We had already heard a lot of good things about Joe's Kitchen, but had never been to the restaurant until today. Now the time had come and we were not disappointed in terms of food and ambience, everything was great. The fish fries were well seasoned and the duck breast with orange sauce was a dream. So why haven't we been here sooner
Update 01.2024 Unfortunately, a new restaurant has now been built next door, which takes up the free space from before and thereby accumulates the heat. But otherwise everything is as usual

The food that we had here was lovely. However, we weren’t aware that we were ordered a whole separate rice dish which was much dearer than the ordinary jasmine rice that came with the curry (I don’t get why this seems to be a thing in Khao lak - charging extra for rice when a curry dish should just come with rice), and the female waitress was visibly annoyed that my partner had questioned the extra charge for rice. She had a scowl when we were leaving the restaurant which just isn’t on if you work in a people orientated hospitality job - left a bad taste in our mouths. The other staff were nice.

Excellent! We had red thai curry chicken and deep fried prawns with garlic pepper sauce, both very, very delicious!
Leckeres Essen, schneller und freundlicher Service. Recht günstige Preise. Das Pad Thai mit Hähnchen kann ich empfehlen.
