The rooms are okay, but not special, especially not for the price you pay. Door could not be locked very well. Pool was nice. There was no one else there, so it was very quiet. However, there was music at night because a new bar opened literally next to/in the backyard. When we went to the reception at 1 am, they closed the bar immediately and apologized so the service is good. Could store our backpacks after checkout. Location is in new town, so not close to the historical park.

Location is probably main plus for Pai Sukothai resort with it's relative close location to the centre of the town. The night market area is literally a 5 minute walk away and even closer there's a bunch of nice restaurants and bars to chill out at after a day exploring. The bus terminal is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuk tuk ride away.
Not all staff speak English, none of them when we arrived, which caused a bit of confusion as they couldn't find our booking. But a phone call sorted it all out and we were checked in.
Breakfast was good with some mornings the option to choose from a few set menu options and other mornings the same ingredients where available in buffet form (probably because they had much more people staying that night).
The room was spacious and cleaned every day, bed was comfortable and large and there was even a sofa in the room.
Only thing that isn't as glamorous as the photos anymore is the swimming pool area. Still able to swim if you want and clean just a little more run down than the pictures. Still think this is a great option if you're planning to stay in Sukothai.

Superb accommodation, centrally located with good breakfast and clean rooms. Only minor issue was shower temperature was a bit variable.

This is the perfect location if you plan on venturing out on foot. The room is clean with an option for breakfast. I recommend you take that it's well worth the price. They have a gorgeous Cafe that serves a bit of everything. The Staff actually live in an adjacent building so there is always someone available. I've added them to my favourites.

I have been coming here for years and has been consistently excellent for good and service. Staff helpful and pleasant. If you need breakfast, there is a Pai Cafe also.

We absolutely loved this resort. Swimming pool is clean and good. Very good value for the price. If you book it in booking you can have a little bit of discount.

This is a beautiful family run hotel between the morning and evening markets. We have stayed in many small hotels around Thailand and this one stood out. The owner has built a series of large, clean rooms, a relaxing pool and even a massage shop. There is a breakfast buffet you can buy that was delicious as well as a wonderful bar and restaurant at the front. We had some difficulty getting to the hotel and she went out of her way to help us. Thank you so much, Pai.

Excellent value place, centrally located and very close to the bus to the old city. The rooms are large and well appointed and the pool is excellent. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

Huge selection of meals but they were average once served. Massages were overpriced as well. Seems a bit like a tourist trap, best to have a walk around to find better value.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and people here. Will come back for sure! Enjoyed lazing by the pool and the room was always kept clean when I returned from sightseeing

Nice place next to the Chopper bar. Free wifi. Fairly quick service. Good value for money food. I had penang curry with rice for 70 Baht and a large Chang for 80 Baht. The food was good. There are celing fans to keep you cool.

The rice dishes are about 10-20 bhat over the normal prices I have seen all over this country, so I was expecting a good portion of food coming my way. I ordered the fried chicken with basil and spice over rice. To my disappointment I received enough food to fit in the palm of my hand, minus the rice, and I don't have big hands. It was the smallest portion of food I have received thus far on my travels. The taste was good, could be spicier. I left feeling hungry and on the search for food again.

Asked for Tom Kha Kai and got sour soup that wasn't spicy at all. Had to ask for spicy (pet let) and it still wasn't spicy. The portions were small (Thai pork basil on rice) and drinks are overpriced.
They probably know typical tourists (not smart backpackers and wanderers) will pay whatever price and that most white Europeans can't handle spicy food (those types ruin these countries).

You have to get a few entrees to get a fill out food, and we aren't big people.

Go across the bridge and to the left to Bridge Restaurant for far better food and prices.
