Hill House - Koh Yao Noi

Everything was perfect! The location and the view from our room. The delicious breakfast, the room cleaned every day and the lovely welcome!

Magnificent magic and the owners are very kind! We were able to do a boat day with the owner to do snorkelling, it was sublime, the sunrises are magical and the hammocks on the terraces are superb for admiring this incredible view

I could have talked about the stunning view on the Phang Nga bay. But I prefer to emphasize the big big heart of the owner, Nu, an exceptional person who made our 2 night stay something very special. Many kind attentions and above all he arranged, with his boat, a private boat trip in the Phang Nga bay where we discovered the most iconic places at the right time of the day to manage tide and crowd.
A big thanks to him and book his hotel without hesitation!

I need more than five stars to rate how much I love Hill House, and there aren't enough stars in the universe to how much love I have for the people who run it, as well as all of the people who work with them. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. When we got to our lovely room Nu had arranged the sweetest message for my partner's birthday, which was beautifully written on a leaf. The room was perfect, the view just stunning, and our stay just got better when we had our first breakfast. Every day you get sticky rice and mango, which is delicious. Then, you also get a choice of various pancakes, or eggs, fried, poached, scrambled, an omelette, or boiled. We're not done yet, you also get your choice of fruit smoothie (I recommend the coconut, but they're all good). And, you can help yourself to toast and tea/coffee. We also booked a boat trip, which was brilliant, and came with an amazing lunch (see photo). And, we hired a moped, which only cost 200 bht, plus a litre of fuel. I highly recommend this, so you can see as much as lively island as possible. I'm not confident on a moped, but the roads are very quiet. If you've read this far, you must be interested, so please stay here, you will not regret it.

Amazing stay at Hillhouse! We had a bungalow with a stunning view over the bay & sunrise. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, we went on a snorkeling boat tour with Don which we highly recommend too! Our stay was the highlight of our trip in Thailand, thanks Don & Raw:)

AMAZING bungalows with the most stunning view. Spent 2 nights here and could have stayed much longer if I had the time. Perfect place to relax and rewind, totally quiet and with a beautiful tropical garden around the bungalows. All you hear is the ocean and tropical nature sounds. You can rent scooters and book trips directly at the reception. The hosts are so warm and welcoming, it was amazing. Breakfast was a lot and delicious. 10/10 recommended!

This place is unbelievable. We were picked up at the pier for free and taken to our beautiful bungalow with the most amazing view and the comfiest mattress I’ve ever slept on. We were handed the key to a moped to drive during our stay (after thankfully being shown how to drive by the lovely hosts) and the next day we were handed a kayak to explore the island by sea. Each morning we were greeted with pancakes and banana smoothies to start our day which the hosts wouldn’t take any money for.
This place really is a gem and I can’t rate it highly enough. We had booked to stay two places on the island and wish we could have just stayed on at Hillhouse when it was time to move. They even left us to our next hotel!

Couldn't praise this place enough. Location is fantastic, right above the beach in the middle of the jungle and a 5min walk to Ta Kaow pier (speed boats run to Taleen pier in Krabi several times per day for 300 Baht). The owners are lovely people, happy to sit down for a chat and helpful with all types of travel inquiries. Rooms offer stunning views of the beach (sunrise side) and are spacious (found enough space to get some work done). No AC but fans are all you need even in the heat of summer. Breakfast was GREAT, basically all you can eat (toast with jam, eggs, pancakes, smoothies). Scooter rental is available (I rented a scooter at another pier where I arrived and the shop was so kind as to leave the bike at Ta Kaow pier upon leaving). To sum it up: completely happy with my stay here!

Amazing place and the hosts are the nicest people, wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on the island. We were made to feel completely at home. Cleaned room every day was immaculate and made staying in the jungle environment very comfortable! The free scooter and kayak made it possible to explore the whole island at our own pace and the free shuttle from the pier was really convenient. We are still addicted to Mango sticky rice after the breakfast. We hope we can come back one day, thank you so much!

Absolutely incredible place! What a gem! The view is just stunning. The bungalow is so comfortable and remote and private feeling in the jungle where you can see tucans pretty much twice a day! You get a balcony with a hammock with a stunning view! The breakfast is so fresh and delicious! I cannot say enough about the owners they are beautiful kind hearted people! We got to do a tour island hopping with the owner and it was just beyond amazing! Thank you!

5 stars - and more! The Hill House is definitely one of our travel highlights of our now fourth Thailand vacation. Why? Because it just makes you happy all around: From the first wake up with spectacular sunrise, the fantastic view at breakfast with the most delicious homemade sticky rice and smoothy, trips to the nearby islands with Don and his beautiful boat, kayak tour in the mangroves and in the evening chilling in the hammock with the sound of the jungle. Thanks again Raw and Don, we will be back!
