Fantastic resort! The Italian manager was very friendly and helpful.
The employees speak English very well and are very knowledgeable, therefore very easy to make themselves understood even for those like me whose level of English is equivalent to "the pen is on the table".
Fantastic place isolated from everyone in an environment of total relaxation.
Huge rooms well maintained and cleaned every day. The excursions very well organised.

Hotel far from everything.
A scooter or a car is essential if you want to move around a bit.
Scooter rental possible at the hotel but 700 bath per day, while it is 300 in town. Car rental 1500 bath/day.

Amazing place! Really loved the vibes and the comfort it offers to the guests. Very clean, furnitures and fixtures are new.i also enjoyed the amazing beach. Would definitely love to go back someday.

A stunning hotel at the beach, quiet and calm but also far from everything. The staff was not the best (poor English)

A very beautiful secluded resort with a gigantic pool. We stayed here for a couple of nights back in March 2020, shortly before the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Sadly, Le Menara has remained closed since then and has started showing evidence of neglect.

I was there to use the spa as a treat for Christmas and I live in Khao Lak, the spa was clean and the giant private bath was amazing.
I had a selection of treatments all were great, and after took a walk to the beach the sunset was incredible, the pool was enormous, and the beach was so long and quiet!
Best Christmas treat!?
It is a bit further out but that gives you the empty beaches and heard they have a shuttle into town to explore. Looked like a great resort to get away from it all:)

We knew the Le Menara from a previous visit and went back in Dec/2019 for the peace of this very nice hotel. For all those who seek for the same: BEWARE! The Le Menara had a change of concept which is neither declared on the website nor were we informed about this at any stage of our booking process. The hotel is now in the programm of the BRAVO-Club and the BRAVO-Club animation-team in now all over the place. And: since there is no separate animation section you’ll find yourself in the middle of the animation-programm even if you are not a BRAVO-Club guest. At the sunchair/resting-area we experienced very loud (and different) music being played from 2-3 differend sides, yelling, soundcheck at the time of sunset, etc. And the BRAVO-team is ruthless towards Not-BRAVO-Club guests. We tried to talk to them and also to the hotel staff but it was no use. So we will certainly not go back to Le Menara.

Bad service, bad food and bad location.

The Staff was rude and extremely bad at english. We was not given any information on the area or how the food and service worked.
We did not have all inclusive, just the breakfast buffé. The breakfast was good, a lot of options. But we disturbed by birds eating from our plates. Because we didn't have all inclusive we were not allowed to eat or drink between breakfast and dinner at the hotell restaurang. We were directed to the beach bar which made us feel a bit unwelcomed by the staff.
The food at the beach bar was awful and expressive. And we had to wait about 1 hour every time we ordered. Even if we just ordered coffee.
And because of the bad location we did not have a choice but to eat at the hotel.
Around the hotel area it was no stores, restaurants or anything else to do. So we had to travel to khao lak center with was 1000-1300 bath both ways.
Our room was ok. They cleaned every day, often missed several things. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived. We had a lot of ants and mosquitos on our room.
It was loud music playing by the beach and pool all day, which Some may enjoy, we did not.
The pool was nice and the beach was beautiful.

I would not say that this is a 5 star hotel, and would recommend others to stay somewhere else because there are so many places far better than this.

Beautiful resort with amazingly long infinity pool, great beach with direct access. Large comfortable rooms though thoughtless neighbours can tarnish the experience as of course they can anywhere

Authentic thai interior design, good location. If you don't mind insects (like ants) and lizards around the property and prefer a rustic cozy style, this place is for you.
