Baramate Khao Lak

I LOVED Baramate. The house is beautiful. Everything feels very new, modern and tastefully designed. The rooms are a very generous size, much bigger than some 4* hotels I've experienced in Europe and the US.
The double bed is huge and comfortable, the AC works well, there's a big fridge and the smart TV has a great selection of channels and apps. Each room has a balcony and I loved that there's a fly screen, so you can actually get some fresh air into the room without being bitten. The shower pressure is great.
I needed to work from here for a few days and the WiFi works very well, with plenty of space to work in the room.
The breakfast is varied and delicious and the whole place is spotless - the hosts told me I could wear my flip flops inside but I didn't want to as it's so clean!
I loved the location too - 2 mins from the main road but very quiet. 15 mins walk to the beach, 2 mins to the 7-11 and minutes to other local shops and restaurants.
And finally the hosts are wonderful, so welcoming, kind and helpful with anything you might need.
No wonder Baramate rates so highly, it's fantastic and brilliant value for the quality! It's my new go-to whenever in the Khao Lak area. Stay here!
