Yawee Restaurant

They are definitely exceeding kitchen capacity.
Waited 20mins for the queue, then 40 mins for the noodles which at the end was cold plus the salad arrived way after the main dish. Food is decent and inexpensive but more organization needed. Not recommend for high season.

Yawee Restaurant was our second home for over 10 days. We went there morning, lunch and evening because it is simply the best place on Koh Lanta.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and the restaurant is very nicely decorated.
Every dish was delicious, beautifully prepared and pretty good value for what you got.
All in all, we had a wonderful time there and even though not everyone spoke English, we always got what we ordered.

Since the kitchen is a little smaller, it can take a little longer until the food is there, especially in the evening.but it's worth the wait!

It is also best to reserve in advance in the evening, otherwise there could be waiting times.

Great clean place. Also, halal beef which is like 10 times better than your regular beef.
Always busy because of quality food and great staff there.

I like the way how they decorated the food it's so cute but the taste is so so for me.
Have many food options to choose and reasonable prices.

Ordered the crispy chicken massaman curry which was very flavourful and filling as the portion size was good. Also ordered the pad krapao which was sadly disappointing and watery, I asked for it to be made spicy but it was quite mild and on the sweeter side, so had to request for extra chillies. The service was fast and it seemed like a popular place.

Yawee is arguably the best restaurant on Koh Lanta! We came twice for dinner and were seriously impressed on both occasions. It’s only been newly renovated, new menus and premises look great! The Panang Shrimp is amazing. But if you’re only trying one thing, it has to be the fried chicken massaman. DELICIOUS staff are very friendly and service is very quick

Delicious food. Try the fried chicken or tofu. Very nice staff. Complimentary drinking water which we really appreciated.

Cheap and delicious food. The Korean fried chicken is to die for. So is the beef basil on rice. Highly recommended

Really good food! I ordered the papya salad woth fried chicken and it was amazing! Even tho it was in the appatizer section it made me pretty full. Absolutely recommend!

Hands down the best restaurant in Thailand, never done a review before but this place was to good not to say Wow! My fifth time here in 3 days and I'll be coming back tomorrow. I definately recommend the Yawee fried chicken, garlic and pepper chicken/shrimp, Tom yum soup and red curry!

This is a super tiny place on the main road close to Yang or Kindee. You have to watch out because I have never seen people waiting in line to get a seat so often as at Yawee. The portions are small but the food is just incredible. If you haven't tried them yet you need to try the Yawee Chicken Wings - those are just out of space. The staff is super friendly and the prices are absolutely Thai style.

After one month in the island trying several local tai restaurants, this is the best one that combines the flavors, the portions and the prices! Come and you will not regret it

Our favourite restaurant on Koh Lanta! Thank you Yawee for providing us with the best vegan meals! They are so welcoming to everyone who is vegetarian and vegan! Their fried tofu is something I've never seen before on a menu in Thailand the prices here are perfect and we have nothing bad to say about this place! The people are sooo friendly and we love their cats!

The menu has a wide range of options especially for vegan/vegetarian people.
I had a green curry with tofu. Hands down, the best curry I have had so far in Thailand.

Traditional Thai food done well; staff was always very responsive and accommodating and the food was consistently great. Generous portions and affordable prices, a don't miss if you are in the mood for some great Thai food. Visiting again with this update and all is still great and tasty!

I’d give this lovely restaurant infinite stars if I could. Very polite staff, phenomenal food, and overall a great experience. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality is excellent. We got shrimp spring rolls, crispy chicken with lemon sauce, rice and shrimp on massaman curry, rice and crispy chicken on massaman curry, and an Oreo shake. Everything was delicious and we are heading home with a happy tummies. Could not recommend this restaurant enough.
