Phang-Nga Provincial Immigration Office

Came on a weds morning. I was greeted and helped by nice staff that spoke English. Filled out a couple forms, paid 1900 bhat, got visa extension, and was in and out in a short time. Almost no one there either. Great staff, service, fast, and friendly.

Be careful with overstay, just for 10 days overstay (because of Covid-19), they put me in jail for 1 week and then I got kicked out of the country last October and banned for 5 years. Even with a 500,000THB Elit Visa (still valid for 2 years lol).
They just wait to either take your money (I paid 100,000THB the an officer to get out of jail quickly) or to just kicked you out, bye Thailand, it was nice since 8 years.

Also, I went to 2 different jails in 1 week. In the second one (in Bangkok), I was with 35 foreigners/expats (some of them with thai childrens and wife or businesses) in the same situation: overstayed for few days and banned for 5 years. Becarefull!

Staff are nice but process still takes forever. They need to make process more fast and efficient. You can expect to be there at least 1 hour (if there are many people) for visa extension or re-entry permit.

You can get your driver's license here. Difficult to find this in English. Not very busy. Building 2.

Did not extend the covid visa. They didn't explain anything, they told me to go home.worst immigration office i have been to in thailand

Super nice experience. If there are people waiting try and get a number. You can go up the outside steps and wait for someone to come out and give you one. There are forms and a copy machine available. A gentleman there knew how to work it and it’s free. You need to bring passport photos. Inside a nice lady checked everything and was very patient with me as I had forgotten my hearing aids. But all went well, I hit a waterfall on the way back to Khao Lac. Oh yeah they only take credit or debit cards now because of the pandemic.

Highly professional, very good english skills. Impressed by the service provided. I wish my countries government agencies would be as efficient.

Am really not sure why this place gets good reviews. The staff are extremely condescending and I have experienced some of the WORST CORRUPTION ever in Thailand here. Beware these people are criminals!

The immigration office in PhangNga is fast, efficient and the people are very nice and try to do everything they can to assist you. The office is nicely air conditioned, they have an outside smoking area as well as all the photocopy services and forms that you may require. The only thing they do not do here is Photos, so make sure you have any photos required beforehand.

The office is rarely crowded so the long Queues at many other offices just simply do not exist here. As I mentioned the people here are very nice and helpful for those who are respectful. If you go in with attitude then good luck for you.

The office is open 8: 30 - 4: 30 and remember that if you arrive at or around 12: 00 noon you will have to wait until 1: 00 pm for service as the office shuts down for lunch.

One time more, i have to say the service there is great. T hey try to, do the job with fun. I feel, if i meet there like i.meet friends. Sure, have to pay my legal fees, but if you go to a restaurant you have to pay for your food and drinks to. Thanks to all officers i.meet today

Excellent organization, and professional, very polite staff. You even get a complementary coffee, and they will talk to you on proper English.

My favorite immigration office in Southern Thailand with friendly and helpful officers, a comfortable air-conditioned office, complimentary coffee and clean toilets. Service by the on-duty officers is fast and professional.
There's ample parking space just outside the office. A copy service is available on the premises as well.
