Nice place. Great view, very comfortable. Staff very friendly and always smiling. Food very good. Right next to the Marriott Hotel. Cocktails highly recommended)

When you come out toward the Marriott breakfast building, the restaurant is right in front of you. The atmosphere is nice and it's one of the best local restaurants I've eaten at while traveling. This is a photo from the last dinner before late check-out at 7: 30 pm on the last day.

Excellent authentic Thai seafood dishes. Not too salty, light and flavorful. Beautiful natural setting right on the beach under the trees, perfect for watching the sunset. Ice cold beer. Great prices. What could be better.

My favorite dishes:
Crab fried, tamarind whole fish, stir fried mushrooms, grilled prawns, papaya salad.

We’re staying at the JW Marriott just next door. Great cheap food and friendly staff. Absolutely delicious. Family of four adults including soft drinks and a couple of entrees and two ice creams cost approx 1000thai baht.
We had lunch here quite a few times whilst staying at the resort.
Definitely try it out for yourselves.

Good restaurant right on the beach and very close to the JW Marriot Hotel. Ate here a few times some dishes are excellent, Chicken Satay, Tom Yum. A few others were disappointing including the Pad Thai, which from someone who has been in Thailand for 4 years was very strange tasting. Still worth a try if you're in the area.

Schönes Strandrestaurant. Das Essen war gut. Nicht überragend aber auch nicht schlecht. Der Service war sehr gut. Schnell und freundlich. Schöne Aussicht auf den Strand durch die Bäume.

Overall “meh” experience: food was pale in taste vs.other options on the beach (eg minced chicken with basil leaves was the worst we had so far), staff relatively slow.

Chill beachside restaurant for lunch/dinner. Good quality food, especially the fried soft shell crab, Panang curry, and Thai roti.

We stayed 3 days at the JW and ate at this restaurant. Food and drinks we also great quick (we tried many items on the menu) service was effective and friendly and the prices are really affordable

Perfect restaurant close to the JW Marriott, different specialities, nice family who really cares about you and you can really taste it.

Not sure where all the good reviews come from here…Americans maybe, or folks new to Thailand and grateful for lower priced options than JW. Because the food was mediocre at best and overpriced relative to over local options, the drinks watery and the service horrid.

We had to leave our table to get our food and drinks and cheque, all while the fellow who clearly owns the place sits at a table literally counting his profits after rolling up in a shiny Mercedes.

Yet still packed for being a cheaper alternative to resort food for undiscerning tourists, which is the only thing going for the place and why they’re basically not even making an effort - because they’ll still take in the dough.

After 15 years in hospitality it’s sad to see this reality play out…though in some ways ironically also an authentic Thai situation.

Really tasty food and drinks! They have such a big menu and delicious, definitely more value for money than the marriott resort just next door!
