What a fantastic stay we had at Laguna villas! We were there for a week with our 9 month old and everything was perfect. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated.
The beach was right next to the villas, and we pretty much had it to ourselves. There was a lot of shade from the trees on the beach which meant our son could play and nap there.
The service was amazing! Nancy, the manager, and her staff made us feel very well taken care of. They have a restaurant there with delicious food and very good prices, and with a varied menu every day. We ate there every day.

We loved it, and would definitely visit again if in Koh Yao Noi.

A very nice little bungalow complex with a clean, large pool and well-kept gardens. The bungalows are very spacious with air conditioning in both rooms, very clean, large bathroom and large terrace. But the best thing is the very attentive manager Nancy, organizes everything perfectly! You can put together your own breakfast every day. The beach is right in front of the front door, 2 steps across the small street, which is hardly used at night. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance. It's worth exploring the island with a moped. The only downer is that next to Bungalow 8, which we had, and behind B. 9 are the generators from the neighboring restaurant, which of course also go on and off at night and are very noisy! It would be nice to have a larger storage space for the suitcases, and there would also be plenty of space in the room, for example behind the sofa on the wall. We'd love to come back!

People in Thailand is often very friendly but Our stay at Laguna villas exceeded way above what er expected! The 5 days we stayed here we felt like family and everyone remembered our names.

The botique family hotel is small, nice, clean and placed between several good restaurants, dive center cafes etc.the rooms are big and don’t miss anything.

But what (also) makes this hotel special is the owner Nancy.
Nancy is SO hardworking and her servicemindedness is at another league.

If it’s a kayak, massage, scooter, cooking class or an island-trip - or you boat back to mainland - Nancy arrange the best for you at no extra cost.

So save time of searching for hotels now and spending hours of googling activities while you’re at the island. Just book Laguna, talk to Nancy and lean back)!

I stayed here for 4 nights right at the start of the low season.

I could not have hoped for a better spot to spend my time in Ko Yao Noi.

The room was better than I expected (beautiful and big). The staff were lovely and beyond helpful. And the resort itself was tasteful and immaculate. Highly recommended!

My husband and I and our friend loved Laguna Villas. Our rooms were lovely - clean, quiet and very spacious. Breakfasts were excellent and there were several very good restaurants and an excellent coffee shop close. The beach across the road from the Villas was a bit rocky for swimming except at high tide, but there are other beaches close by. Best of all was the excellent service from all the staff; Nancy, in particular, was wonderful and arranged many activities for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there.

Thank you so much Nancy for a wonderful week, you have been amazing and always so helpful in answering our questions. Thanks also to the girls for good breakfast and good cleaning. And of course thanks to the guys who keep the pool area and garden so nice. The villa we stayed in was so amazing and everything we needed was there. There are several restaurants just a few 100 m from Laguna villas and also a small supermarket (but they don't sell alcohol) The beach was okay, a bit rocky and cloudy water, we mostly stayed by the pool which was fantastic.

We had such a great stay! The villa is really nice with everything you need. It's feels intimate. The outdoor is really beautiful. The beach is really nice and with an amazing view and beautiful sunrise. Nancy and all the people working there are so nice and helpful. It's quiet and yet you have different options of restaurants by foot. We love the island as well and the people.

Great hotel, superb location, villas, swimming pool, basically everything is really good.

The manager (Nancy) is more like a friend or personal concierge rather than just another employee. She helped us with few things and organized trips and bicycles. Was always available via WhatsApp to answer our questions which were mostly unrelated to the hotel so it wasn’t really her duty or job. Great person and she is definitely a soul of this hotel.

The management reads the reviews and clearly takes actions. There were voices complaining about the breakfast situation (served in some third party location). It has been changed already and the breakfast is served in the hotel and it’s very good. Other people complained that there is nothing to do (strange but ok…) when there is no electricity in the hotel (and whole island - happens due to maintenance of the underwater cables from time to time). We had this situation and Nancy organized a free full day boat trip for all the guest so we are kept happy. It worked.

There is another good hotel around the corner (cape kudu). It’s much larger and I think it’s 5*. If you are thinking about booking that one instead: don’t! The small boutique hotel experience with large villas, private pool (there are only few villas in the hotel) and very personal relation with the staff is really much better than another * after the name.

Good job and I hope to visit this hotel again!

Undoubtedly this is the best place to stay on this lovely island. The location is perfect, right next to a beautiful beach, and the best restaurants on the island are just 1 min walk away. The rooms are spacious, and the pool is the best one we had in Thailand.

But the best part is the staff. Everyone is so nice, always willing to help and make your stay unforgettable. On our last day, we needed medical attention and the owner personally took us to the medical clinic, saw that we received proper care and translated everything for us, all while adjusting our trip plans so we can still manage to arrive at our next destination on time.

Awesome deep pool, good for laps. Beautiful, big and quiet villas, well-taken care of garden, very friendly people, good breakfast. The view from the beach is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay a lot (family with two big kids).

What a great place! Spacious and clean villa's and a great pool. And what a view! The beach and views are spectacular! We also loved the island, so calm and nice. We explored it using the complementary motor-bike. They add two extra beds for our kids. Good service! Thanks again for everything Nancy and staff, we have great memories ️

When we landed at the island of Koh Yao, we got into a pickup with lots of the other travelers and we were taken to Laguna Villas and the drive was about 15-20 minutes. Check in was fast and we were taken to our bungalow (number 9) just by the pool. The bungalow was larger than expected with a small garden and patio with a couple of sunbeds. Entering the bungalow, we first came into a lounge with a few chairs and sofa around a table but also chairs around a small dining room table. There was a small kitchen with a fridge – we got 4 small bottles of water complimentary each day. The lounge had lots of windows and large sections that could be opened. The lounge and bedroom were sprinkled with beautiful frangipani flowers from the trees that were growing in the garden. Amenities included flashlights to use at night, umbrellas, mosquito repellent to use in the room etc.

A door led into the bedroom and the bed was of decent size. The bed was a bit on the firm side and the pillows were uncomfortably firm compared to what I’m used to. There was a small TV with lots of channels and a good picture. The internet worked fine with just a password and gave super-fast internet – I think it was at least a 100/100 mbps line. The wardrobe included a few hangers but I would have liked to see an iron and ironing board. The safe was quite small but worked fine.

The bathroom was very stylish with two sinks and a toilet – the tiles and craftsmanship was quite excellent and gave this bathroom a luxurious feel. A new door led out to a small area and it contained an outdoor shower area. This was quite lovely apart from one day when taking a shower during a rain storm – it felt a bit cold taking a shower outside during this.

The pool was huge and when I jumped in, I was surprised that it was salt water – and that it was 2 meters deep. There were not many other guests at the hotel so most of the time when I was in the pool, I was in alone. There were a few sunbeds around the pool but no bar or room service. Across the road, we had access to the beach. The beach looks pretty at high tide but appears very rocky at low tide.

For some reason, breakfast was at Green Café and not at VL Restaurant that seemed to be the hotel restaurant. But the small café served a good breakfast served in a covered outside area and there was an option of eggs, croissant/toast, fruit, yogurt or Thai style breakfast. The Green café was also a convenience store with a small selection of things that you might need including beer starting at 55 Baht (1,8 USD) for a bottle of Chang.

Location of the hotel is good as there does not seem to be a defined area where stuff is happening. There are some restaurants and bars within walking distance and if you don’t want to walk you can rent a scooter (with or without sidecar) from the hotel to get around.

Conclusion: all in all a lovely hotel – the room was huge and well laid out. The atmosphere is relaxed with the pool and garden – where butterflies and birds are enjoying the flowering trees and bushes. We stayed at this island in July at this is both rainy season and low season. Due to this it was very quiet at both the hotel and on the island with several restaurants being closed for the season and with restaurants having limited menus. But the hotel and pool was excellent and provided a lovely relaxing stay.

Good place to stay.
. On an island I very much disliked.
Not for me! If you want to see Thailand, experience Thai culture, see Thai people.this is not where you want to be. More tourists than natives, rubbish everywhere, filthy beaches, exploitation and rip-off around every corner. The only 7/11 on the island is operated by Muslims and does not sell alcohol.
Come up to the Issan riverlands for an authentic and cheap Thai holiday.

Amazing sea facing villas. Mail and book with them directly for good rates. Through sites they are expensive. Nice maintained property. Along side is massage parlour. Hotel staff is friendly.
No room service but beautiful swimming pool. They have free Kayaks and Paddle boats. Vegetarian menu for breakfast is only beans and fruits so one star less and also for closing lights in pool area at night feels creepy.
Otherwise nothing to complaint. They have bikes and Banglee to rent out.
There is a nearby place called “Extra “ around a Kilometre towards Manoh pier. It serves amazing global food and gives some variety to vegetarians
. To reach catch a boat from bang rong pier in Phuket.

A blue bus from market takes you there for 50-60 Baht else use taxi meter Phuket app to find taxis.
Avoid using Phuketferry. Com It is too expensive.
From pier morning 9 am onwards boat almost every hour. You can take a long boat too for 200 baht per person and Speed boat is 300 baht per person. May to July is low season and tariffs are very low. Nov December is high season.

You can rent bikes around the island and enjoy it. There are 3-4 good beaches.

Laguna Villas is a dream! My husband and I spent a blissful week there during our honeymoon. We were greeted by Nancy upon our arrival and she took great care of us throughout our stay. We stayed in Villa #9 which has a direct seaview. The villa was exceptionally clean and they even decorated the bed with fresh flowers and a lovely towel bird in celebration of our honeymoon. The villas surround the hotel pool which is large and very clean. Each villa has an indoor outdoor living area and a separate bedroom with a large bed and cable television. The bathroom is large with a lovely outdoor shower. Make sure to try and shower before 5: 30pm when the mosquitoes are most abundant, if forced to shower after that, use bug spray and be quick. Breakfast was included in the room rate, served at the restaurant just next door and the menu is large with a lot of western and Thai options to choose from. I enjoyed the fresh yogurt, museli, and fresh fruit daily with a fresh cucumber, pineapple and lime drink. The option to sit inside the restaurants with cooling fans is available as is the option to sit in verandas (if available) right along the beach. Laguna Villas gives 10% off lunch and dinner for guests staying with them. My husband and I enjoyed a few meals at the resort restaurant and the food was consistently good. The owner (we never got his name) would bring a lovely sauce to my husband every morning to eat with his rice, this was a nice touch. There are several neighboring restaurants as well in case you want to try other options. The Green Coffee shop is good for pastries and shakes, and Pyramid restaurant is exceptional for lunch and dinner. Cafe Kantary next to Cape Kudu hotel is another fantastic option. Laguna villas is centrally located on the lovely island of Koh Yao Noi and views from the resort are stunning. You can see the sunrise daily right in front of the resort. I honestly didn't want to leave. The resort certainly has mastered the art of comfort. Don't hesitate to book this incredible resort. Definitely not the party island though, if you're looking for peace and tranquility you'll find it in Koh Yao Noi and at Laguna Villas! A+
