Baan Talay Dao Restaurant ร้านอาหารบ้านทะเลดาว

We ended up at this restaurant as a second option and oh how I wish our first choice was open. For what this restaurant charges, you will not get a lot. Seriously, there are other restaurants in the area for which you will easily get better quality, and more food. My pad see eww noodles. I felt as though I was given a plate full of broccoli (see photo) and three prawns. What a disappointment. The only redeeming aspect was probably the view which we enjoyed because we were the only ones at the restaurant.

Location is fantastic. Beautiful scenery with beach and seaside. Anyway, foods are really way under standard. Seafooods here are not fresh and frozen. We ordered 4 dishes and 3 out of 4 are definitely not fresh and we did asked staff but no answer from them only sorry.

When the price is not cheap and quality is like that so it will be no for me for second time.

Disappointed. Got a drink and was going to order lunch but while I was ordering the waitress left my table to talk to a group that came in to eat. I guess it's more important to talk to a big group than an individual customer even in the middle of an order? Drink didn't taste very good and you can get many of the same dishes for half the price just along the street out front. Was given the wrong amount of change when I paid, just 1 baht less but still annoying. It's not an air conditioned space. I guess the view of the beach is what gets people in, the restaurant itself isn't anything special. Not worth it in my opinion.

Impressive scenery, many delicious dishes, reasonable prices, highly recommend for family.

เป็นร้านหารที่ติดกับทะเล สำหรับคนที่ไม่ได้พักต้องจอดรถไว้ด้านหน้า จะมีรถกอล์ฟคอยบริการไปส่งด้านใน มีพนักงานคอยต้อนรับและนำทางไปที่ร้าน ร้านมีทั้งแบบindoor outdoor เลือกได้ตามสบาย พนักงานคอยบริการดีเยี่ยม คอยแนะนำอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม วันที่ไปคนค่อนข้างน้อย เงียบสงบดี ทานข้าวฟังเสียงคลื่นทะเล แต่แฟนบอกว่าอาหารรสชาติธรรมดา เหมือนวัตถุดิบไม่ค่อยสด แต่สเต๊กที่ผมทานก็ถือว่าดีในระดับหนึ่ง ไม่รู้ว่าแฟนผมรู้สึกไปเองหรือผมไม่รู้สึกอะไร:) โดยส่วนตัวผมประทับใจ

Went there five years ago for three weeks. We still remember it as we had a fantastic stay. All the staff were really lovely. We will book again when we have the opportunity. Stay safe.

Great Thai food and very attentive service. Try to get a table right by the edge of the beach if you can. You won't regret it!
