Hippie Fish Beach Cafe reviews
10Have happy hour twice day, 1-2 then 5 -6. We've visited several time, had drinks and food, nice setting. Had a lovely evening meal tomahawk + pork loin steak + beef kebabs × veg and potatoes, worth the money. The staff are very nice, we ate our meal and watched a thunder storm out at sea
We loved our evening at Hippie Fish, which has nothing hippie apart from the name! Very nice selection of starters and a nice BBQ menu. Impeccable service.
Just steps from The Sands resort! Go through the beach, it's much easier to access
Thanks to our all-inclusive catering at Ocean Breeze, we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the excellent service from Hippie Fish every day for two weeks. The food is excellent, you sit comfortably on the beach with a great view.
With AI you get a separate card. At lunchtime every day with a good selection of international and Thai dishes. In the evening there is a different menu every day of the week with two international and two Thai starters as well as a choice of main courses and dessert. Everything was very tasty and visually appealing. There is also a good selection of drinks, both with and without alcohol. It doesn't say water, but you can get it too ;)
Of course, you can also enjoy the great food and cocktails here without all-inclusive.
A big compliment and thanks to the kitchen and the service team.
Most unpleasant lady bartender at the Hippe pool/beach bar 15 May 12.30. We wanted to lunch but just went for a coffee finally. The lady is rude, no eye contact and unpleasant. Zero smile or friendliness to any of her customers. Would appreciate a more welcoming attitude after 3 years of covid misery. Not what you would expect in a place where people come to spend their hard earned money for holidays. What a pity to have such "bad attitude people" who spoil the otherwise beautiful place.
Stopped for a drink at lunchtime for a break after a very hot walk along the beach. Just happened to arrive in time for happy hour (13.00-14.00) so it was 2 beers for 100 baht. Nice to sit on the beach with a view of the ocean.
Great location & trendy name
Unfortunately, poor quality Thai food - how can a Thai restaurant fail at Pad Thai & Pad Ka Proa? We left the food, paid and walked out. Even a cheap microwave heated 7/11 meal tastes better.
Definitely never return
Cute place by the sea Unfortunately, the food is not tasty, we ordered Pad Tai and Pad Ka prow Kai were cold, and expensive.
Chill place with nice deck & umbrellas. Happy hour 5-6 pm was full and they had outdoor cooking and nice live music on Sat night
Nice location on the beach, but food was overpriced and didn't deliver. Chicken vegetable curry contained 3 bites of chicken and one cherry tomato in terms of vegetable. Waitress didn't care when I told her and just walked away. Happy hour cocktails might be your best bet here to get some value for money. Clientèle is older European and Russian tourists.
Great spot for sunset drinks. Good live music (acoustic - perfect for the beach vibes!) and food looked great.
