The hosts are really warm and very helpful.

The meals are VERY generous and delicious (market products + cooked on request).

The view from the terrace (common area) is magnificent. Not to mention the exceptional spectacle offered at dinner time with the sunset.

The boat tour is truly a must, which offers you a ride surrounded by many species of birds and an end to the ride at sunset.

Many services (scooter rental, taxi and others) are offered at very attractive prices and great flexibility.

A quiet place, magnificent landscape, ideal for resting in the middle of the songs of birds. A morning walk among the blooming lotuses. Excellent service, discreet and attentive. And excellent local cuisine. I recommend to all those who love nature, simplicity and authenticity. Last detail: a very good wifi connection. What more?

One thing must do boat trip on the lotus lake in April/May

Its not about the high quality rooms, but the experience from being in Lung cha home stay. Its a little hotel that is surrounded by lilypads and mountains. Breathtaking view in the morning and a low lighting environment means its perfect to gaze.

Although the road here is a bit difficult, it is still worth it after arriving here. The warm hospitality of the host makes me feel warm. Living here is integrated with nature. When you open the curtains, you will see the lotus pond. It's a bit regretful that we didn't catch up with the lotus blooming season this time, but we saw the vast mountains and rivers on the boat. The breakfast was really rich, even for one person. It's a pity that we ate too much and didn't get to taste the dinner. Everyone has If you have the chance, you must come here to enjoy the lotus sea up close.

This place is an amazing experience.

Be aware, the accommodation is basic. A fan, no aircon, no hot water, and mosquito need provide because bugs can and do absolutely get in. It's also off the beaten track, and the car/scooter ride there is tricky. That is how the family lives, so it's a true homestay. But if you aren't going to cope with that, this isn't for you.

However, if you can, you will be rewarded with tremendous hospitality from the host family, wonderful traditional food made from ingredients they grow and fish themselves (including Lotus stems from the lake), and breathtaking views. I could have sat there all day looking out over the Lotus stands.

They offer a morning boat ride at 7am for 500 baht (for the whole boat, if there's two of you 250pp) and you get to see the sun rise over the mountains and hit the lake in amazing serenity. The local bird life is on display as well in large quantities.

They rented me a scooter too for a very reasonable price. Pretty new and functioned very well to get me to the local attractions. Phraya Nakhon cave is about 20 minutes away, which is also stunning.

But the setting is just beautiful. Wholeheartedly recommended.

NB: Google does give you the wrong directions if you come from Hua Hin. You need to go past where it tells you to turn right and take the next right, or the one after that. The local taxis don't know so you'll have to tell them too.
