Topland Hotel

Simple hotel. Quite old for the stars it has. It would need a facelift. It is located next to a polygon. There is little commerce next door

Pleasant establishment to stay in, it deserves to be refreshed a little.
However everything is decent and there is a musical group every evening in the great bar area.

Stayed here for several days on the 14th floor. View out the window classic 3rd world mix of stret markets and runned down apartments. The road outside the hotel is very busy, and even on the 14th floor you can hear the motorcycles and cars, but not at an irritating sound level. I would recommend requesting a room as high as possible. I can imagine the lower level rooms would upset me with the noise intrusion.

The beds are super firm, maybe even feel the springs a little. All hotels are this way. I requested an extra comforter, 2 thick blankets, and an extra king top sheet. I placed the 2 comforters and 2 blankets under the top sheet, and slept under a top sheet. My Thai friend is not used to cooler Temps, while I'm comfortable at 24c due to lowered humidity, she needs a comforter and a blanket. At 26c where she is comfortable, I'm sweating like a pig and the air dripping with humidity. The mini-mall does not have cotton sweat pants and sweatshirt, so we will travel to "The Central" to see if we can find some.

Free breakfast is very good, yesterday omelets were prepared to order and were very good. The day before sunny-side up eggs were served.

Only one selection of unsweetened breakfast cereal and a custard danish, toast, along with pineapple, watermelon, guava. Children may be disappointed.

The pork blood soup is not what the name implies, and is very good. The main course table has Jasmine rice and 3 chafing dishes, all with spicy dishes, every day. Not being a spicy food eater, I did not eat, but my Thai friend enjoyed them.

Coffee machine has Cafe Americano, latte, expresso, and cappuccino.

Rooms are nice, showers are hot, counter-space is adequate for sundries. But no shelf in walk-in shower for bar soap and bottles. There is a 2-3 inch threshold change between room and bathroom. I would either almost stumble walking into the bathroom, and severely impact my toes or sole of my foot leaving the bathroom. I ended up placing a folded shower towel across the threshold to remind me. Curtains blackout the room well.

Small college dorm refrigerator, hair dryer, electric hot water kettle, and slippers are provided. No microwave, doesn't seem like any hotel in Thailand has a microwave or coffee machine. So may want to purchase a Styrofoam cooler and water dissolvable coffee like Folgers. My Thai friend bought a brand from Brazil, very adequate. There is a router in the room, so no wifi problems at all (room 1426).

There is a restaurant on the first floor, food and service were good. A live band plays background music nightly during meal, then cabaret type music later. We did not visit the pool or the nightclub. Parking is free, and challenging to park, very tight spaces.

There is a several-story mini-mall attached to the hotel. A small grocery store is convenient for purchasing ice etc, hotel ice is overpriced.

We had to leave one day earlier than reserved. The hotel stated there would be a 3% service charge and would take 15 days for the refund to post to my credit card.

Warning for light sleeper
First of all l woud like to compliments the front office team that they've been really kind and helpful toward us.
Unfortunately during a night it had become a proper nightmare due to hotel night club on 4th floor.
The vibration and sound were disturb our sleep even we were located on a high level.
For location is attached to old shopping mall and good walking distance to Wat Yai.

The location is very good, the facilities are clean but a bit old, the musty smell is a bit big

Very poorly soundproofed room, the buffet is not very varied and the Pad Thai is made with vermicelli pasta! The hard and saggy beds.

Ever the best place in the city. There's all here or in close distance. Good room and good breakfast. Finally, if likes, a disco at 4th floor (very cheap price)

Standard hotel with Entertainment venue below! Surrounded by lot of street food vendors at night time. Near famous temples of Pitsanulok.

สระว่ายน้ำ ก้าวเท้าลงไป อุทานเลยว่า เหี้ยยยยยย เป็นขี้โคลน ขี้นกพิราบ ทั้งบ่อ มองไปรอบๆเหมือนสระทิ้งร้าง เท้าที่เหยียบบันไดก้าวแรก รู้สึกถึงความเหนียวเป็นฟีล์มลื่นๆเคลือบที่เท้า จองมา 2 คืน บอกเลย ไม่เคยเจออะไรแบบนี้

เพิ่งมาพักครั้งแรกค่ะ ราคาใกล้ปีใหม่รับได้ค่ะ รวมอาหารเช้า เตียง2เตียง ห้องใหญ่ แอร์เย็น กาแฟซอง น้ำ2ขวด อุปกรณ์ของใช้ในห้องครบ ทิชชู่เยอะมากไปคือดีย์ค่ะ ช่วงตอนเย็นมาทานอาหารบ้านระเบียงไม้ใกล้ๆโรงแรมเลยค่ะ อาหารไม่แพง รสชาติใช้ได้ แต่อาหารออกช้าไปหน่อย แต่ก็โอเคค่ะ

ภายในห้องพักมีอุปกรณ์ครบ และใช้งานได้ดี ห้องสะอาดและไม่อึดอัด ห้องน้ำดีมีอุปกรณ์ครบครัน

Good location and your standard 4 star Hotel. Clean; Safe and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a good dinner promotion and the breakfast was very basic. Stayed one night so it was good value.
