Authentic Indian Delight at Flavours of India, Thailand

In my quest for Indian cuisine in Thailand, I stumbled upon the gem that is Flavours of India. Despite its modest size, the restaurant boasts charming decor that sets the stage for a delightful culinary experience.

What caught my attention was the multicultural aspect of the staff – hailing from Burma yet proficient in fluent Hindi. Their warmth and hospitality added a personal touch to the dining experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The true star of the show, however, was the food. Every dish served at Flavours of India exuded the authentic taste of Indian cuisine. From the aromatic spices to the rich flavors, it was a true culinary journey reminiscent of the flavors back home.

The small yet tastefully decorated space, coupled with the friendly staff and the authentic taste of India, made my visit to Flavours of India a memorable one. If you find yourself in Thailand craving the true essence of Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit.

ร้านอยู่ใกล้ BTS การเดินทางสะดวก มีที่จอดรถ หลังร้าน แต่เสียอยู่ตรงที่ พนักงาน ในร้านไปนั่งปอก หัวหอมมันฝรั่งอยู่ บรรยากาศแบบ อินเดีย ภายในร้าน ก็ได้บรรยากาศแบบอินเดีย เปิดเพลงอินเดียด้วย พนักงานก็เป็นคนอินเดีย อาหาร สั่งไปแล้วค่อนข้างช้ากว่าจะได้ ขนาดเราไปตอน 14: 00 น แล้ว
แนะนำว่าอย่าไปตอนหิว เพราะกว่าจะได้มาแต่ละอย่าง ช้ามากโดยเฉพาะชาร้อน ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งแรกที่เราอยากกินเมื่อไปถึง
ที่อร่อยเลยคือ นาน กินเพลินมาก
และข้าวหมกอินเดีย อร่อย portion ใหญ่ เหมาะสำหรับทาน 2 คน
อาหารอย่างอื่นก็อร่อยใช้ได้ ไม่มีที่ติ
และ ส่วนซาโมซ่าร้านนี้ให้เนื้อแน่นมาก

จัดว่าเป็นร้านอาหาร อินเดียที่รสชาติถูกปากคนไทยอย่างเราเลย

สุดท้าย เราไม่อยากบอกตอนที่อยุ่ที่ร้านเพราะกลัวเสียบรรยากาศตอนกิน ขอติเรื่องความสะอาดของ แก้วน้ำ ที่มีลักษณะผิวขรุขระมีราอยู่ในนั้นเพราะว่าล้างไม่ถึง
และ หางช้อนคนพลาสติกที่ใส่มาในเครื่องดื่มโยเกิร์ตปั่น ก็ล้างไม่สะอาด ควรแนะนำว่าให้เลือกใช้ แบบที่ใช้แล้วทิ้งหรือไม่ก็ไม่ต้องใส่มาจะดีกว่า หรือเลือกช้อนคนจากวัสดุอื่น

ถ้าถามว่าจะกลับมาที่นี่อีกไหม
ตอบเลยว่ากลับมาค่ะเพราะ อร่อย

My first and last time here. Waited for 1 hour just to get the food that tasted so bland. Too sweet and the curry lack thickness. Never again. Also I don't understand why there are so many 5-star reviews below.

Taste authentic, local, and homey cozy. The price is affordable, I think it’s a good place to visit if you just want to eat Indian food (not a place for dates).

My favorite dishes here are:

You're not spoilt for choice in this part of Bangkok for Indian restaurants but we always enjoy going here. Good food, pleasant service and reasonably priced.

Food was standard - as good as I'd expect. Took a looonnngg time to arrive, even with only one other table requiring service. Pleasant staff.

ตอนไปสั่งไว้หลายอย่าง แต่พนักงานจดไม่ครบ เลยไม่ได้กินอย่างที่ตั้งใจไปกินเลย
นั่งรอนานมากเพราะคิดว่ายังไม่ครบ พอไปถามอีกทีได้ครบแล้ว แต่ในบิลไม่มี butter chicken (ทีแรกคิดว่าขาด mutton korma เพราะสั่ง butter chicken อันแรกๆเลย ไม่น่าพลาดได้) ก็เลยเพิ่งรู้ว่าจดไม่ครบ ทำให้ต้องยกเลิกออเดอร์เพราะรอมาเกือบ 2 ชม. แล้ว

แต่ก็โอเค แม่บอกชอบ mutton korma มาก แต่สำหรับเราไม่โอเคมากๆเลย เพราะอุตส่าพาผู้ใหญ่ไปกินถึงที่ร้าน แต่มารู้ที่หลังว่าเมนูที่สั่งจดไม่ครบแบบนี้ มันทำให้เรากับผู้ใหญ่เขารอนานมากเลย

สรุปที่สั่งไปแล้วได้กินคือ
- mutton korma
- chicken tikka masala
- butter naan
- garlic naan
- pani puri
- hot Indian tea
- mango lassi

เสียใจมากกก จริงๆ ตั้งใจไปกิน butter chicken ด้วย เพราะพาทั้งน้อง พ่อแม่ไป กะว่ากินได้ทั้งเด็กและผู้ใหญ่ แต่ไม่ได้กินเลย

เป็นประสบการณ์กินอาหารอินเดียรอบแรกของเรา ไปกับพี่สาวซึ่งเคยกินแล้วเลยให้พี่เป็นคนสั่งเมนูทั้งหมด ซึ่งจำชื่อเมนูไม่ได้ 555 แต่ที่จำได้คือ Garlic Naanโคตรอร่อย แบบอร่อยมาก ตัวแกงที่กินด้วยก็เข้ากันและรสชาติดี อาจจะรู้สึกมันๆไปหน่อย ตามสไตล์อินเดีย คือกินแล้วรู้สึกมันมาก แต่ถ้านานๆกินทีก็อร่อยดี ราคาโอเค ไม่ได้แพงเกินไป
ปล. สั่งไปเยอะ มีเอากลับ เพราะไปกินแค่2คน

แต่แอบงงช่วงนึง กินเสร็จแล้ว แต่ยังอยากนั่งคุยอยู่กับเพื่อนที่มากินด้วยกัน คนในร้านก็เอาบิลมาให้ ทั้งที่ไม่ได้เรียกเก็บเงิร จากนั้นก็จ่ายเงินไปแบบ งงๆ แล้วพนง. คนเดิมก็มารอปิดประตูส่ง ความรู้สึกตอนนั้นเหมือนไล่ให้ออกจากร้านเลย ทั้งที่ถามแล้วว่าร้านปิดกี่โมง (ถ้าจำไม่ผิด 2-3ทุ่ม) ตอนนั้นเวลาเพิ่ง5โมงเย็น

- Indian music
- Tasty food which have decent price, priceworty, and quantity - quality.
- Friendly and supportive staff.
- Masala tea and Ras Malai are best.
- Have big area for parking your car n bike.

Fantastic food. I ordered take out and it was incredibly tasty and the delivery was quick. I will be going back to try more of the menu in person. My only order so far was a Matar Paneer and some bread.

Literally the best Indian food I think you can get in Bangkok! Great atmosphere too. And it’s quite affordable.

If you haven’t given them a chance, definitely do so. It’s worth it. Way better than that place Bivarchi and half the price.

The food is plain and tasteless.was very disappointed.stayed nearby and was happy to know there is an indian restuarant nearby.tried ordering lineman.the price for the portion is small.i ordered mutton bryani and curry fish.curry fish was tasteless.and mutton bryani only 3 pcs of small mutton.i think we customers deserve abit more for the price.overall tasteless and over price.very dissapointed.

One of the best Indian restaurants on the Island for sure. Do not miss their Amritsari Kulcha and Maa ki Dal (We drove 20 KMs the second day just to have it again). The vibe and the ambience (Bang opposite the Beach) is spectacular as well. Definitely worth a visit (or two)!

สั่งมาลองกินที่บ้าน 4เมนู มีchicken butter, mutton curry, butter nann, galic nann รสชาดค่อนข้างจืดชืด คือไม่ได้รับรู้ถึงกลิ่นเครื่องแกงต่างๆที่ควรมีอยู่ในอาหารอินเดียเลย แป้งนานเหนียวและจืด

Butter chicken คือดี นัว แกงอีกอย่างจำชื่อไม่ได้ ก็ดี เผ็ดขึ้นมาอีกนิด นานชีสก็ดี เหนียว นุ่ม หนึบ / ข้าวมีความรู้สึกเหมือนไม่สุก แข็งไปหน่อย ปานีปูริรสชาติอ่อนไปหน่อย รวมๆ ถือว่าดีค่ะ
