เขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์หรือเขื่อนของพ่อ เป็นเขื่อนกักเก็บน้ำที่ใหญ่ ยาว ลึก ที่สุดในประเทศไทย ตามแนวพระราชดำริของพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชเพื่อป้องกันปัญหาน้ำท่วมในลุ่มแม่น้ำป่าสัก การรถไฟฯ ก็จะเปิดเดินรถไฟนำเที่ยวเขื่อนป่าสักฯ ปีละ 1 ครั้ง ช่วงเดือน พฤศจิกายน - มกราคม ของทุกปี.
ที่หยุดรถเขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์ อยู่ถัดจากสถานีแก่งเสือเต้นไม่ไกลมากนัก สามารถนั่งรถไฟมาลงที่นี่เพื่อเที่ยวเขื่อนป่าสักได้ครับ
เขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์เป็นเขื่อนที่สร้างไว้กักเก็บน้ำ ระหว่าง 2 จังหวัด ลพบุรี สระบุรี เป็นที่เที่ยวใกล้ กรุงเทพ ฯ ใช้เวลาเดินทาง 2 ชั่วโมงต้นๆ มีร้านอาหารให้เลือกทานตามความชอบมีรถไฟรางที่วิ่งบนเขื่อนเพื่อไปไหว้พระพุทธรัตนมณีมหาบพิตร ชลสิทธิ์มงคลชัยหรือหลวงปู่ป่าสัก ใช้เวลา 15-20 นาทีรถรางก็จะเคลื่อนกลับไปจุดเริ่มต้นค่าโดยสาร บัตร 30 บาท ผู้ใหญ่
Excellent land spot for adults and children for sightseeing around the Dam. The location were great fresh air and wild location. Good choice of food just small bite.
Parking quite many even weekend. However the wheelchair may not easy for those who use.
I came here with the flower train over the weekend in the morning. The return train will depart at 15: 30, while train arrived around 15: 00. Until then, you have free time to visit photogenic locations such as a sunflower field. There is not many waiting seat in this station. I recommend that your waiting time in this station should be short. You can walk up to the lake in about 5 min, there were some weekend shops.
เขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์ เป็นโครงการตามพระราชดำริของพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ที่ทรงดำริให้สร้างเขื่อนเพื่อเก็บกักน้ำและแก้ไขปัญหาน้ำท่วม เป็นเขื่อนดินที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย โดยพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ได้พระราชทานนามว่า “เขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์” และเสด็จทรงเปิดเขื่อนฯ เมื่อวันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน 2542
ลมพัดเย็นสบายจังเลย บรรยากาศดีมาก แต่เวลาน้อยไปหน่อย ไว้จะมาใหม่ ยังไม่ได้ไปเที่ยวบนสันเขื่อนเลย
