Ao Thong Beach Bungalows & Restaurant

Stayed at one of the hotels near Ao Thong Beach Bar four times over the past twenty years and have eaten here on numerous occasions. The food is always really good, fresh snapper and prawns etc cooked with traditional Thai flavours at a reasonable price. Good, friendly service in a Tranquil, peacful location with great views and stunning sunsets. Five stars for food, location and service.

Ao Thong Beach is a family business with excellent discipline and cleanliness. Fresh Thai cuisine leaves nothing to be desired. Simply great. The staff is friendly

Bungalovs, restaurant and much more. I took a long tail boat fishing trip from Ao Thong and the trip was total succes. Fishing from 8am to 4 pm with super captain. At 7.30pm they repaired delisious food to us.

Perfect location on the White Sand Beach, near Khao Lak. Bungalows are basic, but clean, beds are comfortable, towels are replaced daily, fresh water is supplied each day. The restaurant is good value for money, and a dinner at sunset is magnificent in a beautiful setting. The personnel is super friendly. Organized tours are also available, if time allows only one tour, I suggest a speed boat day trip to Similan Islands. I recommend both the restaurant and the bungalows.

Excellent service on the beach as well in restaurant with plenty shade for those who want that.
But most of all I want to give even more stars for the toilets and showers, very luxury and clean.

Great and clean bungalows at beautiful location directly at the white sand beach. Super friendly and helpfull staff at the reception and at the restaurant. The food at the restaurant is also amazing but a bit pricy for Thailand - but it‘s worth it!

I think that this is The Best place in Thailand to spend your vacation. Friendly staff, good Thai food, quiet location, white sand, what else you want.

There aren’t as many “civil” beach options in Khao Lak and this is one of them. I really enjoyed the tranquility. Gorgeous white sand, plenty of shade. 150 baht for a sunbed or order at least as much at the restaurant and the bed is for free. The prices are very reasonable for the location.
