Lazy hut reviews
26 Koh Phayam's Lazy Hut is the last frontier in Thailand. Reminds me of Koh Tao 20 years ago. The place is run by some of the nicest people you would want to meet. The food is some of the best on the island and huge portions. Bungalows are good and if you want some extra luxury there are real nice rooms.
Lazy hut is a simple place offering the very best of everything. It is truly lazy here, and one of the last places in Thailand to offer such a warm welcome!

I personally had a disappointing experience with Lazy Hut.
The place itself is nice, clean enough and the bungalows are well made; but the owner of the place made us feel uncomfortable always asking and talking about money.
Do not pay in advance, after a couple of days we discovered other places which could give us the same accomodation for half the price, and when we decided to check out from here some days earlier we didn't got all the money back.
Restaurant is good, little bit more expensive than some others in the island but is understandable, it's a resort. However sometimes we got charged extra money from the price written in the menu.
Also, don't rent a motorcycle here, we got a old Filano full of rust with defective brakes, defective gas and speed indicator and empty tank while for the same price we could get a new Click125 at the pier.
The rest of the staff was friendly enough, the place is in a good location but far from every else bar/restaurant (had to drive 20 minutes in the jungle in the night before to get there, kind of scary)
I wouldn't come back.
Excellent food and very friendly staff. Wife had Pad Thai which she said was the best she had had so far (out of 5 or 6). I had the glass noodle and pork salad which was great, and both very reasonably priced. The Mai Thais were also good, and standard price of 150. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed, and located right next to the beach. A good spot to watch the sun set, and well lit for when it gets dark. Also, easily accessible from the Southern road to Long Beach.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the island life. Amazing beach right in front of the restaurant!
Shower wasn't cleaned before we came and the mosquito net was ripped in a lot of places. But nothing too bad.
Wifi was bad (but hey, that's not why you go to places like this).
Food was ok, price a bit high but still ok.
