Cycling Sukhothai Bicycle Tour reviews
22 It has been a great pleasure making the sunset historical park biking tour.
The tour was great, and the guide was funny and prepared.
They came to pick up us in Lampang and bring us back to Phitsanulok for a reasonable price, being very kind and respectful of our needs.
A great team, working hard to offer the best service! Good job!
Very good English also.
Mem is the very best guide I have ever used! Cycling with her was so much fun!
Make sure to tip her well!
A nice day tour with Mem. She knows how to tell stories and historical facts. It was a great day and definitely recommended!
We had an excellent Bycicle-Tour with Mem! Half day through rice-fields and beautiful landscape. Visiting the temples of Old Sukhotai, Mem gave us a lot of interesting information - with lots of humor!
Thank you for this wonderful Tour
Before I review the tours I just want to say first that me and my boyfriend enjoyed it very much and we’ll can recommend it pretty much to everyone!
We had a very short stay at sukhotai. That’s why we decided to book a tour at bicycle. We booked the following tours:
- Countryside bicycle tour with sunset
- Historical park bicycle tour
- Elephant tour with rafting
The country side tour is definitely something if you have seen enough temples and want to know and see more about a different side of Thailand. You’ll see nice rice fields and you’ll get to know more about farming. But also you’ll see how rice whiskey is made, you’ll see animals like the bulls, cock’s and waterbuffaloes and you’ll bike along the river. This tour had a very laid back feeling and it was really nice to do something less ‘touristy’.
The historical park tour is definitely a must do as a tourist. You’ll see the highlights of the park at a relaxed pace.
The elephant tour with rafting was the best in my opinion. It was great to see, touch and feed the elephants knowing that they are treated well at the sanctuary. After the elephants the rafting was an exiting experience. I felt safe the whole trip, even when we went down a 2-3 meter waterfall.
During these trips we were well fed and looked after. I really want to thank Koi, Mem, Road and Ronny for taking such well care of us. Their hospitality and kindness was a finishing touch to our experience.
We did an "evening countryside sunset tour" with Cycling Sukhothai, which allowed us to discover the countryside and the rice fields around the city.
More than a ride, Cycling Sukhothai offers a real immersion in the life of the rice fields, sparking meetings with simple and authentic inhabitants.
Very nice home. Very good organization with departure and return to the hotel. Bikes in new condition.
We loved this experience.
We took the excursion to the temples of Sukhothai with Mem as a guide, a very nice experience for our family of 4 (a teenager and a 10 year old boy) everyone was delighted with the walk and the discoveries on these remnants of temples 700 years old. Mem provided very good advice for the rest of our stay and recommended a magnificent excursion with rafting to Nam Khek and a visit to the Phu Hin Rong Kla national park near Pitsanulok with Ronny where we also spent a fabulous day.
I loved this experience, our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us many things! Absolutely recommended!
We booked the countryside tour and had a blast! Mem (the guide) was super nice and knew so many people - all very friendly. We learned much about Thai culture.
Local food, snacks and drinks (also lots of water) were included.
Thanks a lot!
Best way to visit Sukothai’s historical park, countryside and the local community. Mem, our guide, rules!:)
We did 3 family tours in 3 days. All very good guides, great bikes and excellent routes. Would 100% recommend to anyone in Sukhothai
Today we did the country side tour with guide Koi. It was really crazy. About rural Thailand. Small villages, farms, rice fields and local market. The care with food, drinks and snacks was really good. All inclusive. Koi is a pleasant and knowledgeable guide.
Hello, a few words to congratulate Ronny following our brief meeting.
We only knew him on the transport part (between the station and the Charm), but what a pleasure to know an expatriate person, competent, kind, attentive to each question and giving a lot of advice.
Convinced that by bike or by car, the person remains the same, I can only advise to try the adventure, on 2 or 4 wheels!
Many thanks to you, and greetings from Alexandre, Loïs and Emy.
Looking forward to seeing you again one day!
Lovely tour of Historical Sukhothai. Pick up and drop off at hotel is provided. The route was well planned and we hit up all the major sites. Mem was a great tour guide, she was detailed and comprehensive in explaining the history, and was also very humorous. The bikes were well maintained and the lunch was delicious! Highly recommend.
We had an extremely nice and well-organized bike tour. Cycling Sukhothai was also able to spontaneously save the fact that our tour operator booked the wrong day and Mem simply arrived a day later. Thank you for that! Fresh fruit and plenty of cold drinks were also organized. The bikes were in top condition, there were even helmets and a tandem bike for our little one. We all found it very successful, including the children.
I took the full day historical park tour with guide Mem. Punctual pick up from hotel and start. Through the backstreets to the park, learned about pottery and ceramics on the way, met local farmers and were given much information by our guide, delivered with humour.
The day was fantastic, saw all the temples, had delicious food and snacks and Mem was just brilliant. The bicycles were also top quality, a great day, don't hesitate to book.
Did a Half Day tour in the countryside. We were riding through little streets and rice fields, with our guide Koi stopping by different small local businesses/farms and explaining how everything gets done and we even got to try most of the goods produced there! The bikes were super comfy, the lunch afterwards also very good. Thank you for an amazing day! Hope to come back for more.
Totally worth it! Mem was amazing and did a great job of getting a lot of history across with a few laughs in between. We weren't really expecting it, but this was probably the best day of our three week trip so far. Included bike hire, guide, park entrance tickets, coffee and snacks, full lunch, and other drinks along the way.
We had a truly amazing tour with Mem! She showed us the beautiful temples and sunset, while telling us more about Thai history and Thai life. The bikes were very good and along the way we were provided with some snacks and drinks. Would definitely recommend!
We did the ride for the sunset in the new Sukhothai (2h30-3h by bike). With our Koï guide who was great! Visit rice fields, tobacco fields, a fighting cock farm and a Buddhist festival in the city and its market. We loved our guide and the city! Really to do!
