Ranong Pier (to Koh Chang and Koh Payam)

Speed boat leaves to Ranong and arrives here IF the tide permits. At low tide, you'll be dropped off at the main pier, which is a disaster area. Here's a fee of 5THB if you want to use the toilet, not for going on the pier. Speed boat personell asks you to wait a bit to the side before boarding and they'll call on you, which then is ignored by some tourists, and you're at the back of the queue, if you're interested in picking a seating side of the boat. Regardless of where you sit on the speed boat, BRING EARPLUGS, as it's stupid loud, especially in the back.

สถานที่พอใช้ได้ไม่ทรุดโทรมจนเกินไป ขึ้นเรือง่ายไม่ลำบาก คนจัดคิวที่ท่าเรือทำได้ดีไปช่วงเทศกาลคนเยอะไม่เจอมั่วคิว มีห้องน้ำให้บริการ (คุณป้าคนดูแลน่ารักครับไปเข้าห้องน้ำแกเยอะๆนะช่วยค่าน้ำยาทำความสะอาดแก) ใครไปรอเรือนานไปนั่งกินกาแฟที่คาเฟ่ตรงทางเข้าได้ครับหลบร้อน

Easy to find and parking was cheap at q00 baht per day. The smell was the only negative but got to expect this for a pier

This place unfortunately is always very dirty and the toilets are broken from at least 10 years. Nobody takes care and the owners of the small restaurants around are all rude and ready to cheat you. This is very sad because Koh Phayam is very beautiful and this is the only pier to reach the island. I suggest to everybody to stay there the minimum possible avoiding everything and going as soon as possible to Koh Phayam!

นั่งรถไม่จากสนามบินมาลง เขาจอดที่ท่าเรือข้างๆ แต่ตอนนั้นที่โรงแรมจองให้ ยังไม่ถึงเวลา เลยเดินออกมากินข้าว แล้วเห็นว่ามีอีกท่านึง. เลยคิดว่าฝั่งนั้นน่าจะดีลกับคนขับรถไม้ไว้ให้มาส่งที่นี่

Well organized pier. The speedboat cost 350bth and takes 30-40min to Koh Phayam. You also get taxis to the airport there. The taxi to the airport need 30 min and cost 150-200 per person.

Simple pier for those traveling to Koh Payam and Koh Chang. There are two types of boats with different pricing. The Slow Boat which I believe takes about 2.5 hours to Payam and the fast boat which shaves about an hour off this time. Obviously both have different schedules and pricing. Good idea to get a "heads up" on the departure times so you can factor your travel times to the pier from wherever you are coming from.

ควรปรับปรุงเรื่องสถานที่รอ ให้มีความสากลมากขึ้น ควรมี infomation สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ (คนขายตั๋วไม่ค่อยอธิบาย/ไม่พยายามอธิบายกับชาวต่างชาติ มีการสื่อสารผิด นทท ตกเรือ ทางเราจึงอาสาเข้าไปช่วยคุย)

นำรถยนต์เลี้ยวซ้ายเข้าไปตามทางจะมีที่รับฝากรถ เก็บคันละ 100 ต่อ 1 คืน ที่นี่จะมีตั๋วเรือสปีดโบท กับเรือหางยาวขายซึ่งเรือจะออกเกือบทุกชั่วโมงถ้ามีลูกค้ามากจะเพิ่มการเดินเรืออีก (สปีดโบท) เพราะราคาค่าโดยสารจะแพงกว่าด้วย และจะมีการแนะนำที่พักในเกาะพยามถ้าสนใจก็จะจองที่พักให้พร้อม ซึ่งแนะนำว่าให้นักท่องเที่ยวไปถึงเช่ารถใอเตอร์ไซที่มีที่ท่าเรือฝั่งโน้นไปหาดูเองจะดีกว่าแล้วจะมีสามล้อพ่วงนำไปส่งที่ท่าเรือซึ่งมีระยะทางใกล้ๆ ถ้าพักสกายบลูจะเดินจากท่าเรือถึงเพราะใกล้สุดและสวยสุดแพงสุดจะมีบริการดีสุดอาจมีรถหรือพนักงานคอยบริการ ถนนในเกาะราดซีเมนต์แคบๆสำหรับมอไซต์ขี่สวนกันได้ซ้ายขวาเท่านั้น ไม่มีถนนรอบเกาะแต่จะมีแบบเส้นทางไปแต่ละจุดของชายหาดและที่พัก

เป็นรีสอร์ทที่สวยงามมากๆ พนักงานบริการดีเยี่ยม อาหารอร่อยสมราคา โชคดีมากๆวันที่ไปฝนไม่ตก มีโอกาสจะกลับไปเที่ยวอีกแน่นอนคะ

Ein ganz normaler Fährhafen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit um was zu essen und zu trinken während man wartet. Sonst nichts besonderes.

Not much at the pier. Coffee at the small shop opposite of the ticket "counter" is too strong for my taste and too expensive for a paper cup, 50 baht.

Like other port. Normal boat and speed boat can take you to Phayam and Chang Island. But if you waitin for boat and also have a free time. You have to visit one restaurant at port. They served breakfast shake and original thai food. Everything is delicious here. Everyone need to try. Really. If you wanna get cheaper boat, you need to contact with Jay from himmapan resort at koh phayam. He have boat for 270 baht and also the best place to stay for me ;)
