The Sarojin

This is a beautiful, understated, hotel in a wonderful location.

The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, and the atmosphere is true “quiet luxury” - everything is immaculate, service attentive without being annoying, and the food and drinks were consistently delicious.

Would highly recommend if you want somewhere to completely relax for a few days.

A fantastic place to spend the last week of our honeymoon. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful.

We upgraded to the Jacuzzi suite and it was so worth it, the room was enormous and absolutely stunning.

The beach and pool are both beautiful and very close by to the rooms.

Every meal we had here was incredible.

Also so much wildlife is around the hotel, we saw many water monitor lizards and frogs.

The highlight had to be the boat trip on the lady Sarojin though, we went out to the similan islands to snorkel and we loved it so much we booked after trip for 2 days later! Definitely worth doing if you're visiting here. Fantastic hotel, would highly recommend

Wow. What more can I say. What an incredible hotel. Everything from check in to check out has been thought through with care and consideration for the customer.

The staff are particularly outstanding, almost to the point of Michelin star restaurant quality. Everyone was polite, friendly and very organised.

The food was delicious. We particularly liked that we could have breakfast any time up until 6pm. The special events on the beach were lovely too.

The location itself is wonderful. Very peaceful and relaxing, while not being too far away from Khao Lak town, should you want to go and explore.

They offer many different excursions and day trips, along with private dining options (we did the waterfall dining and it was incredible).

If you are looking for a great quality hotel, with exemplary service and delicious food, look no further than The Sarojin.

Had an excellent 4 day stay at the sarojin. Easily the best beach and hotel in Khao Lak. Felt like a mini amanpuri.
Staff was super kind and detail oriented, loved the all day breakfast and heartfelt service. Grounds were impeccable and there were a multitude of services and activities available to be booked through the hotel.

Will definitely be back.

My Vacay in March 2023

It was as it states on the website, a beautiful quiet boutique hotel! Adults only. Amazing! There was a nice mixture of guests and all were respectful to each other and quiet.

I went as a solo traveller as I was planning some excursions after my trip in Sri Lanka and wanted to visit the Elephants and do the whole 'glamping' trip. I had started off here, great suggestion from Destinology. Great little gym, amazing spa services and nice little beach.

Reception
Aoi/ Dao and Su thank you so much for giving me a family welcome. I was travelling solo and I did not even feel as though I was alone. The reception were exceptional. Fabulous service from check in to check out.

Amazing breakfast!
Great timing after sleeping in, hitting the gym and then heading off to the all day a la carte breakfast.
- O, Jom, Sam, Ra, Ma miew, Chai - You made my day! You knew my requests off by heart from day 2. An extremely hard working team and I am truly grateful for their company.

Spa
Benze/ Aoi/ Ta/ Nam - Fantastic massage with ayurvedic techniques. I had a great deal of pain in my lower back and hip flexors. UK clinics useless. Aoi honestly started off my healing process. It was painful but she knew exactly what to do. I spent a great deal on the Thai massages but it worked. A long way to go to heal but you have to do what YOU need to, to get better. I highly recommend this spa team. Just phenomenal.

Rooms
Honestly just lush! Very well taken care off, clean and just beautiful. I would give it 4.5 but there was no option for this. Only reason if you are on the ground floor you really could hear guests walking upstairs heavily. If you are a light sleeper it is a no no. Luckily I was disturbed only on my last 2 nights but this was not ideal for the price you pay. I have mentioned this to the manager of the hotel hopefully they will take care of this aspect. You could also hear talking and some noise from your neighbours but bearable.

Otherwise paradise. I will certainly go back but only to stay on the top floor.

Quite simply one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed at (and I’ve been writing about travel professionally for 30 years). The beach setting, the design and architecture, the beauty of the landscaping are all immensely pleasing. But really it’s the staff that make it so special (isn’t it always?) - they are gracious, warm and endlessly helpful. Staying here feels like being given a huge warm loving hug.

One of the best Hotels I have stayed in! The service of the Hotel is very excellent and the staff accomadatimg.

We were offered a room rate by email and then it was increased by 100% the next day. Very poor communication and unprofessional service, so we did not proceed with our booking.

Loved everything and appreciated every little detail about the Sarojin. The beautiful rooms, great big swimming pool, delicious food and amazing staff.

This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Thailand. The jacuzzi suite is relaxing with huge amounts of space. All the staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The location is very quiet and relaxing, no loud bars or music. Amazing white sandy beach. The trips are fab and well run. The hotel feels like a home from home. The all day breakfast makes for a relaxing holiday too. We can not wait to come back.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Sarojin. The first time was in 2014, it was great then and has actually improved. The staff and the service was excellent, staff are so friendly, the gardener hand delivered us flowers on several occasions. The food from both the Thai and Western menu was fantastic. They are currently refreshing all the rooms so the experience for all guests is the same. We will be back.

Beautiful tranquil place, the waterfall Private Dining was stunning. Staff were extremely helpful and the chef was spectacular.

Exactly what you'd expect from a 5-star resort. Awesome staff, great rooms, and gorgeous landscaping/views. Loved our stay here for our honeymoon.

Sarojin is a true eden! We stayed 4 nights for our honeymoon and we loved our stay. Very quiet boutique hotel. Perfect for couples or for a honeymoon. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast has a lot of variety. Definitely one of the best hotels we ever stayed at.
We highly recommend the private candlelit waterfall dinner. It was perfect!

We were slightly disappointed with one of the receptionists who didn't speak very good English and a bit was rude to us.

It's now 20th, 4th night. Well it knows how to rain here but when the sun is out very hot. I was taken by taxi to a beach 100 metres away and it was the best section of beach in khao lak. Storm ripping up sand but not here.

The resort is superlative as far as the grounds. Rooms are very practical. Ice everyday and fresh fruit.plunge pool like a bath.

Any resort is only as good as the staff. They are like a family and welcome you in.

To single anyone out would be an injustice! Gardeners room staff restaurant staff transport all communicate. However I must give a special mention to NICK at front of house. He is outstanding! I needed script meds, I didn't leave the resort but meds arrived. Organised a dentist (cheaper than phuket). So many other things without fuss.

Re khao lak area, 90 mins from airport on a divided highway, lots of resorts in the area. Travel agents etc need to get their minds of phuket!

Food superb.
