Decent resort in a relatively secluded bay. Dead end road, you are with the other guests (2 resorts) and that's it. The beach is beautiful, nice small stretch of bay. It's a little paradise, quiet, no noisy hanky panky. Some corals for snorkeling. The resort offers kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for free. Weekends offer some specials with BBQ and fire show. Food prices are on the higher end, portions quite big. Breakfast buffet is included and quite good. Next door resort restaurants include higher end Thai food and also an Italian restaurant (not to everyone's liking, but decent as well), all on the pricier end. Once you are at Kerala Coco, the service is really good, especially the beach deck chair set-up, umbrellas, towels etc. Don't expect much special support in getting there via email ahead of arrival, even if you are a group of ten. The slow boat ticket and transfer on island is included and they tell you the times. But once you are at the resort, they actually help to organize.
If you stay longer you might want to rent a motorcycle and explore the island. Food prices in the main village are way lower and help to recover the bike rental fee. However, for a week the options on site in the bay are sufficient.
Will definitely be back.
Good view, clean beach and water. Caffe and Restaurant good quality. Quiet zone with safety nature. I will come again.
Beautiful property.beautiful beach.friendly staff.away from the main saikeaw beach so no 7x11 or any other store around.u would be basically dependent on the three resorts on this so.prao beach for your food and drinks.even water.
Have been there for happy hour and dinner. Service is definitely better here that on the other side of the island
The staff is great and welcoming, they do everything for your pleasure!
The food is very good, especially ribs
The location of the restaurant directly opposite the sea gives you unforgettable views.
Unfortunately, the entrance to the sea have a lot of small stones and even rocks. We stayed in the room on hill, so it was hard to climb. Perhaps due to the location on a hill, but the water pressure in the pipes was low, it was rather difficult to wash.
บริการดีมากดูแลตั้งแต่ถึงท่าเรือจนส่งกลับอาหารอร่อยบรรยากาศดีมากทะเลสวยน้ำใสเงียบเหมาะกับการพักผ่อนค่ะ
I’m rating this for it’s restaurant, not the accommodation.food is really good and less expensive compared to two other resorts on AO Prao.
The curried seafood in coconut is to die for and other dishes there are also really good.
They have fire show by the restaurant staff on Friday and Saturday night. It is great and my kids were just mesmerized! Make sure you book the table if you don’t stay at the resort.
บรรยากาศดี ทะเลใส เงียบ มีความเป็นส่วนตัว การบริการประทับใจ อาหารอร่อยมากๆ รสจัดจ้านในย่านนี้ °°
Clean rooms, wonderfull views to a beautifull beach. Most of the staff are friendly and basic english talkers, some arent has friendly and strugle with english. The breakfast its ok. Resort is quiet.
The restaurant is interesting with good food and raisonnable price.
The view is stunning.
It is one of my favourite restaurant in Koh Samet
Lima Coco
I have never experienced so amazing service. Guys are multitasking (bartenders, cleaners, carriers and unbelievable fire show men) they are so helpful, respectful, fast and always smiling. The room, food and beach are also great. Totally recommend.
A* for service! Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. The resort's restaurant has fantastic Thai food (I am Thai). The sunset view is great from ao prao beach. Loved the beach front access and resort deck chairs. Didn't have to worry about my belongings while i went for a dip in the sea. The rooms are a bit worn and older but are comfortable and clean.
The central location in the bay means that the resort's beach had less chunky/pebbly sand compared to the other resorts on either end. Combined with the fact that it's the cheapest of 3 resorts in the bay, it was really great value for money.
Great place for a quiet retreat, especially compared to the options on sai kaew beach. If you're in the mood for livelier atmosphere, you can also just hop on the island taxis and head towards the party (15 mins ride away).
The resort has its own ferry service from chokkrisada pier. The service is reasonably priced and leaves on time, delivering you straight to ao prao bay. Made a big difference to previous experiences of queing for the main ferries which had me waiting for over an hour past advertised departure times.
All in all, would highly recommend and re-visit.
Beautiful and quiet place. Quality of service is highly recommended. Sunset, clear water.food affordable and good. So I recommend. For family trip or 1 night Everything is possible
We sat down for 5 minute sand we were completely ignored. At least 3 or 4 waiters with nothing to do and they even didnt look at us. Finally we step out to go to another restaurant
Clean room. Staff is friendly and the facilities are kept clean and usable. Food menu is geared towards western but the Thai menu is pretty good. Had lunch here and it didn't disappoint except maybe Paad Thai. Take room S1 for room with bath tub (which leaks. Hence, can't use), next to pool and a view of the sea when you wake up. It has its own private beach with beach chairs. Prices are reasonable. Other rooms are located on an incline as the resort is built on a hill slope.
Pretty good hotel for lovely weekend!
Exellent staff, tasty food in the Lima restaurant! (A bit expensive). Room does not look luxury, but sea and beach are compensating everything
Good location but old infrastructure. The room is small for four adults. Fortunately, fair price.
Beautiful resort, tucked among the slightly hilly terrain of the Koh Samet island. We had a sea view room from where we could see the vast expanse of the sea in front of us.beautiful sight to wake up to. The restaurant is also good but the Thai food options are better than the other Western/continental options. The beach is also serene without too many tourists or outsiders around, you get that private beach feel. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent. I would definitely go back there again.
