Great value for a large private room with air conditioning, refrigerator, and private bathroom. Conveniently located near one of the main Khao Lak bus stops (McDonald's) where you can flag down buses to Ranong, Surat Thani and Phuket. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owner Mr. Chang is friendly, reliable and trustworthy and communicates well in English. I left my bag with him while I went on a liveaboard dive tour and he had it waiting for me in my room 3 days later when I returned. There are plenty of shops, dive shops, a fantastic grocery store and restaurants nearby for everything you need, and though it is by the highway, I never noticed any loud road noises and in fact found it very convenient. The beach is a fairly short and pleasant walk away. I stayed here three times for a total of 7 days and would definitely recommend it for anybody who is traveling on a budget but also wants a clean private room and bathroom. Mr. Chang is always cracking jokes. As long as you have a sense of humor, you will be fine, I promise.

Funny staff. Almost not a Thai speaker but He's thai. Room is good for the price. Hot shower work great. Stuffy nose happened abit properly from dusty A. C. Overall fair choice if stay just a night.

The owner is super friendly and helpfull.

The hotel is well located with restaurants shops around. The room is clean and big but close to the main road so it is noisy at night.

Very good value for money, clean, all mod cons (fridges, tvs, aircon), quiet, spacious rooms and balcony, handy location for dive shops and the beach and very helpful staff, thank you Mr Chang

Although we didn’t stay here, the owner helped us out on a few things and was very kind and helpful. I saw his rooms and they are very clean and tidy I would highly recommend them.

Good price in a convenient location. The manager cleaned my room several times during my stay, but during the five nights I stayed at the hotel, my towels were never changed! I am all for cost-savings in order to keep prices in my budget, but this is a bit too much. If I have to bring my own towels and wash them myself, I can certainly do that, but the hotel should inform the guest before.
