Wienglakor Hotel

This place was dark dirty and mouldy. The garden view was a wall with pidgeons. No garden in sight. The bathroom was dirty and the shower curtain had gross stains on it. The toilet seat had a crack so it pinched your butt. We left a day early to go to the clean Space Hotel.

We were only there to eat. Everything tasted great. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly.

Went there for lunch with a tour group, the food was very geared towards European tastes, the service staff were friendly, the food was only lukewarm, you were literally "rushed through" even before anyone had touched the soup, the main courses had already arrived, and people were cashing in while some were still on food were.

Nice old building but very poorly maintained. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not ok at all. There were urine stains on the toilet seat which we ended up cleaning ourselves. The breakfast is served to the table which was ok but really bad coffee and orange juice. The staff at the reception didn’t speak english so it was a bit difficult to communicate.

Overall room a bit old but manage it well. Very Clean.
Breakfast is included I had order the local Thai breakfast delicious. I like the gardens and the fish pond.

25 August 2022. Stayed two nights. It must have been well over a decade since our last visit to Lampang. The very first time we stayed at this lovely hotel was on a business trip with Siam Michelin (the French tire company, Bangkok office), and loved it! ️

This would be our third time here at this hotel, and it is good to see it in such good condition especially after two years of Covid-19?

There’s now a Central department store near by (10 minutes walk). ️

My only complaint about this hotel is the bathroom, and the lack of unoccupied electrical outlets in the room. This place was probably built well before the age of mobile phones!

The room was old but nice and clean. No bad smell of any kind, no peeling paint, no moulds or water stains. Nothing was broken in the room. The AC was nice and cold. Housekeeping was excellent. ️

The bathroom could do with some renovation. The bathroom faucet at the wash basin was hard to grip with soapy hands. The faucet at the bathtub was the old style pull up diverter “to use the shower” knob that was quite cumbersome to use. Water pressure had to be high enough to keep the diverter in the up position, and only then water will flow to the shower. I don’t think the younger generation would know how to turn on this shower! Water pressure was excellent with plenty of hot water. There was no sewage smell.

Unoccupied electrical outlets in the room was scarce. There was only one right in the middle of the headboard. I didn’t want to use it, because I didn’t want to sleep with the phone charging right next to my head. So when I was ready for bed I would use the bedside table lamp outlet to charge my phone, and use the floor lamp outlet when I wanted to use my laptop. Considering the price, a minor inconvenience.

So for the price of a Best Western (breakfast included) with a beautiful lobby, excellent service by uniformed crew, three choices for cooked breakfast, and bell boy service, I would give this hotel 4 stars.

เป็นโรงแรมใหญ่ที่ออกแบบและตกแต่งได้สวยงามมากๆ บรรยากาศก็ดี พนักงานถูกอบรมมาให้รักการบริการ เคยได้รับรางวัลการออกแบบอาคารจากสมาคมสถาปนิกสยาม ปี 2539 รับแขกวีไอพี และต่างชาติ เสียดายที่จอดรถไม่มาก อาหารอร่อยมาก เหมาะสำหรับงานจัดเลี้ยงและงานประชุมสัมมนา

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The garden setting, the large Koy pond with the waterfall by the restaurant, the breakfast that was included, and the very friendly staff. We visited several cities on a recent trip to northern Thailand. This was definitely one of our favorite places to stay.

โรงแรมเก่ามาก ไม่สมกับราคา และโกหกคำโฆษณาใน Agoda ว่าสร้างใหม่ ซึ่งเป็นการหลอกลวงผู้บริโภคมากๆ รวมถึงเรื่อง service ภายในห้อง ปลั๊กไฟ ใช้ได้แค่ปลั๊กเดียวทั้งห้อง ซึ่งไม่สมกับรา 1,500 บาท

ห้องพักเก่ามาก ไม่สมราคาเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับโรงแรมแบบเดียวกันในเมือง ปลั๊กไฟทั้งห้อง มีอันเดียว

ที่พักถือว่าโอเคอยู่ในเกณฑ์ดี แต่การจัดการจอดรถได้แย่มากๆ ที่จอดเต็มจนต้องจอดข้างนอกโรงแรม ไม่พอเป็นที่เปลี่ยว ระยะทางเดินจากรถมาเข้าโรงแรมก็ไกลพอสมควร ถ้ามีของเยอะหรือลืมของไว้ที่รถคงต้องเซงไปกว่านี้

อาหารเช้าเป็นแบบเซ็ต พนักงานไม่ได้แจ้งว่าถ้าขอเพิ่ม ต้องชำระเงิน ถ้าแจ้งก่อนก็ไม่ได้มีปัญหา เพราะคิดว่า ถ้าเป็นบุฟเฟต์ก็เติมได้เหมือนกัน ลูกชายไม่อิ่ม สั่งข้าวไข่ดาว 2 ฟอง แฮมลวก 3 ชิ้น คิดราคา 100 บาท อยากถามว่า ราคาห้องพักรวมอาหารเช้าก็ไม่ได้ถูกนะคะ เหมาะสมแล้วหรือค่ะ และในส่วนห้องพัก เตียงใหญ่มาก นอน 3 คน พ่อ แม่ ลูก (6 ขวบกว่า) ​แต่โรงแรมแจ้ง (บังคับ) ​ให้เพิ่มเตียงเสริม (ซึ่งไม่ได้ใช้) ​สมเหตุสมผลแล้วหรืออย่างไรค่ะ

วันนี้พักห้อง 529 ตอนเช้าวิวสวยครับ อาหารดี บริการดี พนังงานสุภาพ ห้องตกแต่งดี ตามอายุสถานที่ครับ โดยรวมดีครับ

Pretty good hotel.
My only complaint was on agoda they said they had in room safety box but they didn't.
The buffet was very good.
Great value for the money.

สถานที่ยังดูดี สะอาด การบริการเทียบกับมาตรฐานโรงแรมสามดาวแล้วไม่ได้ดีกว่าที่อื่น หากเปรียบเทียบกับราคาที่พักถือว่าค่อนข้างแพง เมื่อเทียบกับที่อื่นที่คุณภาพที่พักใกล้เคียงกัน ผู้ที่กำลังจะใช้มาตรการช่วยเหลือของรัฐขอให้เทียบราคากับแพลทฟอร์มอื่นๆดูก่อนตัดสินใจ สรุป เฉยๆ ไม่มีอะไรน่าประทับใจ

โรงแรม service ดีมาก ดูแลดี อาหารที่โรงแรมอร่อย มีเมนูหลากหลาย ในเรื่องห้อง มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบ ทำความสะอาดให้ทุกวัน แต่เนื่องจากเป็นโรงแรมที่อยู่มานาน ทำให้ห้องดูเก่าๆ และดูมืด โดยรวม ถือว่าดีครับ ควรลองมาพักครับ
