Viking Restaurant

Placed in the Viking hotel, which is a little far away from downtown business. They provide excelent food and drinks at quite decent prices for a hotel restaurant and for the distance one has to walk for the next restaurant. We had club sandwich which was very good and hamburguers with beers. At night, we had the fish barbecue that is made just by the beachside and is awesome and very cheap in price (100baht/75g of fish). It is a reallly good choice for the guests of the hotel and for the ones staying close around to it.

I took deep fried vegetables. Would not recommend. Very sick after that. Or the oil was not fresh or the kitchen is dirty (or both).

Small lovely beach, good place for swimming! The food is ok but not my favorite. Too many insects, remember wearing mosquito repeller.

Super friendly clean rooms from the cleaning staff to the waiters and the manager and the people from the boat that brings you from the port simply unforgettable…. Recommended 100x100

The best Thai food in Phi Phi, wasn't like amazing but good enough for me. Acceptable price. Recommend

I ordered fried fish, I specially asked to frie it less because it was for my child, but the fish was very very burnt. We couldn’t eat it. When I asked for bill discount for fish, they didn’t accept it and I had to pay for burnt fish that we couldn’t eat. And also all the “fresh” fish is frozen.

We ordered 2 soups and it was the worst flood we had during 3 weeks in Thailand and the worst soups in my life. Tasteless water with some carrots and noodles. The price was way too high and unfortunately we did not have time to go to the city and take there proper food with 2 times lower price

We got our food served with tiny bugs, that look exactly like the bugs off of unwashed vegetables. We pointed it out to the staff, but it’s really hard to make them such things understand as they don’t speak any other language apart from thai well… we got another dish at the end, and that was also served with bugs finally, we got no apologies, no service basically. In better places, they would offer you a drink on the house or some sort of compensation and severe apologies.
Also, from one day to another, the price of fresh coconuts went from 60baht to 80baht. They said it’s not true, they were 80baht yesterday too. I showed them my receipt from the day before, when i paid 120baht for two coconuts. At this point, their excuse changed to ‘yesterday coconuts smaller’.

Been there couple of days back and got food poisoning from most likely green curry that we all tried. Bad experience for us. I recommend to be careful what you eat there. Beach is nice.

It's not easy to find, but definitly worth the effort. They've marked a jungle route both from Long Beach and Tonsai. Through the jungle you trek to find this restaurant, which is part of the equally named resort, to find it sat there right at the shoreline. Recommend the deliciously steamed fresh fish, which I'll be back for again.

Super friendly stuff and great food. We ordered the Green Curry Chicken and Sautéed Seafood Noodle. Both were good choices. I accidentally got a cut on my toe and the stuff here were so friendly that they offered me bandages. The beach in front was perfect for snorkeling too. Super recommended!

Wow, we were super impressed with the quality of the food here! Delicious fresh smoothie, satay, and fried fish. They even showed us the fish before they cooked it. And it was cooked to perfection!
Only down side was that there were A LOT of ants. Like an insane amount. However I won’t put that too much on them because we did not say anything or move tables. A lot of cats too! Typical for the area, yes, but did not shoo away from us very easily.
You cannot beat the view, and the staff was super friendly. Give this place a try for sure!

Loved the restaurant here!

Right by the beach with reasonable prices and a beautiful layout with wonderful wooden tables and seats. I came here twice.

The first time I had sesame fried shrimp and a chicken and tomato sauce spaghetti. Please note their sauce with the spaghetti is nothing like Italian Bolognese and more a sweeter thai style sauce. Still delicious in its own way but know what to expect.

The second time I got a fresh red snapper
steamed on the BBQ and it was served with salad and sauce. It was absolutely delicious!

Absolutely awful service. We waited 15 minutes before helping our self to a menu and after a further 20 went to the bar to order. We stood in a queue to order our food & drinks for over 10 minutes (having had a member of staff confirm we were supposed to order at the bar when we stopped him as he walked past) only to be told to return to our table as that was the only place our order could be taken. It was ~2.30pm and not many customers but plenty of staff stood around chatting to each other. Not worth visiting.

Great setting, all the potential to be fantastic, but, the food offering, while good, is basic and in no way matches the price charged. The service is "not good".

I loved the restaurant. The food (except for fish) was very tasty.and mango lassi was the best on the island. I visited the spot every evening for 14 days. Much recommended!

Amazing setting, food not bad, very nice smoothies and good service. Cats around were a plus for us ;)

The restaurant is right at the small private beach. Looks very beautiful and authentic. Thai dishes are good.

Wonderful beach atmosphere, much calmer and quieter than the other beaches here. We stayed all day. We had the tofu noodles in gravy sauce, fried tofu balls, and cheese garlic bread. All were exceptional. Great mojitos too, they brought them to us on the beach!
