30Super friendly family busines with good food. They even helped us rent some kayaks, let us use one of their scooters, and gave us a ride to the pier.
Best restaurant I've been in Thailand.
The owners (a couple) are so kind and clever, she cooks wonderfully, he serves and catches fresh fish every day.
Last but not least, it's so cheap! A smoothie for 25, a pad Thai for 80.

We travel a lot of Krabi, Phi-Phi, Koh Yao Noi and now we reached Koh Yao Yai. I not do vote so many in my life. But this guy with wife are helpful another people, when you need help (they are so kindly and they will help you).
About service here. Very kindly and beautiful. They have a fresh and cheapest food from every location when I wrote. Very sweet mango. And good Ča hiao (Thai green tea). Thank you for kindly service. When people do business with good heart the life is a more better:).
Love this place! Authentic Thai food and really cheap aswell. We had a Curry with rice two milkshakes and Summer roles and payed 250 THB.

Richtig nette Leute mit richtig gutem, günstigem Essen! Man merkt richtig mit wieviel Liebe sie dieses kleine "Restaurant" führen! Die Portionen sind nicht klein und doch preislich richtig günstig und was vorallem wichtig ist: Lecker!:)
This is a great place to stop for a delicious and cheap bite. We stopped here after our quick boat trip from Koh Yao Noi to Koh Yao Yai and were warmly welcomed by the owner. He gave us a map of the island, tons of advice on what to do on the island, and he offered us a ride to our resort which we were able to negotiate a reasonable fare for. While there, we only got a fruit shake for 30 baht. We decided to go back the next day on our scooter and got a fruit shake, 2 entrees, an orange soda and club soda all for 220 baht. Best deal on the island and really great food!
6 nights in Yao Yai, ate there every day! Owned by a lovely couple, she cooks and he serves. Only 5 tables. Delicious, flavorful, authentic Thai food. Prices actually are very low, unlike most restaurants on the island that have great reviews saying the prices are cheap, but then you end up paying 120 baht for fried rice. No, this place has plenty of options in the 50-60 baht and they are all delicious! Also lots of cats and kittens playing around.

This is one of the only restaurants in the area that actually lists prices in the menu, so you know exactly what you're paying without any surprises. It's also the cheapest place we've seen on the island. Very tasty food, friendly service and the best mixed fruit shake we've had on our trip so far (mango, pineapple, passion fruit - 50 Baht)! If you ask them, they can make vegetarian food.
