Asia Safari / Elephant Sanctuary Khaolak reviews
12We went because we had a young child with s and it was a great experince for him but we though the entrance prces were high for wat was offered
It was very nice. The elephants are well cared for and treated. Take your time to find out everything. Ignore the Russians who want to ride and only come for the photos…
It is an elephant camp that has been around for a long time. And every elephant belongs here. Not moving anywhere, it's a good place to come and support. Because here the elephants are truly cared for by their owners. It's not an elephant rented to do business. Just like anywhere else They are not elephants that have to move to different places to find food. Like other elephant camps Come help support the elephants here a lot.
I can only confirm the previous speaker's comment, the park management came from a private individual and was renamed by the facility, the animals are doing well and everyone looked fine. 1200 Baht (1 adult, with 2 baskets for the elephants to feed, including showering the animals) is appropriate for such an unforgettable moment and benefits the animals. The young, nice lady who accompanied me gave me a lot of useful information about the life of the elephants and their circumstances (German/English). I can only recommend.
PS: The crocodiles that can be seen in previous pictures are no longer there, but the two birds with which you can take pictures are still there
Don’t listen to the reviews. Go! I’ve been to many elephant sanctuaries over the years in Thailand and the elephants are treated so well. We stayed for 2 hours and we’re impressed with the care and freedom to roam they had while we visited.
Up to you ultimately but it was a wonderful time for my family.
Yes some of the elephants had chains on but they were clearly well looked after and the staff gave us a great personal experience bathing one. They care for the animals. No picks used or signs of seen. Would recommend.
This isn’t a safari at at, it’s a zoo but with poorer conditions. The elephants are chained. The peacocks has their feathers plucked out and where in the tiniest enclosure. By all means go if you want to see poorly treated animals
Feeling sorry for elephants.but feeding them.playing with them also available which is still something.bamboo rafting was amazing.i strongly recommend to give a try bamboo rafting.
Do not visit.
When i walk by, the elefants are chained and treated bad. Go to a place where you can feed them and scrub, dont ride on this beautiful animal!
Verdreckt und einfach nur der Horror für die Tiere es kostet 100 baht eintritt pro Person und selbst das ist schon zu viel einfach nur schlecht ein Zwinger im Tierheim ist ein größeres Erlebnis
Don't know why people say that elephants are treated poorly here. In my visit they were nice and clean, no single sign of chains. Crocs were in small cages, hence the 4 stars, but overall great experience. Parrots are awesome, but be careful - they are eating buttons and stuff from your clothes:)
