Banyan The Resort, Hua Hin

The compound is nice if a bit out of town. Own transport is a must. No 5 stars though as the rental villas urgently need some upgrades. Own transport is a must as there are no restaurants or any shops within walking distance. The houses are quite large with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Most furniture, kitchen utensils, tv’s and the outdoor chairs and small pool are not well maintained and/or out of date.

We Love this place, awesome people, very Clean everything, quite and near everything you need. 5 Min to the Beach and beautiful Pool. Houses big enough for 4.

Fantastic value for money, perfect for families. Safe and secure environment for kids to play, swim and make new friends. Very conveniently located for beach and hua hin attractions.

Good place to stay for relaxing holidays and forcgolfers. 5 km to the center of Hua Hin and 1 km to the beach.belongs to one of the best and famous golf club Banyan GC.

This is a favorite of everyone in our family. We've stayed here year after year and it's perfect.
We love having a kitchen to prepare meals.
Spend all day at the beautiful pool before heading into town for dinner at one of the night markets.
The property is quiet and clean and the staff are always willing to accommodate or answer any of your questions.

Lovely, peaceful, green setting I lush gardens and pasture land. We rented a 2 bed unit by one of the pools on the estate. Price was very competitive, villa was spacious and had all that a family needs. Staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. The whole place is in tune with nature. Great place to stay a month or more.

My family and I stayed within the Banyan Villas on one of their four days and three nights deal. At check-in, we were greeted very warmly and the check-in was accomplished in an expediently manner. The receptionist then escorted us to the unit and provided a walk thru of the facility seemingly in an effort to ensure we were satisfied unit. For the record, my wife and I thought the unit to be pleasantly nice and we were quite pleased as to the cleanliness of the unit. Each room within the villa was spacious and the kitchen met the minimum basic needs for anyone that might desire to cook a meal onsite. Being our first day in the area, we spent the rest of the day outside the unit and did not return until around 11: 00 pm. At approximately 10: 00 am the next morning, I unfortunately encountered a problem in the kitchen while making coffee. At the kitchen sink, the water started to backflow from the drain onto the kitchen floor. I contacted the front office and the maintenance personnel responded within a reasonable timeframe. The personnel spent about forty minutes within the unit before stating that the problem had been resolved.
Everything went well for the remainder of the day regarding the cited water issue until the next morning. After awakening the next morning, I noted no water was within the unit. Again, the front office was contacted and responded in a quick manner. Problem was resolved within about 10 minutes. About two hours later, we again had the backflow of water from the kitchen drain. The personnel sent to resolve the problem could not do so after spending about two hours within the unit. They indicated other personnel would be sent to resolve the problem. After waiting for these specialized personnel and allowing another couple hours, we were told that the problem had been resolved. We noted in order for them to resolve the problem there was disgusting backup of material within the shower. We left the unit immediately and spent the remainder of the day hanging out. We returned to the unit late and showered and went to sleep. The next morning we were informed by our daughters that the smell from their respective shower had gotten quite bad during the course of the night.
The morning after that respective night was our day of departure. I informed the front office of my displeasure and asked why weren’t we relocated to another unit in view of the numerous maintenance calls made and the inordinate number of hours expended to resolve the problem. I did not receive a satisfactory answer and was given a “thank you” for identifying the problem at the unit. I was further informed that the problem my family I endured would not happen to future occupants. I thought such a mindset being so openly stated was absolutely appalling. I quickly realized I was talking to someone with no empathy and departed the area for my return trip home.

I went there today to see a rental. Staff member wouldn't come out of the door all the way. I asked if he can speak English. Said yes. Are you busy? He says no. Wanted to see a villa for rent. Tells me they open at 9. It was 8: 20.

Classy development but the villas are quite expensive as are the monthly fees. Great golf course.

Small villa but big rooms, hugh bathroom, big swimming pool right in the back, quiet and privacy.

Breakfast have various styles to choose and taste very good. Fast services and friendly staffs.

We will stay there again.

If your taste is for beige rooms and breakfast buffets then you have plenty of choice along the main drag of Hua Hin where the international hotel chains fringe the beach as they do everywhere from Acapulco to Waikiki. Your view will be the same too, you’ll have the ocean to the front and behind your room will be a tasteful salted caramel. But five minutes down that road is something different, because five minutes further along that road is the real Hua Hin.

This is a town which grew as Thailand’s first beach resort, as a place to get away from it all without really being too far from it all. It was the choice of royalty, like Brighton in Britain or the Hamptons for regal New Yorkers. Banyan Resort embodies this spirit of Hua Hin - its hushed walkways, its lush gardens, its easy elegance make for a stay where time simply ceases to matter and the world is at arms length, like a soothing drink - there only when you need it.

The villas are well spaced and spacious, the gardens mowed and manicured with private pools shimmering between. If you have a phone and opposable thumbs then you have all you need for a an unbeatable retreat - food deliveries arrive from town in minutes, taxis too, your villa will be serviced, your laundry will return the next day. And if you fall for this Arcadia, as many before you have, the are even plots for sale to play your god and build your private paradise.

At a time like this, at any time really, who doesn’t want to press the pause button? It’s there, head south out of town for five minutes.until you stop.

Villas are quite spacious but need updating and have very badic amenities. Quite a distance from golf course.

Occupancy rate very low. Only breakfast. Nothing much nearby within walking distance. You need to book the shuttle bus to get out to the nearest shopping mall.

Private pool villa with large rooms. Suggested for family staying. Our family love this place so much. It’s quite comfy and not far from Huahin night market.

Viewed some villas for rental not impressed I came here some years ago and the site was nice and tidy, now it's aged many villas tatty unkept and the inside of the villas I viewed dirty and furnishings dated.
Dont like the situation where you can't park your car on or adjacent to the rental villa site there is a remote main car park where your car cooks in an unshaded lot.
