This clay house is an (almost) off the grid BnB, 3 and half hours drive away from Chiang Mai city. A great retreat, very quiet and peaceful (except for the occasional village karaoke which you’d be able to hear, it’s farm life after all). Family-host Aunty, Uncle, Tim and Bee opened their homes, shared stories and fed us well (lots of yummy food and fruits). And learnt how to prepare papaya salad and Tom Kha Kai using local ingredients, from their garden and market.
