This is a huge property. Many rooms. Very comfortable. Linens and rooms are super clean. We had a ground floor room which gives me a feel to the grounds.
We had breakfast. Very special.
Very accessible to the sea. Just walk away. Very peaceful. I just love it.

Yes, he outside look may not be pleasing. But just look at the rooms. You will be amazed.

Price were also reasonable.

I lived alone in a 100+ room grand hotel, Once in a lifetime Unique Experience 5 Stars!

At the check in staff told me everyone will leave the Hotel after nightfall, I returned to the hotel at 19.00 and i am only one living being in the 100+ rooms hotel, no staff, no guard, no guest.or I'm actually not the anyone?

I paid 1800 THB and given such a privileges, I'm more than delighted.

Will surly returned.someday.

The hotel is having a hard time due to the corona (covid) but that the rooms are excellent, just like the extensive breakfast, and very friendly staff

Dear manager or owner

May be you never visit hotel and operating from office

We don’t know what is your process to deal with guest

This hotel is not good condition
Did not taken care assets
No manager in hotel even supervisor

Room is old and scary
No staff at all
No manger at all

Owner not take caring at all his property

Now breakfast (no words)

They don’t have bread in breakfast they don’t have chef to cook the food the server no idea what to do

A la carte food menu option for breakfast only 4- items Which they don’t have available

You will get surprise in breakfast

team should know what hotel should sell or not in the photos in the website is beautiful the reality is different

We had to check out early and the paper they gave us said the reception is open from 6 am. We waited till 7 am even we had to rush to our ferry but no one was there. I sent them an email to transfer the deposit on my credit card, they called me that they will text me and after this never answered on any email again. They basically stole my money even it was their fault that we couldn't get it when we checked our.

The staff was friendly and the room was okay. There is not much to do or est around here besides going to the beach snd surfing.

Perfect for a long stay, right in the beach.

A group of friends and I had a splendid time surfing and eating while staying at Grand South Sea. It’s located next to Memories Beach and 2-3 surf schools.

Rooms are reasonably priced and most with balconies or patios (if on ground floor). There is a wifi router in each room which meant I can work remote without any issues.

Food places around are limited, so it’s best to have a car to drive up to town for more selections (Japanese, Italian, etc).

If you’re a surfer, there aren’t any board stands out front or near the rooms. So might be annoying after a while.

This place has one of the best locations in all of Thailand across from a huge expanse of pristine beach with wide tidal plane and good surf. The hotel rooms are simple and pleasant, perfect as a home base for exploring the region or just relaxing in a very quiet corner of Khao Lak. Next door is Salt Surf cafe and shop, run by some very friendly community minded Thais and expats.

Spend three days at the resort were truly wonderful experience. Nice environment, nice whether, very friendly and nice staff and of course nice beach in front of the hotel.

The Resort is well designed and still in good conditions. The room was spacious, and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom are ok and the shower head is big, but I always found a bad smell when coming back to my room in the evening, maybe because there is not a good attention to the sewer control. The food quality is no great and the buffet provides only few choices. Overall is acceptable, but nothing special.

Don't be misled by photos advertising this hotel on the web. This hotel is in need of a serious refurbishment.
For us this was part of a 2 resort package, our first hotel being the Centara, Ao Nang.
As soon as l walked into reception and looked to the condition of the reception ceiling, I had a sinking feeling, from then everything went downhill.

Checked into ourbroom, sat on edge of bed and that broke. Looked like the previous repair had failed, so we were asked to change rooms.

The management of food within the hotel appears to be run on a very tight, we only had breakfast twice during our stay, each time it looked like there was a set amount of food that was to be put out, once that was gone that was it so after the 2nd time of asking them to fill the empty trays. We gave up and went elsewhere for breakfast. Guess the plan worked.
Lunches were no better, tried twice each time there was always something we chose that was not available, thought we would play it safe and ask for a plate of chips, only to wait 30 minutes for Staff to explain they had run out of fries.

Although the staff are very polite and enthusiastic but don't seem to have been given any training in basic hospitality.

Personally I would never recommend this hotel, anyone reading this "spend your money wisely"

Very very outstanding hotel absolutely superb staff are very welcoming the resort is clean the rooms are superb couldn't have stayed in a better place

This is a 3 star experience. The area is super calm and all about the large beach and sun. Nothing to do or be bothered by at night. Small village restaurants 1 km walk away. During daytime go to Memories Bar for sun chairs and lunch/drinks. Hotel is a bit worn and breakfast only ok. Overall a paradise without noice or luxury.
