Had a great time with Igor and his team. Everything was well organized, communication via mail and whatsapp was seamless. The dive spot Koh Doc Mai was nice and just 25 minutes off the coast of Koh Yao Yai. Highly recommend.

Absolutely extraordinary! Stumbling upon this hidden gem online led to the most incredible experience. The underwater escapade around the Phi Phi Islands was an incredible journey, offering serene views that left us utterly captivated. The added bonus of awe-inspiring mountain views elevated the overall adventure. The team's unparalleled kindness, meticulously attending to our needs, made our two days an unforgettable voyage. Highly recommend this diving paradise for the stunning landscapes, mesmerizing underwater life, and breathtaking views, all accompanied by an exceptionally friendly team!

Super professional and nicest team ever (and multi-lingual too!).

Equipment, boat, diving location and the crew - everything was just super pro.

I had never dived, and I took the PADI Scuba Diving certification. Jan was my instructor: he is simply the best - super pro, knowledgeable about diving and the ocean, and above all patient, reassuring and kind.

You can safely and happily go to Elixir!

Good dive tours. The wife and I did two dives here and the prices were good and the dive master was excellent. The rental gear was adequate, but most importantly serviceable.

They gave us extra instruction for using bar instead of psi which was much appreciated.

Our first dive couldn’t be better than this! Kamila explained everything slowly and understandably, so that we could feel safe and could enjoy what was to come. The professionality and kindness made the experience whole another level. And don’t let me start on what we saw underwater – oh boy! Literally the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life. Wish I could stay longer to go again. Definitely recommending to everybody!

We had a lovely diving trip around Koh Phi Phi! We stopped at beautiful spots on the way. Thank you for great atmosphere and beautiful, relaxing diving!

First rate dive centre: the gear is in fab condition and the days are perfectly organised. The team couldn't have been more helpful.

One snag: no nitrox or tech options, so if you wanted to do a bit of deeper/longer it's not an option. But for single tank sports diving they're awesome.

And the diving is excellent: I've rarely seen so many fish in a single dive!

I highly recommend Elixir Divers. I completed the PADI Open Water Diver certificate program with them in February 2023. They were super easy to work with, organized, honest, safe, laid-back, fun, and professional. I look forward to diving with them again in the future and highly recommend them to others.

We booked two fun dives with Tomas and Kamila and it was great. Everyone working at the dive shop was really friendly and we felt welcome from the start. It was a really private and relaxed tour (6 divers total). Kamila was our dive instructor - she was super professional and ensured we are safe. Dive sites were really nice too - we saw leopard sharks and so many other fishies. Can recommend.

If you are thinking about diving with Elixir Divers, just do it!

Best decision me and my partner made during our holidays in Thailand.

Kamila and Tomas are amazing and super helpful throughout the process. We done our Padi Open Water Certificate with Eric as instructor. He was absolutely amazing, very clear in explaining everything and very patience when having doubts and/or questions. After getting our certificates we done 2 fundives right after. Having done our Padi with Elixir and Eric as Instructor made us feel very comfortable, safe and confident in the water.

The spots you will go to are absolutely gorgeous and the boat and boat crew are great! They gave us fresh fruit and water between our dives and time for any questions.

Again, best decision we after made!

Thanks a lot Eric, Tomas & Kamila!

Ps.unrelated to Elixir Divers.
However, there is not too much to do at Koh Yao Yai, but just rent a scooter for 250Baht a day and go explore the island, it is still quite untouched.

Had two nice dive-trips with Elixir Divers. Kamila and Thomas made the reentry after one year without diving easyer. Lots of marine life at the visited sites, nice trip with own boat, good equipment and good food.
Organisation via e-mail in advance was easy.
Thanks again for arranging the accomodation.

Overall a bad dive with Elixir back in April 2019. Unfortunately for us, the visibility was low and marine life was poor in that area. But my biggest issue started with two leaking masks that I had to clear several times, the first mask on the first dive and the other on the second one, I went through many cycles of mask clearing which prevented me from enjoying the whole dive, the problem was especially with the divemaster that didn't check on problems the divers might have. After finally getting his attention several minutes later, I did the gesture by balling the fist and raising the thumb, and we all know as certified divers that DOES not mean that everything it's okay. He chose to ignore it.

Two excellent dive days. I was doing basic open water dives while my boyfriend was completing his PADI OW Certification. Dive master Woody was a lot of fun and extremely attentive of me. She was great about checking on me throughout and making sure my air was always in the safe range. She is great at spotting interesting animals amongst the corals.

The dives were “basic” which some people might find boring? But honestly if you find any dive boring then you aren’t looking hard enough and only trying to spot the megafauna. Dive day 1 was Koh Doc Mai (east and west sides). They planned the times well to work with the tides and visibility Was decent (4-5m) with the reef walls. The currents were minor but Woody paid attention to them and made sure we were using our time and air appropriately and not exerting ourselves too fast.

Dive day 2 was two different reefs of anemone reef and shark point. Shark point had a higher current and low vis. They did a great job making sure to go over maps with us and briefing thoroughly before the dives. They do a good job respecting the fauna and preserving the life of the places they visit.

Highly recommend them. It’s a much more intimate experience with a great crew and they take the time to work with your levels. Avoid the cert mills of Phuket and make Koh Yao your go to. It’s a quiet and amazing piece of the world with great divers. Thank you so much!

Super helpful and friendly people, great service, great dives. We did six dives and saw a great selection of wildlife. One of the instructors, Libor, even came to our resort twice and gave my 7-yr old nephew free lessons in the pool!
And they organised a nice BBQ on our last night. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

I have enjoyed diving with the Elixir Divers team. Very knowledgeable and fun-based instructors. I had a fun time diving and first priority was always safety. I had a blast with both instructors. Huge thanks to both Libor and Thomas for great dives.

Our dive master Libor Slavik was extremely inattentive to our group of 4 divers and he was unsafe. The first dive he didn’t pay attention to the group very closely. He mainly just swam ahead and tried to get creatures to react to him. At one point he did want my partner’s attention, and grabbed her fin to do so. The second dive we were not warned of the jelly fish and sea urchins and we were wearing shorties. On the descent, he yanked as hard as he could on our partners’s bcd to keep him from getting too close to a sleeping zebra shark. Even though he was over 40 feet from it. This dive was very low visibility and had strong currents that we swam against the entire time. He repeatedly made angry hand signals at my partner and I to get away from the sleeping shark. He got lost at one point and had no idea where he was going. One diver reached low air and needed to do his safety stop. But Libor had swam so fast and got so far away from us that I had to go get his attention. I used a quarter of my tank to get him. Then it took a lot to just get his attention and have him understand the situation. He finally swam to our member starting a safety stop, pulled him down, and got in his face. He threw up his arms at us and made angry hand signals at us. He kept pulling on the diver. On the surface he argued and blamed us for causing problems. On the boat he separated himself from us and bad mouthed us to his wife, who was also rude to one of our new divers. He never once tried to understand what happened. He was childish and had no intention of apologizing or learning. I am concerned for the safety of people that dive with him in the future.

Trust me when I say, pay the extra money to dive on another island. I have never actually taken the time to write a negative review before. I have been diving for over a decade and this was by far the most unprofessional and unsafe operation I have experienced. Not once did the dive master look back at the group to verify the location of the divers and to ensure every one was safe. The visibility was poor which made it incredibly challenging to see further than the dive run front of you. Each member in the group had to work hard to keep up with the dive master. If the diver master wanted your attention or wanted you to move, he would either grab your fin or tank to do so himself. I’m curious why this is more appropriate than using a noise maker on the tank to get the attention from the divers. On the second dive, the dive master decided to swim against the current for 75% of the dive. The strong current coupled with the visibility made this a challenging dive, especially for the new divers in the group. After about 5 minutes in the water, the dive master was so far ahead that we spent the whole dive trying to catch up. One of the members ran out of air rather quickly because of this and was forced to do a safety stop to surface. The dive master was infuriated by this and began scolding us under water by throwing his hands at us and pulling down the diver by the fins during his safety stop. Incredibly unsafe and unprofessional. Once we all surfaced, he began yelling at us some more about how we should have kept up and not surfaced without him. Yelling at a diver who was clearly in distress and made a safety call is never ok. I tried to explain how what happened and was ignored. Once on the boat, the dive master sat at the front and did not speak to any of the divers. I understand getting frustrated when fearful situations occur; however, the immature reaction and tantrum that was thrown by the leader was incredible. I would have rather paid to take a boat to Phuket to go diving rather than going with Elixir. I have experienced personality differences with dive masters before but being unsafe is where it gets serious and warrants a review. I reached out to the dive master with my concerns via e-mail and was given a response of justification for his actions and continued criticism of our group.
