I’ll add a year later, the restaurant’s workload was 50%, the wait for the order was more than an hour.

Excellent restaurant, it’s 100% worth going here, you won’t regret it, my wife and I have been looking for such a place for more than a week (everything is monotonous on the island).
The price for an Australian steak is 690 baht, but in Moscow it is even more expensive.
The beef or tuna steak is amazing and don't forget to get the beef or tuna tartare, or better yet, both.

What a lovely and beautiful place!
We been there three times (once for brunch) and the pace is splendid! The service is awesome, the atmosphere in the garden wonderful. Clearly a recommendation!

Amazing meal with an excellent atmosphere, cocktail and wine list, and great appetizer and food options. Definitely would recommend this for a nice meal that is worth your money.

If you are here in high season you need to pre book your table, they are surely Lantas most popular restaurant.

Lovely garden ambience and the restaurant not too be missed when in Lanta.

The staff are sweet, friendly and attentive with great service.

The food will be on your table a few minutes after your order. Very quick!

Prices reasonable, worth every penny.

Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my entire life. Amazing staff, head chef was super friendly, food - amazing, seriously insane delicious food. My favourite was the tempura corn starter. Genius twist on the crème brûlée. Thankyou for an amazing experience

Lovely find! Come here for a treat, a date or simply to be in a beautiful environment.

Ordered grilled tuna, which was paired with the delicate Thai watercress (actually really interesting flavours!). Got the side dish of broccoli with pumpkin puree. Another intriguing flavour and texture as well, somehow reminded me of tahini.

The tuna was grilled rare and was super tasty.
There's lots of other delicious sounding dishes but I was alone and couldn't try much.

I felt the bread and buter could be better, as well as the non-alcoholic drinks' options. Otherwise, I'm really glad I came here!

Update: we came back last night for a second time and it was so very good again!

Excellent on all fronts!

What a great restaurant. We booked a reservation via goole chat and was very easy to communicate. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome. The dining room was dived into three open air areas. We sat in the front section as this was the most appealing to us. Lighting was perfect paired with nice music.

The menu was fresh and modern. Nice wine list for the island. The service was excellent and very fast. The restaurant was packed by 8pm.

Such a great overall experience and delicious food. We will be back!

All in all a great place and worth a visit. Especially as it has a stand-alone benefit on the island and the area. Food is good, starters are brilliant (tried the cured salmon and the beef tartar). Mains were OK and would have been much better if the service would have pointed out to order sauces with the tuna and the flank Steak. The later was ordered rare medium and was definitely more of a medium well done. Mains were by far not as good as the starters were. Sides: mashed potato, gnocchi and broccoli very nice all high quality with a little twist to them that made them interesting enough and fun to eat. Considering that thai service might not be as trained as western service personal it was faulty but sweet. Half of the plates were cleared while the rest of the table was still eating however their plates were not cleared until we left so they still sat there during dessert. But all in all a very pleasant surprise and must do while on the island.

Great atmosphere, service and menu. We loved the food and the wine. Their sour bread was amazing and the steak was also very nice.

Always get full of happiness food here!

This place is one of the places as should not be missed, when visit the island.

Recommended to make the reservation, they're often full house after open the door.

2 stars for the nice ambiance, service & the good wine list. Absolutely nothing quite special about the food.small portions, over priced without reason. Tuna tartar was below average, duck the same, cniocchi not good at all, quinoa salad wierd, truffle puree was good.
Could be pricey if food was better.
Bill was 1350 BAT for 2 glass of wine, one starter, one main dish & 3 side dishes.

Food is excellent, service is excellent and the restaurant is really nice.
I have been traveling to Thailand 11 times and this is one of the best restaurants I have visit.

So far on this trip we have eaten on quite a few Michelin guide restaurants in Thailand, but Yang Garden just topped them all

For starters we had the tuna tartar (220B) smoked prawn (190B) and the winner of the staters; the tempura corn. Fatty, crispy and a great sour sauce (180B)

For mains we had the entrecôte (690B) and flanke steak (520B). We had 4 sides (80-95 B) The blue cheese and pear salad was the best.

The meat was tender and smoked with a nice crunchy crust, and perfectly cooked to a medium rare inside. I saw they used a frying thermometer in the kitchen, which turned out to their advantage.

The house Pinot noir was great at the price (1.460B)

We read on one of these reviews that you should have a lot of sides. I would like to second that!

The only small thing was that the old fashioned came within 1 minute form ordering it and unfortunately was unbalanced. I’m not sure, but thinking about the fastness, in my experience I might had been a pre batch. Nevertheless I asked for some syrup, and the problem was solved.

Apologies, was too focused on eating too take any pics! Had the rib eye with a variety of sides after the salmon appetizer. All was fantastic and delicious.

The grilled duck breast was *chefs-kiss*! The sides were the secret star of the evening though. The baked pumpkin with feta and some kind of honey and herb drizzle was beyond delicious. The house gnocchi (with grilled tomato and bacon) were crunchy on the out- and soft on the inside.

The dessert was amazing - we had chocolate fondant and Thai crême brûlée. If you like a fresh lemongrass twist, this is your dessert! We indulged in a chocolate truffe and went home with a full, but very happy belly!

The service at Yang Garden was very attentive and friendly.

Super leckeres Essen und sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Außerdem toller Service und freundliches Servicepersonal. Wir haben unser Dinner sehr genossen. Alles hat super geschmeckt.

Exceeded all my expectations! Great service, delicious food combinations and the backyard is so cute! Loved it!

Went there for dinner with the family after I received recommendations from the resort and very happy I did so. This is a chefs restaurant with amazing food. We loved it and will come back again to try more things from the menu.
