Thai Restaurant Laanmaye (Koh Yao Yai) - Mangrove Kayaking (Cocoman) / ครัวลานไม้ เกาะยาวใหญ่

Had a very nice tour kayaking in the mangrove forest, and a delicious lunch thereafter.
The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Definitely recommend this while visiting Koh Yaoyai

If on Koh Yao islands, don't miss visiting Mr Coco at-least once, infact it should be the first thing to do on the Yai island trip. Very humble man, very entertaining and knows in and outs of mangrove ecosystem. I could not do kayaking that day but looks like he offered the kayak trip guests to a different guide.

Nevertheless the food at his restaurant was amazing, the host lady was awesome. The view point he has created atop his garden offers an amazing backdrop for your clicks

Overall it was very informative and rejoicing experience

We had a wonderful tour from Mr Coco who navigated us excellently around the mangroves in decent kayaks with a stop for refreshment, he was able to spot a huge family of monkeys and a few eagles for us too!

He took us to a local spot where monitor lizards hang out and also showed us a beautiful secluded beach where we swam for an hour, before giving us a great lunch at his wife's restaurant. All included in the price (we paid at the end).

We left at 8am and were back at the hotel for 3pm- we felt it was well worth the money.

Mr. Coco should be the first person you meet when arriving into Koh Yao Yai. He brings customer service to an entire new level! When we were unable to travel from our resort he offered to delivery food straight to our hotel room door and even brought some local Thai iced coffee from a local coffee shop along the way cause he knew we wanted to try some.

Great experience with this local family. Thai food is good and Coco the owner showed us how to open a coconut, took us to a viewpoint created by himself. Local fruits are excellent. The owner also freely rented his scooter to go to the 7eleven. Very nice people in this restaurant

Perfectly private restaurant on the island in the midst of a rubber plantation. Perfectly private. Utterly unique. It could have been on the edge of heaven for me.

Interesting and authentic. Servings are huge! There's cats running around which is kind of fun! Also, check out the viewpoint after your meal.

Lovely little restaurant that we visited as part of a boat trip to James bond island. Food was nice then we did a little trek up the hill to see a viewing point.

We hade lunch here. They are very frendly and service minded. They have a nice garden with fruits that cocoman like to show. The service is slow and the food is average. But all in all a nice place to stop and have a rest.

We had dinner here tonight, even though we arrived late, they prepared us a wonderful meal with great chicken & prawns. Thank you Coco & family!

We booked an Island hopping Tour at laanmaye Restaurant. Coco is The Owner of this restaurant and the one who organisied the tour four us (a very helpful and Sympatic guy!).
The tour was awsome, we visited 5 islands. Food and Drinks as well as fruits were provided during the tour. The price for the tour was much lower than the prices in hotels.

Nice guy mr. Coco, very friendly and great info. Native guy of the Island. Can speak english and understand well. Only guy you need to go to for anything you want to do.
