If you want to mess around with the Monkeys this old temple is a good place to visit.

The place is not well maintained but for the price of small entry fee it's worth it.

Plan on spending about 30 minutes here.it's not that big.

Tips:

Keep all your stuff tight was the monkeys would try to take it.

I wouldn't take very small children here as the monkeys can get a little aggressive.

Bring vegetable and fruit if you are looking to feed them. The will swarm you so keep it close.

For the most part the monkeys after the initial curiosity leaves you alone especially the adults.

ด้วยความที่เป็นโบราณสถานก็มีความตื่นตาตื่นใจอยู่แล้วกับความเก่าแก่ มีลิงเยอะมากที่อยู่อาศัยโดยรอบ ภาพถ่ายให้สวยงามควรถ่ายตอนรถไฟวิ่งผ่านด้วยจะดีมากๆ ภายในค่อนข้างมืด ถ้าทำหลอดไฟส่องจะดีมาก และแสงส่งสว่างทางเดินจะทำให้เห็นรายละเอียดได้มากขึ้น โดยมีค่าเข้าคนไทย20ต่างชาติ 50บาท

Very beautiful temple, full of monkeys, be careful. They can be aggressive and stealing, you are given a stick at the entrance.
Quite small site, inside there are bats.

Definitely different. The monkeys OWN this part of town, much to the local shopkeepers chagrin. It is a pretty run-down part of the city. They climbed on our cars and at some point peeled up a couple of trim pieces on the hood. I just popped them back on.
I paid 50 baht to enter the fenced-in temple grounds. The fence is more for people as it doesn't hinder the passage of monkeys one bit.
Lots of baby monkeys that are really cute. I had one tug on my shoe, then run back to mom.
They give you a small bamboo stick with your paid admission, presumably to ward off over-curious primates. Never needed it as the pretty much ignored my.
I probably don't need to visit it again, but I don't regret stopping by.

Came to see monkeys, but also got to experience people acting like monkeys. As soon as we parked, a person came up and wanted 200 Baht for the temple.said she would give parking for free. I said no, but then she threw in a "guide". And since my car would be parked unattended at their mercy, I reluctantly agreed. Nothing like a little light extortion to start off a visit to monkey city. We paid the park entrance fee (20 for Thais, 50 for foreigners) and walked into the ruin where most of the monkeys were hanging out. To be fair, you can see monkeys without going into the ruins and there are other, smaller ruins without fees, but that was the largest and we came all this way, so we may as well. The "guide" kept trying to get us to buy food for the monkeys, despite the "no feeding" signs all over the place. Monkeys were generally well behaved except for one adolescent that jumped on to my arm and "bit" my arm (he just wanted attention/food.didn't break the skin). I quickly tossed him on the ground and bared my teeth to show him mine was bigger than his.and he moved off.lol
The ruins are worth a visit by themselves. You should go inside if you're so inclined (it's still allowed). Lack of restroom facilities, you have to use one of the restaurants or wait and stop at a nearby gas station later. At the end, the "guide wanted a "tip". Unlike tip-crazy USA, people here don't usually expect nor demand tips.except where tourists are concerned, I guess. Overall good experience with the monkeys.now if we could get the people to be as well behaved.

Here you will find Khmer architecture, Buddha statues, and lots and lots of monkeys. For tourists, they are the main attraction. Some are a nuisance, others are more benign, but that's just my opinion of the tourists, the monkeys behave exactly as you would expect monkeys to behave. Keep your bags close to you, always done up, and don't bring any sweets. Monkeys love scarves, so if you are wearing one, be prepared to fight a monkey or two for it.

เป็นสถานที่ที่มีความสำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์ ลิงดูเป็นมิตร ไม่ก้าวร้าว เพียงแค่อยากให้ผู้ดูแลสถานที่ให้ความสำคัญกับความสะอาดของสถานที่ จากขยะ และสิ่งสกปรกโดยรอบ แต่ถือว่าประทับใจกับการมาลพบุรีครั้งแรก

Lopburi in general was underwhelming. This temple is where the majority of monkeys hang out and smells accordingly! 5 minutes at a push!

Fun place for a day trip. The town is covered with monkeys and they're not afraid to come right up to you and sit on your shoulders. When you arrive there are locals selling bags of corn or juice that you can feed the monkeys. Be careful not to have any lose jewelry or glasses on they will steal anything they can get their hands on.

ก็สะดวกครับ ไหว้ศาลพระกาฬ แล้วข้ามไปถ่ายรูปที่ปรางค์สามยอดใกล้ๆ ไม่ควรหิ้วอะไรไป (ลิงจะเข้าใจว่าเป็นของกินและมาแย่ง) ห้ามจ้องตาลิง (ลิงจะโกรธอาจเข้าทำร้ายคุณได้) ก่อนขึ้นรถ ตรวจสอบว่าคุณเหยียบทุ่นระเบิด (อุจาระลิง) มาหรือปล่าว.

Had a short visit here. Need to watch out for monkey poo. Watch out for your belongings as some monkey will snatch it. Need to pay for entrance.

入場料も安いです。
持ち物に注意しましょう。お菓子とかジュースとかはもちろん、下手したらカメラ取られる可能性あり！
でも凶暴でなく人馴れしているみたいで、襲いまくったりはしてないですよー

Entrance fee is only 100 baht.
Monkeys are not too much aggressive.
But you have to take care of your belongings.
If you are drinking something, They are looking for steal it.lol

What a great place for a mini vacation. We took the train from Bangkok for 50 baht. It was about 2 1/2 hours out it was fun to meet the locals and try different foods along the way. We went during the yearly festival where they put out food for all the monkeys. There were monkeys everywhere. BEWARE. These little guys will steal anything they can get there hands on. Hats, hair ties, necklace, your phone! Water ect. Be careful. They can open zippers as well. They are very clever. But for the most part they are fun to play with.
