The bungalows are very well kept, and have all you need, not to mention that the beds are super comfortable.
Top notch scooters, perfectly maintained, that can be rented at competitive prices.
Another great commodity is the travel agents desk, day trips, activities, and transfers can be booked on site making your stay a complete no brainer.
And last but not the least the restaurant, great food served from dawn to dusk, fresh seafood, great breakfasts, and an excellent selection of beverages.

We stayed there for a week with our toddler and absolutely loved it! Rooms are nice with a little terrace and hammock, beautiful greenery around. Staff is super friendly and Todd, the owner super helpful - organised our trip back, a scooter for the whole week, laundry and even got a babysitter for our son so we could go to the famous hippy bar which is just 5min walk away. It’s the best beach to swim on the island, also for kids, and there is quite a bit of shade at the beach.sunset is stunning.food is also nice and quite a variety! Ah, and they offer free drinking water and bottles to refill to reduce plastic!

This little gem is such a piece of heaven, it makes you doubt if you should even tell your friends about it…. From an impeccable and beyond helpful host to beautiful bungalows and beach, as well as the legendary Hippie Bar a 5 minute walk away, This is one of those very rare places that truly rules…

If you want to really relax, this is the right place for you.
Everything was very calm, such a nice, deeply relaxed owner.
Our bungalow is wonderful, there is a hammock, mosquito nets in the right places, loungers are further forward with a wonderful view of the sea.
The whole atmosphere is very relaxed, there is a lot of green and the hornbills flutter towards the neighboring property, very cute to look at.
The people who work here are very accommodating and friendly, without being annoying. If you lie down on the loungers again later in the evening, less than five minutes later someone is there to ask if you would like another cushion, very attentive and as unobtrusive as possible.
The complex enchants you as soon as you enter it, everything is in tip-top shape, the flowers are blooming, everything is green and quiet.
The owner, thanks to you, Todd, tries to do everything possible to get the best possible result, even when rebooking.
We are in love with the Starlight and will definitely be coming back next year

A beautiful garden oasis, I was there in the low season, discounted rates. My room over looked the beach. The couple running the place were great hosts

The most wonderful place to stay, with lovely staff who will make sure you're accommodated with whatever you need transport or activity wise.

Beach side restaurant (open most of the day) makes for a nice vibe with other guests. Delicious menu too.

The coolest bar on the island, the Hippie Bar, is at walking distance. Next door restaurant Knock Knock I found to be the best on the island.

No AC, and showers are cold, but that's the same pretty much everywhere on Koh Phayam.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Koh Payam at the Starlight Resort for 3 days, and I cannot recommend it enough. It's a really nice location on the beachfront, with friendly and accommodating owners, and with clean and well maintained bungalows, all for a good price. I recommend staying here, and am already planning to come back and stay in the future.

Ko Phayam was the first place in Thailand I visited. I´ll never regret that.
The host was very friendly and caring. The food was delicious and on point. The Resort was always cleaned up and the wather was unimaginably beautiful. Thank u.

If you're looking for a charming resort catering to Western tourists on North Buffalo Bay this one is for you. The owner is very kind and always strives to provide the best service.

The place was cozy, electric was good 24 Hrs, the owner and stuff were very nice and helpful for everything. Location was on a really beautiful and peaceful beach with a lovely ocean & sunset view. There’s a very cool bar (right now still closed during the pandemic situation) just next door 2 minutes by walk. Lovely place ever!

I came here in the Covid-19 situation. It is a quiet place. The room has no refrigerator, no water heater also no air condition. However the weather is not too hot. You can leave with just one fan. No breakfast include but you can buy from resort.

Clean Fan Room but very cool at night. Best beach on the island. Staff are awesome and the food is good and priced fair. I highly recommend Starlight.

A very nice dinner tonight. Red curry pork, Pad Thai Chicken and vegetables in garlic and oyster sauce. Excellent service, nice drinks and clean and nice decor. The owner came around and spoke with all the customers.
