It is outside of Hua Hin, you need a Taxi or car to get there. Very nice owner who also cooks. Make a reservation. Absolutely worth to make the trip!

Wonderful thai meal and italian options too.

I highly recommend you visit here, not only for the excellent food but the whole experience of being in an authentic thai home and speaking with the owner / chef.

Great ambience, service and above all, food. Very reasonably priced for freshly cooked authentic Italian food. Thai food was also on the menu. I had the Gnocchi together with Salami pizza both of which were delicious. Was avoiding the dessert until we saw the menu, Creme Brulé for me and Panna Cotta with fresh organic passion fruit straight from the garden for my friend. Excellent choices.

Sehr autentisches und gemütliches thai restaurant mit super feinem essen. Wir waren zu viert und hatten einen tollen abend mit food der jedem gscheckt hat, leckeren drinks und alles zu einem fairen Preis. Die welche scharffes essen mögen sind hier genau richtig und wenn du es nicht scharf magst, dann macht dir die küchenchefin auch ein passeneds Menu. Unbedingt den karottenkuchen probieren.

This is literally the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life. If I could give it negative stars I would. I've traveled America, Europe, and Asia and eaten in thousands of restaurants. Hin Lek Fai will always stand out as the absolute worst dining experience I've ever had. By a lot. The owner is rude, arrogant, impatient, unappreciative, and just plain unfriendly. The restaurant is far out of town, small, hard to find, and mosquito infested. The food is bland, overcooked, overpriced, and borderline inedible. I rarely walk away from a meal and we left at least half the food on the table. There is a chance the absolutely terrible owner had something to do with spoiling the entire experience but even if you paid me I would not go back to this restaurant. Worst. Restaurant. Ever. Terrible location, terrible food, terrible service. You could pick literally any other restaurant and have a much better meal and experience, especially in Hua Hin. Avoid at all costs.

Cozy and friendly place. A good mix of European/Italian) and Thai food. Friendly and helpful staff.

Superb food, great character running the restaurant.

The maitre'd who runs the restaurant is an amazing character, and the food is a top notch mix of Thai and Italian classics. If you are in Hua Hin, I strongly recommend checking this place out.

Be warned, though - the owner has a role about using mobile phones during the meal, do if you get caught, you may have your phone confiscated for a few courses and replaced with a wooden puzzle - it worked wonders for our dinner party and the bored 13 year old we had with us. Best conversation and laugh we have had as a family in ages.
