1st diving cruise. A total success.

Despite my little diving experience compared to all the other participants, the whole team was attentive, caring and professional. I always felt completely safe.

A BLACK WATER discipline that I had never heard of, the ultimate experience!

The boat is very well designed, there are plenty of spaces, you never feel cramped, there is no imposed promiscuity.it is spacious and allows you to enjoy the sea when you are not diving.

Thank you and Bravo to Franck and Camille for orchestrating a harmonious cohabitation - not easy to agree with all these little people of divers and staff - You do it wonderfully!

As for the food, delicious, everything is very good, varied and elaborate. Limit too much. I who thought I would lose kilos, it's not won)

I had a dream week. Time has, for me, stopped. I came home with my batteries fully charged.

My first live aboard trip and it was fantastic! The boat is comfortable, there is a much appreciated photo room and the food was good. I am especially grateful for the vegetarian choices! Franck and the team put a lot of thought into the itinerary and for being back to Myanmar after 3 years of covid pause, it was really exciting. The spontaneous trips to land (beach and temple landing) was a great surprise and the guests loved it.
The ship crew consisted of the friendliest and most attentive people I’ve met in a long time. They are a very big part of making the trip exceptional!
The only thing which did not live up to the expectations was our Dive Guide. Sadly the only person on the boat, who had a hard time returning a smile and who wasn’t very engaging in the dives. That opinion was shared by his whole group and sadly took away joy from the experience.
There was also a questionable decision in taking one claustrophobic diver (who mentioned his concerns beforehand) into an actual very narrow cave.

Other than that a fantastic trip I can recommend to anyone!

Everything was perfect: the organization, the staff (who did a fantastic job), the dives and their supervision (a big thank you to James!) the different areas of the boat (including the room for the cameras which is well equipped, and also the Master cabin in which we were upgraded following a cancellation), the food (very good and in more than sufficient quantity), and the program (Similan and Surin liveaboard). Some dive sites are worthy of Raja Ampat. A big thank you to Franck and his team for their professionalism and kindness. I recommend without hesitation!

Amazing locations but underwhelming liveaboard.

This was my third time diving liveaboard in Similan Islands, each with different boats. The Smiling Seahorse is bottom of the list so far.

The staffs were great and the dive sites were awesome, but i believe the quality of food and room is equally important for the liveaboard.

The food wasn't so good, salty and too simple. The room in the front smelled like gas. The dive master seemed to have difficulty. He ran out of air before anyone else in the team within 45 minutes.

I cannot recommend this LiveAboard enough! I just returned from the 4D/4N LiveAboard in the Andaman Sea and everything was perfection. From the minute you are on board Franck and the crew make you feel safe and comfortable. The entire trip was very well organized from the layout of the boat, dive schedule, dive groups, safety protocols, food, guest responsibilities, and the crew did not hesitate to help. You will be happy you chose the Smiling Seahorse!

Great guys. I can fully recommend the smiling sea horse. Food and service was awesome on board. When you dive everybody tries to do their best, so you can enjoy your dives. What makes it even better is the passion they have for diving and spread tbat on board. It starts by the owner Frank and down the whole team and crew. Definetly coming back for the Burma trip!

We just finished a 4 days liveaboard trip with The Smiling Seahorse. Everything was great from the beginning to the end but the best thing was the staff. All of them were keen to give us a great service in a very natural way. The guides made us really enjoy the dives and they were always ready to help us if needed. They were very professionals at swowing us everything we did not see by ourself during the dives (if it is very tiny tiny creatures and you don't see them just make the sign ok ;-) ). I highly recommande The Smiling Seahorse.

The BEST liveaboard experience yet! The Smiling Seahorse is well run and well staffed. With a dedicated camera room, photographers can rest assured that their equipment will be safe from damage and fully charged up for their next dive. The dive guides ask their divers what they are most interested in seeing and make it happen whenever possible. The boat is shipshape with safe walking areas and comfortable cabins. The food was so delicious and we were offered many choices. There was always something suitable for everyone’s palate. We cannot recommend this liveaboard more highly and would dive with them in a heartbeat if we get the chance. Thank you Frank, Camile, James, Julien, Joon, Min and all the crew for making one of our “bucket list” dive destinations a wonderful and memorable experience!

Great crew, chilled vibes, good food and great diving. Would totally recommend Franck, his team and the smiling seahorse to other divers. We did a 7 day trip starting in Khao Lak and ending at Phuket.

We had a wonderful time on board of the Smiling Seahorse! Frank and his team were amazing, the helpers also very friendly and helpful during our stay. The food is delicious, we sank more then we dived at the end. We saw beautiful things during our vacation, we even met two whale sharks! I highly recommend this boat to dive, don't hesitate!

I just got certified a week ago and this boat was recommended by my instructor. I was the only new diver on the boat, but the guide gave me extra attention to make sure I was safe and comfortable, and she went above and beyond to help me improve my skills and to show me cool fish. Everyone was extremely supportive. The crew is incredible, anticipating your every need. The rooms were comfy. The food was plentiful. I hope to return and dive with them again one day!

Had an amazing time on the smiling seahorse live_board. Frank, the owner, his wife, and their lovely hard-working staff were extremely accommodating and made the trip go pleasantly smooth from start to finish. The boat is great. Roomy, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out to maximize comfort. Food was excellent and plentiful. Unlimited refreshments and snacks at your fingertips. Friendly and competent staff/boat crew that take care of everything for you so I felt very pampered. I would definitely dive with them again. Superb service and experience!

I’m so happy to have done my first live aboard with Franck and Camille on the Smiling Seahorse! Each dive was unique and spectacular, and I particularly enjoyed the sunset and black water dives. As an aspiring underwater photographer, I greatly appreciated Franck’s advice and critique —there is no one better suited than him to help me get the best underwater shots! I also appreciated having a dedicated space on board to set up and store my camera gear.

I dove in a group of four with P’It as our lead. She was an amazing guide with awesome, hand-drawn graphics of each dive site. The dive deck was well-equipt and spacious, with a wonderful boat crew to assist as needed.

This was my first time diving in the Andaman, but I will definitely be back! I can’t stop thinking about how cool the black water dive was — I need to go again!

My time aboard the Smiling Seahorse was nothing short of amazing The ship itself was clean and spacious, with lots of comfortable places to relax after each dive. My team's guide, P'It, was knowledgeable and friendly, with a keen eye for finding the tiniest of creatures. Everything on the boat was done efficiently - the only thing you need to worry about as a diver is eating, sleeping and diving

Franck and Camille are kind and compassionate hosts with an abundant knowledge of diving the Andaman (and some seriously impressive photography skills!) All other boat crew were equally helpful and kind.

I'm already looking forward to my next trip ;)

Unfortunately I was unable to join the liveaboard trip that I wanted to, but Camille gave 5 star service with regards to a organising a personalised dive trip for me! Hopefully we cross paths in the future!

Went on my first liveaboard to the Surin & Similan islands with the Smiling Seahorse in October 2021. I had an amazing time with Franck, Cami, the crew and other passengers! All of the dive guides are super knowledgeable of the dive sites, respectful of marine life, and simply fun to be around (special shout-out to my girl It!). The boat is well-equipped, comfortable and has plenty of space to relax and hang with other divers. 10/10 you need to take this trip!

Amazing Liveaboard

We did 2 liveaboards on this boat in 15 days, that already says a lot about the super team, the very comfortable boat and the great atmosphere on board.
Franck, Camille and the crew are spending a lot of energy to let you enjoy this amazing cruise.
Nothing more to say than "dive, eat, sleep"and for sure enjoy! A real oxygen breathing and not only in the tank
