was able to make me happy within minutes.

I stayed at little Eden for just over a week and loved my stay. I stayed both in the fan hut bungalow and he A/C Bungalow both were very peaceful experiences. Being up on a small hill on the edge of a jungle was magical and the beach is then only a 5-10min walk so you have the best of both worlds.

The owner David is a great host, very friendly and great to talk to. The food also served from the Eden restaurant is excellent, I always like to try a few places when staying somewhere but after trying a few places I figured this was one of the best in the area.

Centrally located little Eden is also quiet enough to get away from the noice of the nightlife. The perfect place to be in the hub of things and have access to bank, nightlife, supermarket etc but without the noise.

Definitely recommend this place and hope to travel back again.

Nice little quiet hideaway resort. The only bad point was the pressure in the plumbing system. Water just treackeld out in the typical Thai way.

Sehr gemütliche, saubere Bungalows, mitten im Dschungel, dennoch nur ein paar Schritte zum Ort Lonely Beach. Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre, man ist etwas entfernt vom lauten Nachtleben des Ortes. Man kann gut funktionierende Roller leihen. Das Restaurant ist wunderschön und bietet sehr gute Qualität fürs Geld. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Deal für Gäste, die die Ruhe nahe eines belebten Ortes zu suchen. Weniger geeignet für Alleinreisende, da nicht sehr kommunikativ. Betreiber David ist hilsbereit, freundlich und kooperativ. Thank you, David!
