Mountain View Guest House

Loved our recent stay here. The owner Paul was great and very helpful. Nice sized rooms and there is also a coffee shop / restaurant on site. Lovely quiet area and lots to do locally if you hire a scooter.

Stay only a night. Is a mountain view resort in front or behind all mountain. The resort is white and blue color is what i like. Staff and owner is helpful. The price is affordable. There a cafe in front the mountain. I'll coming back to try the coffee and drink. And hike the mountain for sunrise view.

As other reviewers have wrote the rooms are very different and what you get will depend on your budget. We payed 450 baht a night for a basic room at ground level. It was clean and the bed quite comfortable. Sound insulation however is terrible - you could hear every word from the people next door.
Read that the owners were super helpful and friendly - cannot confirm that. They were okay but not the nicest people we have met and the lady did speak very bad English. We wanted to rent their scooter for ten days, had asked if it was possible, to which the answer was yes - on the day we wanted to start the ten days they told us no that was not possible… they said they could arrange another scooter from someone else but that would have been 300 baht a day which is a total rip off - all in all okay, liked the pool and the location at the bottom of the mountain, but customer service should be improved.

Yes the best. View, scenery and the owner and staff very friendly, kind. Price also affordable

Stayed here a few times now hence this overdue review.
The rooms are clean and the hosts and staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Food is good and enjoyable.
There is a pool you can use which is very refreshing.
The location is quiet and hiring of a motorcycle is available.
Definitely recommend when visiting Phatthalung

Our preferred accommodation in Phattalung, really nice rooms and area. Very peaceful but still near the center, friendly owner and staff. Rooms is very comfortable, pets allowed. Is possible to use swimming pool and rent motorbike.

Such a cool place. Simple cozy rooms with old-fashioned feel, right near the mountain, attached restaurant, outdoor seating area, all owned and designed by a British dude with an eye for architecture and ambience. Loved it.

Rooms are very different. We got a small clean room without any view, with ants, with terrible sound isolation.
This is only about our room. Other good reviews about whole guesthouse are correct.

Great quiet place to stay.
Owner is very accommodating and is very welcoming albeit not being able to speak English.

Recommended for overland travellers. With parking space for motorcycles and/or cars/jeeps.

Pool not available though (don’t know why)

Other than that, the room was clean and good for a night or two.

Nearest shop is PTT petrol station at the main road (with 7-11) about 1KM away.

Nice small hotel with the mountain next to it. We had a room with a view, some rooms doesn't. The room is clean and toilet is not smelly. You can order food and drinks in the restaurant of the hotel. The owner was very nice and friendly to us. Highly recommended
