Pam's Restaurant & Cooking class

Tried going here 4 years ago but was closed on that day, was worth the wait, absolutely one of the great places to eat, make sure you book as can be hard to get a table, everything here is first class. And got to meet Mango.

Wonderful place. From the first moment you are captivated by the interesting interior, the attitude of the staff and the varied menu. The food is beyond praise. We had lunch twice. The unusual presentation of Massaman Curry - with a cinnamon stick and star anise - has never been seen anywhere before. Pad Thai with shrimp and fried rice with shrimp are recommended: a large number of shrimp, without the heads. We will definitely return. We wish you prosperity.

We had a delicious dinner at Pam’s Restaurant. The garden is beautiful and everyone was so friendly. The next day I took three of my children to do a cooking class which was amazing. Pam collected us from our hotel and took us to the market to look at all the produce and then we went back to her beautiful air conditioned kitchen where she taught us how to make 4 dishes. She was so kind and caring and it was one of the best things we’ve done on our stay in Thailand. Would highly recommend!

This is a fantastic place, imbued with the love of the owner Pam.
Her love for nature and good food is felt in everything.
The dishes we tried were very fresh and incredibly tasty.
We will return here without a doubt!

It is not surprising that this restaurant is the haunt of Europeans who love their old habits from the old continent. At Pam’s it feels like an Asian restaurant in a major European capital. It’s clean, the servers wear the same outfit and the cuisine is simple but refined. This restaurant was sold to us as the best in the sector, make no mistake, even if it is very good, you will find it just as good elsewhere and above all cheaper! European service, European prices! For travelers who don’t like to take risks….

She also offers a cookery class. We ate her amazing food. A couple of days later we went with her to the market bought the ingredients then she taught us how cook some of the best Thai food ever!

A gem in Khao Lak. Restaurant offered complimentary pick up and drop off service for us, which was greatly appreciated. Food was high quality, best for us in Khao Lak thus far, and reasonably priced, the som tam deserves special mention as did the steamed fish fillet with lemon and pineapple rice with shrimp. Restaurant seating was also well spaced out and almost magical with dining under the stars and amongst plants and flowers. Highly recommend.

We had dinner on our 2nd night in Khoa Lak, and the food was amazing, as was the service, we were even picked up at our hotel.the whole experience was 1st class.

Then on the 9th we did the cooking class with Pam, she was bright and bubbly and we loved the fact she took us to the market to pick the ingrediencies, as a none-cook myself, she was patient and helped explained the whole process, I made a massaman curry, the better half Pad Thai and the teenage star made Thai green curry and all together we made spring rolls. I must be honest and say for me this was one of the best meals I have had, especially as I contributed to it…. So thanks Pam xxx

On a serious note, if you are thinking about doing a cooking class or even looking for a meal in a unique spot then Pam’s is the place to go………

Second visit during our two weeks in Thailand and one week of that in Khao Lak. We were riding our bikes from the Devasom and stopped for a drink. The four of us then decided to eat. The gardens and restaurant design are superb and all Pam. For our second visit tonight, Pam picked us up from the hotel and shared her story. Very inspiring. The food is probably the best we've had in Thailand and the service second to none. Thank you Pam. We will be back and wish you all the success your years of effort and perfectionism deserve. Absolutely gorgeous restaurant with amazing food and amazing service. We went here twice during our week in khao lak and both times exceeded expectation. We walked the second time and got caught in the rain and even though they were full they still managed to fit us in. Would recommend to everyone, great cocktails, great food and great staff. Thank you so much!

The food is tasty, but in our opinion very adapted to "Western tastes". The decoration of the restaurant is nice with a beautiful garden.
There are a number of the owner's dogs, who regularly walk through the restaurant, even though they try to keep the dogs inside.

It was AMAZING! From being picked up from the hotel to the walk around the market and then back to Pam's to cook. This experience is 100% so good. You need to book in advance, do yourself a favour and book if you are visiting Khao Lak. Pam is a beautiful person with an amazing philosophy

Offer pick up and drop off service. We wanted to use this at a Regentsg - none. We were told to walk. That's what a Thai is saying right now. We are long-term vacationers and will no longer visit this restaurant nor recommend it to others. I was annoyed because I am disabled and can only walk a few steps. Pams died for us.
Note: There was never any mention of us wanting to come directly. We would have waited half an hour or longer. But we weren't offered this, we had to walk through the rain. Who wants to eat dinner completely soaked? Especially since it would have taken me at least 1 hour if the distance was supposed to be 300m. Thanks, that was it.

Some of the best food we've had in Thailand so far. Very friendly service with free pick-up and delivery service from Marriot. Just text, very responsive.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Pam’s. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We ordered over 10 dishes and every dish was good. Wish we had gone there on our first night in Khao Lak and not our last as we would have love to come back for another meal.
