If you're looking for some fun outings to do, we rented a boat for 5,000 baht and it was a great snorkeling adventure and they also took us to a private beach. We also went to "monkey monument" on the military base and got to feed the monkeys and even saw a little golden baby monkey. The Monkeys are very gentle, and will eat out of your hand or even let you pet them. There's also a nice aquarium just down the road.

As ever, so relaxing and restful here at the Pines. Listening to the waves on the shore, especially at night is a perfect lullaby for sleep. Lovely breezes to counter the heat, with lots of shade to rest under during the zenith of the heat. Rustic but very comfortable. Lots to do in the compound without really having to go far.
