Monkey Cave reviews
13These monkeys are so cute! But people are terrible because they leave the plastic bags next to the monkeys that shouldn't be the case because they have enough garbage standing there!
The cave is not particularly attractive and is very trampled. There is a Buddhist temple in the lower cave. The path to the cave was taken over by macaques. Local sellers offer various treats for the monkeys, and tourists eagerly buy them. Then they feed these poor creatures. Some of them are very fat and still can't get enough.
Very positive interaction with the monkeys. At the entrance they offer to buy bags of monkey food for 100 baht. You need to hold them tightly, bolder monkeys may try to snatch them!)
Suwan Khuha Monkey Temple: A fun trip with your daughter
Today I want to share a review of our visit to the Suwan Khuha Monkey Temple. We went there with my daughter Lilia as part of an excursion from Khaolak Land Discovery.
Impressions from the cave
Suwan Khuha Cave is an amazing place. It is located in the rock and consists of several levels. On the first level there is a statue of a reclining Buddha, on the second there are bats, stalactites and stalagmites.
Lilia and I were delighted with the cave. She was very beautiful and interesting for a 6 year old traveler. We wandered through its corridors for a long time, looking at the bizarre shapes of stalactites and stalagmites.
Impressions from monkeys
But the main attraction of the temple for her, of course, are the monkeys. There are a lot of them here and they are very friendly.
Lily was delighted with the monkeys. She fed and was even able to take a photo. We spent more time with the monkeys than walking around the temple, and it was very fun and funny.
Thanks to Khaolak Land Discovery
We thank Kaolak Land Discovery for organizing this wonderful excursion. Lilia and I received a lot of positive emotions and will definitely come here again.
Tips for visitors
If you are planning to visit Suwan Khuha Temple, here are some tips:
Be sure to buy monkey food at the entrance. They are very fond of bananas, corn and peanuts.
Be careful with the monkeys. They can be quite aggressive if provoked or teased.
Don't leave things unattended. Monkeys might steal them.
Conclusion
Suwan Khuha Monkey Temple is a great place for a family holiday. Here you can see a beautiful cave, meet friendly and playful monkeys and get a lot of positive emotions with your children.
Very nice experience, snacks for the monkeys can be bought on site, you should not bring your own plastic bags, they think that the food is and
Steal these. Temple is beautiful and 100% recommended. Be sure to visit early, as they say it will be very crowded from midday onwards. It is better to wear sturdy shoes in the cave. Were there early, so there were fewer visitors
Went for visit at the temple was part of your package. Kids enjoyed feeding pigeons and monkeys. Please buy the food from local vendors this gives business to them. Beautiful temple inside the cave.
Monkeys are great fun to see.
Lots of locals trying to get you to buy something, shop around or try bargaining for better monkey food offers.
Bring cash as card is not accepted.
Unfortunately, entering the cave is not free, it’s 20 baht per person no matter if part of your tour package or not.
A lot of monkey and pigeons but monkey doesn't like much banana, LoL, they prefer to eat corn.
It was ok, plenty of Monkeys to see in the temples and around. Places around you can buy food to feed them and they are tame enough to feed.
The temple itself is stunning.
Must visit if you're in Phuket, the caves look really beautiful, you can also feed the monkeys if you wish
It's a natural made cave.not much to see there.it's have some historical and spiritual significance
Nice cute monkeys that aren't violent. They just want to be fed. A massive amount of pigeons around too. There are a row of cart shops that sell food for the monkeys and birds so you can buy them easily. We were there for a little bit and did not get to go into the cave.
Overrated.only monkeys r here & u can find so money monkeys in India also.only thing is sleeping buddha in cave.
