Gecko Bar , Khaolak

Small bar, very good atmosphere, billiards, table football, darts, some board games. The boss is adorable, invited me to play with them

Lovely bar, with pool, games etc.
Slightly spoiled by the volume of some of the children and adults in the bar screeching when playing table football, they seemed to be friends or family of the owner. (this was at 11pm) so we left.

One of the best places in khaolak. Gecko bar is not just a bar but an institution of khaolak.

P Black is a superb person with a great personality and brings the gecko bar to life.

Here you can meet cool people who like to play pool and Fußball. A must visit when you are in khaolak!

I love this place. Even if you don’t drink there are table games and free pool. The staff are some of the best people you’ll ever meet. It’s a great vibe and you’ll meet everyone from locals to expats here. I highly recommend.

Cool spot, good pool table plus other games to play. Staff are kind and give out lots of free shots. Had a couple fun nights here!

The popular Gecko Bar where you’ll find a mix of locals, expats & tourists! The owners are so nice & down to earth! Such a fun bar, we were in Khao Lak for 5 days, this was our favourite bar. The staff are fun and so friendly. You can just queue up your favourite tunes on Spotify, so the sound and vibe is different every night dependent on the crowd. Definitely recommend dropping in when visiting Khao Lak.

Great place. Cocktails, music, pool table and plenty of games. And the best thing is the awesome staff:) I was trying to find so nice pictures but I think non of them share the fab atmosphere so just try it for yourselves:) PS be prepared to leave your shoes/ flipflops by the door:)

Good bar to chill out. Price is affordable! The staffs are lively. There are pool and other games to play.

Really nice bar with a good vibe! Good drinks, nice staff! Cool place to hang out with friends for a couple of drinks. One thing I love about this place is that they have an Ipad where they play songs from and you can queue songs.

Lovely place with amazing atmosphere and even more lovely staff. I went with my wife and they heard that we were on a honeymoon, so spoiled us and explained to us about Khao Lak. Highly recommended place

The Gecko bar is one of the long lasting mainstays of the BangNiang drag. The place is known as the late night hang out and is very popular among foreigners living, working or holidaying in the area. After 10 the place is usually always busy and happening. Pool table, Foosball and other assorted fun things to do are only made better by the owners Black and Lyn who are truly the personalities that have kept this place as one of the top bars in the area.

People working at the bar are great! They make you feel welcome immediately. Nice little bar to spend the evening playing pool or table soccer.

Nightlife in Khao Lak doesn't get any better than this. Gecko bar is a great spot even on a quiet night. The owner and his wife (Black & Lyn) are amazing people who will do pretty much anything to make your night as fun as possible. And they have a foosball table!
